A very nice hotel of the Soviet era. Lobby was nice with a bank branch. Surrounded by parks, walkable streets and with a subway station on the corner. ( Subway was clean, quick, easy to navigate and cheap!)

My one night stay at Hotel Uzbekistan was fine. The room was comfortable. I had to leave early so can not comment on the breakfast buffet.

Pros: - Great location with restaurants, shops, metro etc. - Spacious room - Clean room - Very friendly staff - Okay breakfast included in the price - Good price considering the area Cons: - The bed was rock-hard. - Warm water from shower only now and then, and then it was brown. - Room needs renovation. - You could only plug-in a device in some of the sockets. - Noisy refrigerator
