Sunset Cottage - 2 King beds! Downtown Glen Carbon

Place was great for our stay for 3 of us seeing my son at SIUE! A grill is the only addition I would suggest. Wish we found this place before our last trip to Edwardsville.

The cottage was perfect for our needs, fully equipped kitchen, pleasant not overwhelming decor and comfortable king size beds. It was close to everything you could possibly need but still located in a quiet neighborhood. The village library is two maybe three minutes walk away and a cozy bar and grill about five minutes away. St. Louis is a quick trip across the river and easy to and from the airport. Edwardsville and Glen Carbon are packed with shopping, dining, and loads of day and night time entertainment. We will definitely be seeking out this cottage for our next visit.

Sunset cottage was a nice older cottage. It had been remodeled and was nicely decorated. It was clean and had all the amenities that you might need. Access was easy with clear instructions. Location was awesome, easy to get to SIU-E and any shopping or restaurants you might need. Communication was extremely good, Sophie replied within an hour of any questions I had. Would recommend this cottage to anyone staying in the Glen Carbon/ Edwardsville area.

The property was immaculate and well taken care of. The host was friendly and responsive and granted me a later check out time even when my message didn’t reach her. She arranged to have the property cleaned later.It was a perfect spot for me and it was nice to have quiet and privacy. Great place to stay!

I was here for an extended period for work in the area and this lovely little cottage was wonderful as a home away from home. Very comfortable and clean. The host, Sophie, was very responsive, helpful, and accommodating. Close to Glen Carbon bike trails and some pretty great eats with The Cabin and The Wooden Nickle, and it's within a reasonable distance to hop over the river and explore St. Louis. I would 100% stay again if back in the area for vacation.
