Wander through the French Quarter from a Treme Shotgun Home

Comment vivre la vraie aventure de la Nouvelle-Orleans ailleurs que un logement typique de la ville? Maison traditionnelle divisée en deux logements. L’organisation est en enfilade, avec chambres traversantes chacunes ayant sa salle de bain. Le logement a une jolie décoration un peu masculine et festive. Nous y avons trouvé tout le nécessaire. A proximité : le parc Armstrong (5 minutes à pied), le quartier français 8-10 minutes), la ligne verte du tramway (10 minutes). Le parking est aisé juste devant le domicile. Dan a été très attentif et charmant. La ville reste marquée par quelques stigmates des ouragans mais on peut voir le courage et l’abnégation de ses habitants. Côté festif je n’ai entendu nos voisines qu’une fois rentrer assez tardivement très enthousiastes de leur soirée. Le wifi a été capricieux a deux ou trois reprises.

The place is Sooo clean and neat!! Plenty of towels and bath needs. PLUS claw foot tubs. Great for a great a long soak after a long day. They provide plenty of hangers for you. worth getting again. They allowed me to drop off my bags prior check in which was a big help. I loved the neighborhood and the people. I felt totally safe.

The home was very cute, quaint and fully equipped with all the basic needs. Our hosts were very communicative and easy to reach out for any questions. The descriptions of the local cafes, bars and POI were absolutely spot on. It made our stay very very comfortable.

We had a great stay! The host was exceptional-communicative and thoughtful throughout our visit. The location was spot-on and made getting around so easy. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again!
