The house was perfect for 3 couples. It was comfortable, included all the amenities for fixing meals at home. It was a wonderful neighborhood and easy walking distance to the beach. We had a bonus in that the weather was gorgeous for January!!

Newly renovated and nicely appointed, and only a 5 minute walk to the beach (between Seal Rock and Bird Rock). Because of rough weather, we didn\'t get a chance to try the outdoor firepit, but we were able to play cornhole in the garage and watch movies on the 85" TV. The kitchen is especially well appointed, although we didn\'t cook. Some nice touches also - bidet seat, Nikon Monarch binoculars, collection of art books. The house is pet-friendly, which is great, but the previous renters left 2 piles of dog poop in the yard. And of course, the posted price was increased by 84% by the fees and taxes.

The family loved staying at this beautiful house. 15 minute walk from bird rock and the beach. So close you can hear the sea lions if you sit on the porch in the evening. Cannery Row and the aquarium are a 20 minute drive. Comfortable and well-equipped property. Was surprised to find a nice coffee grinder in the kitchen, next time I won't have to bring my own. Maybe better for early risers rather than night owls since one of the many skylights is in the master bedroom. We will definitely book this property again the next time we visit Monterey!

Our family of 6 spent a few nights in Carmel and then moved into Cypress Rest to enjoy Pebble Beach and a couple days of golf. It wasn’t warm enough to enjoy time at the nearby beach but we enjoyed an evening around the fire pit and playing cornhole!

The house was wonderful. Well equipped and everything was in great condition. Fenced-in back yard was very nice and ideal for a dog. Great location, just off the most interesting parts of 17 Mile Drive. Easy to pass through the toll gate with the pass that is provided.

I would suggest putting a king sized bed in the primary bedroom. I would also note that Sanctuary Rentals note they can no longer put your resevation on a list at the Pebble Beach gates however the people at the gates themselves disagree and say they can still call so you do not have to pay each day.

The home was pretty and comfortably furnished. There were some things missed when cleaning.ie- empty water bottle under tv cabinet.?drawers in bathroom had wrappers and hair. Bedrooms are comfortable- but window coverings need update. No way to darken the morning sunlight. Skylight in master let too much light in as well. On another note we had an event to attend and because of the 4:00 check in time ( we tried to get earlier check in with no luck) we were very late. I think 4:00 is simply too late for check in arrival!

The house was wonderful. Well equipped and everything was in great condition. Fenced-in back yard was very nice and ideal for a dog. Great location, just off the most interesting parts of 17 Mile Drive. Easy to pass through the toll gate with the pass that is provided.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed here before, very nice location, clean property and very comfortable. I would suggest putting a king sized bed in the primary bedroom. I would also note that Sanctuary Rentals note they can no longer put your resevation on a list at the Pebble Beach gates however the people at the gates themselves disagree and say they can still call so you do not have to pay each day.

The home was pretty and comfortably furnished. There were some things missed when cleaning.ie- empty water bottle under tv cabinet.?drawers in bathroom had wrappers and hair. Bedrooms are comfortable- but window coverings need update. No way to darken the morning sunlight. Skylight in master let too much light in as well. On another note we had an event to attend and because of the 4:00 check in time ( we tried to get earlier check in with no luck) we were very late. I think 4:00 is simply too late for check in arrival!

Cypress Rest is a beautiful yet comfortable home. It is located on a street filled with beautiful homes and is less than 1/2 a mile to the beach which we loved. My family and I were also impressed with the property management team at Sanctuary Vacation Rentals. They knew we were arriving late and took the extra time to leave the lights on making entry easy to navigate. We appreciated their call and text checking to make sure everything was okay, and we love that they care about the neighborhood by providing us with neighborhood expectations. We would love to rent any home managed by Sanctuary Vacation Rentals.

We loved this spacious, updated, clean and comfortable home, but the best part of the stay was being able to walk to the stunning beach, part of world famous 17 mile drive. As the saying goes, location, location, location. Only a short drive to every amenity and gorgeous beaches and communities the Monterey Peninsula offers. We will happily return. Thanks for a fabulous stay in this slice of heaven.

The house had a large couch which was great. The kitchen was as advertised and was plenty big for 6 of us. The only minor complaint was the water pressure was pretty low.

House was so near to the beach area and all the golf courses, and as always, it was on par with Santuary standard. All the quality an detail was top notch and the living room and tv room space was so good for us to enjoy spending time talking and hanging out inside the house as well.
