We had a great time at this house. We were in town for a funeral so things were a little somber but it was really nice to come back to such a well kept house with plenty of space for our family. The pool was welcome especially for the kids and we got a kick out of the electric design of the house. Very happy with our choice.

We stayed here for a long weekend for a family wedding in the area. The house was close to the freeways and it was in a safe and nice neighborhood. House is listed as advertised. Pool was a nice addition and the heater warmed it right up.

We spent a few days in San Jose for a Celebration of life for my cousin. This location was perfect. It was centrally located and enabled my husband and I to spend some quality time with the elderly in-laws driving them to the events of the week. The pool had some repairs completed the day of arrival, so new water had just been added, it looked beautiful but was freezing. I would highly recommend this house. Location was perfect, it was clean, cozy and a wonderful away from home location. So much better than a hotel.

This was a lovely home in a nice neighborhood. There were no disturbances and everything worked! The house was very comfortable. We definitely enjoyed swimming in the pool! We were not familiar with the San Jose area, but we would definitely stay here again! Cool furniture in the house, we enjoyed checking it all out!

We were in town for a wedding and the property was a perfect getaway. The pool was a great oasis for relaxing and spending time together, the beds were very comfortable and smelled so fresh, and the location is close to everything.

The house was super clean and very peaceful. We enjoyed the pool even though we opted not to heat it. The neighborhood is nice. We stopped by the store and picked up water, coffee and other supplies. The house is in a convenient location to stores, freeways, and other things you might need or like to do. The beds were comfortable and we had enough towels. It was a good experience.

Nice & roomy. Very comfortable. Only complaint would be on towels and wash cloths. Not enough wash cloths for everyone & no extras so we had to do laundry multiple times. And no pool towels.

The house was perfect for us to have plenty of space and a great location while visiting extended family in the area. The home was clean and had all the essentials. The host is very kind, responsive, and takes a lot of pride in the house. We will stay here again! (We didn't use the pool but it looked inviting)

We had 7 people, 3 generations, come together for Thanksgiving. To start quickly, there were a couple of hiccups. We did not have check-in instructions prior to arrival, but it was resolved within minutes when we arrived. There weren't hand towels for the washroom, but we made do with the available linens. There weren't sufficient silverware (6 forks for 7 people). Slow drain in the main shower. That being said, these were minor compared to our overall experience. The host was very responsive to questions before our visit as well as while standing on the doorstep. The home was clean and completely as advertised. I was pleased because we were able to hold a full Thanksgiving dinner in the home - turkey, homemade breads, dressings, etc.! Large kitchen with plenty of room for 3 cooks. It was really nice to have a coffee machine with carafe as we had several coffee drinkers in the group. We brought games and puzzles to play and the furniture and layout in the family room was comfortable and flexible enough to meet our needs. Location is quiet with quick access to shopping. We took some walks around the neighborhood and watched residents put up Christmas lights. We would consider visiting again!

My family and I had a great stay. Then house was immaculate and cozy. The only thing there were not enough supplies to accommodate my family. We were a party of 8 and there weren’t enough washcloths for us, and I had to purchase more. I also had to purchase extra paper towels as well. Other than these few minor details everything was great.

Very clean and in a safe quiet neighborhood. This is not a party house. Updated bathrooms. Spacious living area. Kitchen has everything you need. Pool water was a little low and dirty but we didn’t end up going in it so wasn’t a big deal. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

We were looking for a place that 4 adults could have their own room and space and yet be together. We visited with the plan to do a "Poor Mans Pebble Beach" golf trip. While it isn't close to Monterey, we made the 1 hour drive each day down to the areas we were playing and honestly, the traffic wasn't bad and it was nice to pay a little less than if we stayed closer. Gwen was responsive and answered all our questions. The place is a little old, but net our needs. Did not use the pool or patio, but we did hang out to watch TV each night. Overall, great place to stay.

The house was in a quiet neighborhood and beautiful. The one bed was very squeaky but is perfect for children. There were some minor issues (coffee maker wouldn't work and washer/dryer issues) but the host was very responsive to the problems.

The house is very roomy and comfortable. It allowed 7 people including a 22 month old, two children, and 4 adults to coexist with plenty of space for all. Unfortunately it was very cool and rained almost the whole time we were there, so we couldn't use the pool, but it looks very nice. Owners were quick to respond to our requests. And it's in a great location. There is a lot to do in the area or on a short drive south or north of San Jose. This includes activities for the kids as well as the adults. The neighborhood in which the house is located is lovely.

We came to visit family and shared with my sister in law’s family- there was plenty of room and the pool was a big hit with the kids. Great location and close to lots of shopping/ food. The owner was easy to communicate with and my kids loved there was a lemon tree.

It was really nice to have a coffee machine with carafe as we had several coffee drinkers in the group. We brought games and puzzles to play and the furniture and layout in the family room was comfortable and flexible enough to meet our needs. Location is quiet with quick access to shopping. We took some walks around the neighborhood and watched residents put up Christmas lights. We would consider visiting again!

We stayed here for a long weekend for a family wedding in the area. The house was close to the freeways and it was in a safe and nice neighborhood. House is listed as advertised. Pool was a nice addition and the heater warmed it right up.

We spent a few days in San Jose for a Celebration of life for my cousin. This location was perfect. It was centrally located and enabled my husband and I to spend some quality time with the elderly in-laws driving them to the events of the week. The pool had some repairs completed the day of arrival, so new water had just been added, it looked beautiful but was freezing. I would highly recommend this house. Location was perfect, it was clean, cozy and a wonderful away from home location. So much better than a hotel.

We were in town for a wedding and the property was a perfect getaway. The pool was a great oasis for relaxing and spending time together, the beds were very comfortable and smelled so fresh, and the location is close to everything.

We enjoyed the property- very spacious. We really enjoyed the outdoor pool as well. Close to everything including Levi stadium! Gwen was wonderful to work with.

Great property in a very good location. Swimming pool was a big plus. Host was very accomodating and responded very promptly even when I sent questions early in the morning Central Time.

The house was super clean and very peaceful. We enjoyed the pool even though we opted not to heat it. The neighborhood is nice. We stopped by the store and picked up water, coffee and other supplies. The house is in a convenient location to stores, freeways, and other things you might need or like to do. The beds were comfortable and we had enough towels. It was a good experience.

Very clean and in a safe quiet neighborhood. This is not a party house. Updated bathrooms. Spacious living area. Kitchen has everything you need. Pool water was a little low and dirty but we didn’t end up going in it so wasn’t a big deal. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

We had 7 people, 3 generations, come together for Thanksgiving. To start quickly, there were a couple of hiccups. We did not have check-in instructions prior to arrival, but it was resolved within minutes when we arrived. There weren't hand towels for the washroom, but we made do with the available linens. There weren't sufficient silverware (6 forks for 7 people). Slow drain in the main shower. That being said, these were minor compared to our overall experience. The host was very responsive to questions before our visit as well as while standing on the doorstep. The home was clean and completely as advertised. I was pleased because we were able to hold a full Thanksgiving dinner in the home - turkey, homemade breads, dressings, etc.! Large kitchen with plenty of room for 3 cooks. This older home nestled in a safer area of San Jose was great for our stay. The location worked well for our day trip to San Francisco and local entertainment. Size of the house was comfortable for our family of six- with space to spare. Bathrooms look to have been updated not long ago, and had great water pressure to shower with. Good supplies available and double washer/dryer was nice. CONS: We did find the beds hard and somewhat uncomfortable, though this is a personal preference. Would like to see at least one King size (thought there was when booking)- the full/queens were tight for doubles up sleeping arrangements. The kitchen cabinets are original and wood on wood, so they don’t open and close smoothly. Recommend updating these or at least their mounting hardware for better function. The keypad on front door malfunctioned several times and we had trouble gaining access to the home. Would like to see another lock on front door that works- as the slide is broken.

The location was lovely and good for the price. I also loved the street parking which was easy. There was confusion as to our additional headcount which was flagged early but unconfirmed and not followed up on, and the location was advertised as being able to host up to 10 people but when we arrived it did not have enough towels or bedding to accommodate our additional headcount. This sounds like it was miscommunication, however when attempting to contact the host to get the items we needed (around 9:30pm) I was unable to get a hold of them until the next morning (I left multiple phone calls and texts). We were able to make it work but I didn't realize I the home needed those additional supplies, and I would assume they would be there and we would just have to pay for the additional headcount. Instead we had to pay a fee for the additional cleaner visit for supplies. A disappointing mixup to say the least but the rest of the home was great!
