*Luxury Cabin in the Pines *BBQ

Fantastic property!

Pictures are great but still don’t do it justice. Incredible place, perfect for large groups of adults or children (we had 6 ranging from 2-13). Wonderful amenities.

Beautiful views, well equipped house, cozy with the fireplace, nearby trails for walks/hiking (Walton Lake, Lynx and Salida Gulch), 20 min ride to Costco & Walmart. Very steep climb on the drive to the house, which results in the stunning views.

The house and the views were amazing! Gorgeous kitchen, high ceilings, and lots of outdoor porch space. And the host was very kind and helpful when needed.

We had a great family trip and everyone enjoyed the space. So many conversation and hang-out areas and enough room so all 9 or us felt like we had plenty of room to relax.The kitchen was impressive and having an "indoor grill" room was a real treat.The weather prevented us from hanging out in the lower areas as much as we might have liked but we enjoyed having so many options to hang out or have some quiet time when the weather permitted.We were very comfortable and appreciated having the upper fireplace as an option. It gave a very cozy vibe.Property management was responsive and quickly addressed getting a couple of issues (repairing vertical blinds and some tripped GFCI outlets.)We could not figure out how to turn on/off some of the exterior lights (tried every switch we could find) but it wasn't a major issue (didn't report this as it was not worth having someone come out to fix it.)The only thing that kept this from being a full 5 star review is that for the cost, we did expect things to be a little cleaner when we arrived. We spent the first couple of hours sweeping, knocking down some spiderwebs/cobwebs (inside and out -inside was the bigger issue) and scrubbing the grill as the last person that used it did not clean it. We know it can be difficult keeping a property in the woods clean, so we anticipated having to do some of that.We fully plan on visiting again in the future!
