This property was so well equipped, clean, and comfortable! We used the bikes, kayaks, and the fire pokers from the adventure shed and there was enough for all to enjoy. The hot tub and fire stove was used nightly! The kitchen had everything we needed! Great property and would highly recommend!

The house was great - it had everything we needed. There was plenty of space for our family plus my parents. Emily was a timely and helpful host. The house is remote and quiet, which we loved, but it was also close to Algoma, Sturgeon Bay and Potawatomi State Park. The kids LOVED being able to play in the lake and kayak. The hot tub and fire pit were nice perks. We saw tons of stars, gorgeous sunrises and amazing views of Lake Michigan. Highly recommend and would stay here again!

This was amazing! The accommodations were the best! We used the hot tub in the evenings, the bikes in the mornings, the kayaks both morning and evenings! We walked the dogs every day up the road. The lake view is amazing! Even our pups loved it. We want to go back!

We had such a good time staying at this lake house! The sand beach is close to the house, the hot tub was amazing (especially with fall weather upon us!), and the house was stocked with everything we needed - kid stuff, dog stuff, kitchen utensils and cooking supplies and oil and seasoning and coffee … they were certainly ready to host! The adventure shed had life vests and chalk and balls and more. Plenty to keep us busy. We could have never left during the week we stayed and been plenty happy. We hope to come back again in the future!

Clean, comfortable and beautiful property located on a peaceful dead end. We used the hot tub several times and it worked perfectly! The solo fire pit was great to gather around, bring yourself extra wood :) Just a few out the backdoor and you're down to the gorgeous shoreline of Lake Michigan. Thanks for an amazing trip, we will stay again in the future!

This vacation home has everything you need. Fully stocked with all the amenities you may need. Great hot tub, the beds were amazing and the view was stunning. Coffee Bar was a plus as well as the grill and indoor fireplace.

The house was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with dishes, bath towels (bring your own beach towels), board games and activities. The kids loved the kayaks and easy access to the beautiful pebble beach. Hot tub was a hit and the view of the lake (plus the sound of the waves) made for a relaxing stay. Grilling and chilling. Highly recommended!

Truly a refreshing place to stay! The host had everything so very thoughtfully ready, which made it feel relaxing & easy to settle in right away. The woodsy driveway in to the home, having beyond breathtaking beach barefoot steps away, and all of the generous amenities including the well kept and large hottubmakes this property a repeat stay and repeat again. The locals were all very friendly as well! There were several things to do or see not far at all from the property, however we did not want to leave much this 1st time with it being such a respite right at the home. Thank you for the memorable vacation!

Had an amazing time staying at the Milky Way property. Group of friends all enjoyed this beautiful place with an amazing view of Lake Michigan. Having a large hot tub and access to kayaks and firepit were some of the highlights we utilized during our stay. Place was well cared for and in great condition. Beds were very comfortable. Would definitely return to this property when we visit Door County again!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful lakefront home in Algoma. The house was clean, well-stocked, and incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived. The layout made it easy to settle in and relax, and the views of the lake were peaceful and serene, especially in the late winter when we had the whole beach to ourselves.The private beach, hot tub, and easy access to everything made it feel like a true getaway. We brought our senior golden retriever, who unfortunately only has weeks to months left, and it meant the world to us to watch him enjoy the quiet, run along the shore, and live his very best life here.This was the perfect spot to relax, reflect, and just enjoy being present. We are already looking forward to returning with our kids and extended family. Thank you for sharing such a special home, it gave us memories we will hold close forever. Also, check out Pizza Bowl, we enjoyed it and met some wonderful people from around town.

The house was comfortable, clean, and ideally-furnished for our group of six. The setting could not have been peaceful. We enjoyed the kayaks, fire pit--you name it. No issues whatsoever. I highly recommend this place!

Great place for chill family vacation. Nice modern house, clean bathrooms, open concept kitchen great room, screen porch. Sun, swim, kayak, bike, grill, firepit, chill. Loved it. Quiet and private away from NorDoor touristy stuff but all that is accessible in 20 - 30 minute drive. Everyone loved it. Dog friendly too! Sun swim

We stayed in Emily's house for a weekend getaway and the Door County Fall 50. It was absolutely perfect. The view and hot tub were amazing, and the house was beautiful and clean. I hope to return for a family getaway as well - it is perfect for adults only OR kids (swing, playhouse, private sand beach). Emily responded very quickly when I had a question. 10/10 recommend!

Milky Way was well stocked, clean, everything you’ll need for family vacation. Beautiful lakefront. Loved that they have combo coffee maker, cleaning supplies to tidy up. We didn’t have small children but everything you need if you do. Door county is so dog friendly every outing we went on, ( visited towns on the peninsula), had Pet friendly breweries/ restaurants and dog parks for Maisey to run and play on the way back to the house. Loved it !!!

Milky Way was well stocked, clean, everything you’ll need for family vacation. Beautiful lakefront. Loved that they have combo coffee maker, cleaning supplies to tidy up. We didn’t have small children but everything you need if you do. Door county is so dog friendly every outing we went on, ( visited towns on the peninsula), had Pet friendly breweries/ restaurants and dog parks for Maisey to run and play on the way back to the house. Loved it !!!

This was such an amazing stay! Highly recommend to any family, friend, or any type of stay. You can actually see the Milky Way in the night sky, the views were breathtaking and the photos don’t do it justice. It was nice every morning and evening popping open the sliding door and listening to the waves, they were surprisingly very loud. When all the doors and windows were closed, you couldn’t hear anything, very well insulated. We didn’t use the activity shed, but there are lots of options. The beach is nice with concrete steps down to it, the sandbar goes out about 100 yards or so. No cell phone service, but great wi-fi. Good way to unplug and get away. Great location near Sturgeon Bay, many scenic viewing locations.I would recommend making the 1.5 hour drive north to Washington Island, definitely an experience you don’t want to miss. Perfect location to visit the National Shrine in Champion.

We really enjoyed our stay at Milky Way Hideaway on our girls wknd. The hosts thought of everything. The house is completely updated, clean & well equipped for practically anything. They even had a towel warmer which we used when getting out of the hot tub! The attention to detail showed throughout. The view of Lake Michigan is gorgeous! We enjoyed the sun shining on the water in the morning & hearing the waves in the evening while in the hot tub. There were little extras like a filtered water pitcher in the refrigerator so we could have water, numerous boxes of Kleenex throughout, plenty of garbage bags & lots of paper towels. The location was great & we found ourselves getting to know Algoma on our adventures. It was a short drive to other destinations in Door County.

Overall this was a nice property for a quiet family getaway. The house is on the small side and outside is very average, but is nicely updated inside. Kitchen was very well stocked and the adventure shed was great for kids. Within 15 minutes of Sturgeon Bay. A bit higher priced based than other places we have stayed in or near Door County.

Beautiful views and place to stay !!!!

Had an amazing time staying at the Milky Way property. Group of friends all enjoyed this beautiful place with an amazing view of Lake Michigan. Having a large hot tub and access to kayaks and firepit were some of the highlights we utilized during our stay. Place was well cared for and in great condition. Beds were very comfortable. Would definitely return to this property when we visit Door County again!

The house was great - it had everything we needed. There was plenty of space for our family plus my parents. Emily was a timely and helpful host. The house is remote and quiet, which we loved, but it was also close to Algoma, Sturgeon Bay and Potawatomi State Park. The kids LOVED being able to play in the lake and kayak. The hot tub and fire pit were nice perks. We saw tons of stars, gorgeous sunrises and amazing views of Lake Michigan. Highly recommend and would stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Milky Way Hideaway on our girls wknd. The hosts thought of everything. The house is completely updated, clean & well equipped for practically anything. They even had a towel warmer which we used when getting out of the hot tub! The attention to detail showed throughout. The view of Lake Michigan is gorgeous! We enjoyed the sun shining on the water in the morning & hearing the waves in the evening while in the hot tub. There were little extras like a filtered water pitcher in the refrigerator so we could have water, numerous boxes of Kleenex throughout, plenty of garbage bags & lots of paper towels. The location was great & we found ourselves getting to know Algoma on our adventures. It was a short drive to other destinations in Door County.

This is a great property - very true to the pictures. The area has a few neighbors, but definitely feels private. The lake is in the backyard, and depending on the lake levels there is quite a bit of beach to walk on. The communication upon arrival was great and when we had a fire alarm issue they responded quickly and stayed in communication until the issue was resolved. A really peaceful vacation and would definitely stay here again.

Truly a refreshing place to stay! The host had everything so very thoughtfully ready, which made it feel relaxing & easy to settle in right away. The woodsy driveway in to the home, having beyond breathtaking beach barefoot steps away, and all of the generous amenities including the well kept and large hottubmakes this property a repeat stay and repeat again. The locals were all very friendly as well! There were several things to do or see not far at all from the property, however we did not want to leave much this 1st time with it being such a respite right at the home. Thank you for the memorable vacation!

My husband and I came to Door County for our honeymoon and the views were breathtaking. Within a short time being at the home, a large Bald Eagle came flying 40yards from the home, landed in the tree. It was such a cool thing to see! The hot tub was a plus to go in at night and see the sky light up from all the stars..Not something you can see in the city very well. All communication with Emily was quick and professional . We will be coming back in the future.

We stayed in Emily's house for a weekend getaway and the Door County Fall 50. It was absolutely perfect. The view and hot tub were amazing, and the house was beautiful and clean. I hope to return for a family getaway as well - it is perfect for adults only OR kids (swing, playhouse, private sand beach). Emily responded very quickly when I had a question. 10/10 recommend!

This was such an amazing stay! Highly recommend to any family, friend, or any type of stay. You can actually see the Milky Way in the night sky, the views were breathtaking and the photos don’t do it justice. It was nice every morning and evening popping open the sliding door and listening to the waves, they were surprisingly very loud. When all the doors and windows were closed, you couldn’t hear anything, very well insulated. We didn’t use the activity shed, but there are lots of options. The beach is nice with concrete steps down to it, the sandbar goes out about 100 yards or so. No cell phone service, but great wi-fi. Good way to unplug and get away. Great location near Sturgeon Bay, many scenic viewing locations.I would recommend making the 1.5 hour drive north to Washington Island, definitely an experience you don’t want to miss. Perfect location to visit the National Shrine in Champion.

Milky Way Hideaway was very accurately described. Its location could not have been better for quietude and peace. Being able to sit on the beach and watch the many waterfowl was amazing. This was our first time to Door County and this place was an excellent home base. We will definitely return.

Beautiful, quiet, clean, comfortable retreat. Gorgeous views of night sky. Easy access to Sturgeon Bay, Green Bay and Door County. We enjoyed the kayaks and beautiful outdoor spaces. So private!

The location is perfect, close enough to shops and restaurants, but secluded enough for the peacefulness we were looking for. Clean, comfortable and beautiful property located on a peaceful dead end. We used the hot tub several times and it worked perfectly! The solo fire pit was great to gather around, bring yourself extra wood :) Just a few out the backdoor and you're down to the gorgeous shoreline of Lake Michigan. Thanks for an amazing trip, we will stay again in the future!

Great place for chill family vacation. Nice modern house, clean bathrooms, open concept kitchen great room, screen porch. Sun, swim, kayak, bike, grill, firepit, chill. Loved it. Quiet and private away from NorDoor touristy stuff but all that is accessible in 20 - 30 minute drive. Everyone loved it. Dog friendly too! Sun swim

This property is beautiful. The location is south of Door county however the little town of Algoma didnt disappoint. Great for all ages to visit and the lake front property is beautiful. I would recommend this propery to anyone seeking a relaxing enjoyable vacation.

The stay at Milky Way was just what we were looking for. A two day getaway to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. We enjoyed some shopping, wine tasting, nice dinner. The place was very nice, right on the lake. Beautiful morning view. We would really consider coming back in the summer for outdoor activities. Thank you!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful lakefront home in Algoma. The house was clean, well-stocked, and incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived. The layout made it easy to settle in and relax, and the views of the lake were peaceful and serene, especially in the late winter when we had the whole beach to ourselves.The private beach, hot tub, and easy access to everything made it feel like a true getaway. We brought our senior golden retriever, who unfortunately only has weeks to months left, and it meant the world to us to watch him enjoy the quiet, run along the shore, and live his very best life here.This was the perfect spot to relax, reflect, and just enjoy being present. We are already looking forward to returning with our kids and extended family. Thank you for sharing such a special home, it gave us memories we will hold close forever. Also, check out Pizza Bowl, we enjoyed it and met some wonderful people from around town.

We had a nice family vacation here - we really enjoyed the view of Lake Michigan right outside our door with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We were often out on the large deck enjoying the weather and the view, and hearing the waves on the beach. The grandkids enjoyed the hot tub, and the adults enjoyed kayaking on the lake, with the convenient beach access. We liked the open kitchen-dining-living room with lots of light during the daytime from the skylights, and everything was on one floor. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking utensils, and having the laundry room was great. The host, Emily, was very responsive, which we appreciated.

Nice clean house on Lake Michigan. My only complaints where it was the season of the mayflies or Midges flies were in full breeding season so it was unpleasant to be in the back yard or anywhere outside near the water. And it would’ve been nice if there was some condiments in the refrigerator or pantry. Other than that, it was fine.

Other than the May Flies limiting us to the outdoors sadly, the rest was very good, as expected. Was thankful for the Cribbage Board that was there since we forgot ours. The area was very nice, lots of good food, only downfall is unable to utilize the outdoor activities.

We returned to one of our favorite getaway spots! It was just as fabulous as our first visit. We love exploring for rocks on the beach, long walks, the hot tub, game night, as a whole family.
