We enjoyed family fun with the fantastic pool and backyard area. The interior is a beautifully restored historical property with an abundance of charm. We were pleased to find that the reviews were spot on and we thank the owners for allowing us to stay at their property.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Stauffer House And enjoyed every moment in this beautiful home and grounds. We rented the home and cottage as 3 families attending a lacrosse tournament and thoroughly enjoyed every inch of the property from the main home and house pond, balcony, to the pool, separate cottage, and beautiful landscaping. We will certainly return to this well appointed home! Better than advertised!!!

Home was neat and clean. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay as we were in town for a wedding. Plenty of room for a large family, the pool was a big hit. Cody was an excellent host!

Excellent stay at The Stauffer House! Host and house were both fantastic!! The house was immaculate - it was so welcoming and had all the amenities you'd need. Kitchen had everything you could need. Lots of blankets/pillows. Comfy sitting rooms. This was a beautiful historic home that has been perfectly renovated with all the modern touches you need - it is a perfect balance of old/new! We had one tiny problem with the shower curtain rod in the carriage house and Cody was easy to reach. Anthony showed up so quickly on a Friday evening to fix it and was friendly and fantastic. We had a group of 7 - ages 6 to 80. The house was conveniently located to all the Hershey attractions and close enough to visit in the morning, come back to the house in the afternoon and go back to the parks at night. Kitchen was well stocked and the dining room table was huge and the perfect gathering spot. We went when the pool was closed, but I'm sure it's also amazing in the summer.It was easy to have Instacart delivered and lots of food options nearby. Parking was easy and very convenient. Perfect place for our family celebration!

We were in town for a family wedding. The house is very pretty with 3 different sitting areas, a large table for family meals and a nice, fully equipped kitchen with lots of storage for our groceries. They even had a baskey of toys for the kids. The backyard is lovely, I wish it hadn't been raining so we could have enjoyed it more. There are 4 bedrooms on the top floor but one of the rooms can only be accessed by passing through another bedroom so not great for anyone needing privacy. The house is on a busy road. There is plenty of parking and space to turn around the cars. The lights from the gas station across the street were bright in the front bedroom at night, but an eye mask took care of that problem. The grandparents stayed in the "Barn Shop" which is lovely but it should be noted the bathroom in the barn has an open ceiling so it isn't super private. The historic home has been beautifully restored and we would love to stay here again.

We had an awesome stay! The grounds are amazing! The kids were outside from early morning & into the night, enjoying the pool, s’mores by the fire pit and games in the yard! With the perfect outdoor table to serve buffet & 3 additional tables for seating we ate most of our meals by the pool. The kids also enjoyed the awesome game room in the basement! The rides at Hershey Park and Mt. Gretna Lake & Beach, the playground and the amazing ice cream concoctions at the Jigger Shop…are all only a short 10-15 minute drive! The house & cottage are charming & had plenty of room for all 15 of us ( we brought 3 cots for the youngest kids). It was well stocked with everything from pool towels & rafts to kitchen appliances, dinnerware & comfortable beds & linens. They even had a basket of goodies on the counter when we arrived! Cody was attentive to our every need & quick to respond every time we had a question or concern! The only inconvenience was that in two of the bedrooms you had to walk through a bedroom to get to the bathroom or walk downstairs. I highly recommend Stauffer House!

For those of you who love old homes, this is a very nice opportunity. We comfortably had our family of 12 along with a little one in a “pack & play.” The carriage house makes for a great space for people who want to be away from the rest of the guests. We were doing Hershey Park and this was a fantastic location. It is an easy 15 minutes to the park. The entire home has been meticulously upkept. I can’t imagine the amount of work it took and takes. But as I said, for those who love older homes, this 1848 gem is wonderful to enjoy. The pool area is clean and relaxing. Plenty of pool things and some corn hole boards. The shade from the trees around make the pool even more inviting when it is really hot! The yard is fenced and you feel like you are in your own little world. I especially enjoyed the layout of the landscaping and gardening. They have kep some older oak trees and a beautiful American Beech. Very nice. The host, Cody, is very responsive and knowledgable. The only thing that some guests may not be keen on is that there are 4 bedrooms upstairs but only one bathroom. Some of the bedrooms have access through other bedrooms, so you may have to go around another way if you don’t want to disturb someone in bed. For a family, this isn’t a big deal, but some guests might thing it is important. Honestly, it is amazing that this home has been retrofitted with three bathrooms to begin with—so it was well worth any inconvenience. I would rent this home again!

There are articles hanging around the house explaining the home’s history, so if you’re a history buff or just like old homes, this is the one for you. It has plenty of room and is close to Hershey Park and Chocolate World. Do not hesitate to book. Highly recommend.

This house is absolutely beautiful..love how it has been restored and maintained with modern anemities but still has the historical feel. Lots of space and the most well stocked place we have ever stayed! Tons of towels, dishes, cookware..EVERYTHING we needed! The carraige house is equally adorable and we appreciated the extra space for our group. Beautiful grounds as well..love that its all fenced in for the kids and for privacy! Cannot say enough good things about this property..we hope to stay again!

This house was perfect . Plenty of space for our family including 6 grandchildren . The outdoor space was really nice . The kids enjoyed the pool (plenty of pool toys and towels provided) . There is also plenty of seating around the pool to enjoy a drink or a meal . There is also a large grassy years where we had so much fun playing wiffle ball. The house is so well equipped with everything you might need . One last thing the owner is very responsive !!! We can’t wait to come back again !!

Beautiful historic home with all of the amenities. We are two families with 8-14 year olds. Very comfortable beds, lots of space, cool historic features, clean pool. Owner is very responsive, provided snacks, delivered extra linens. We had a great time!

Three day getaway with 9 adults ranging from 19-59. The house was perfect for us. Very clean, spacious and convenient to Ren Faire and Hershey. We had a blast and would rent here again. The host was easy to communicate with and very responsive.

We only were able to stay 3 days and 2 nights but I immediately fell in love with this home. I kept saying, “ I wish I could move it to our farm” in Georgia. It was tidy & accommodating in every aspect. We couldn’t find an iron for our wrinkled clothing but maybe somehow we missed it somewhere. The home is huge. Only down side was the noisy traffic out front but the host was very accommodating to our late check out needs.

This is a gorgeous, historical property with beautiful grounds. The landscaping is gorgeous and the backyard is magical! The extra large dining room table and open kitchen floor plan were perfect for our family graduation celebration. Our entire family sincerely appreciates the opportunity to experience this special home.

We had one tiny problem with the shower curtain rod in the carriage house and Cody was easy to reach. Anthony showed up so quickly on a Friday evening to fix it and was friendly and fantastic. We had a group of 7 - ages 6 to 80. The house was conveniently located to all the Hershey attractions and close enough to visit in the morning, come back to the house in the afternoon and go back to the parks at night. Kitchen was well stocked and the dining room table was huge and the perfect gathering spot. We went when the pool was closed, but I'm sure it's also amazing in the summer.It was easy to have Instacart delivered and lots of food options nearby. Parking was easy and very convenient. Perfect place for our family celebration!

We were in town for a family wedding. The house is very pretty with 3 different sitting areas, a large table for family meals and a nice, fully equipped kitchen with lots of storage for our groceries. They even had a baskey of toys for the kids. The backyard is lovely, I wish it hadn't been raining so we could have enjoyed it more. There are 4 bedrooms on the top floor but one of the rooms can only be accessed by passing through another bedroom so not great for anyone needing privacy. The house is on a busy road. There is plenty of parking and space to turn around the cars. The lights from the gas station across the street were bright in the front bedroom at night, but an eye mask took care of that problem. The grandparents stayed in the "Barn Shop" which is lovely but it should be noted the bathroom in the barn has an open ceiling so it isn't super private. The historic home has been beautifully restored and we would love to stay here again.

We had an amazing time at Stauffer House. The house is beautiful just like the pictures on VRBO the house had everything we needed, towels, washcloths, plenty of dishes, silverware, glasses and coffee mugs; there was even infant plates, bowls and utensils. Plenty of pots and pans and even serving dishes. The house is simply outfitted with anything you may need. We had an amazing family weekend and hope to stay at Stauffer House next year when we head to Hershey.

For those of you who love old homes, this is a very nice opportunity. We comfortably had our family of 12 along with a little one in a “pack & play.” The carriage house makes for a great space for people who want to be away from the rest of the guests. We were doing Hershey Park and this was a fantastic location. It is an easy 15 minutes to the park. The entire home has been meticulously upkept. I can’t imagine the amount of work it took and takes. But as I said, for those who love older homes, this 1848 gem is wonderful to enjoy. The pool area is clean and relaxing. Plenty of pool things and some corn hole boards. The shade from the trees around make the pool even more inviting when it is really hot! The yard is fenced and you feel like you are in your own little world. I especially enjoyed the layout of the landscaping and gardening. They have kep some older oak trees and a beautiful American Beech. Very nice. The host, Cody, is very responsive and knowledgable. The only thing that some guests may not be keen on is that there are 4 bedrooms upstairs but only one bathroom. Some of the bedrooms have access through other bedrooms, so you may have to go around another way if you don’t want to disturb someone in bed. For a family, this isn’t a big deal, but some guests might thing it is important. Honestly, it is amazing that this home has been retrofitted with three bathrooms to begin with—so it was well worth any inconvenience. I would rent this home again!

Three day getaway with 9 adults ranging from 19-59. The house was perfect for us. Very clean, spacious and convenient to Ren Faire and Hershey. We had a blast and would rent here again. The host was easy to communicate with and very responsive.

This house was perfect . Plenty of space for our family including 6 grandchildren . The outdoor space was really nice . The kids enjoyed the pool (plenty of pool toys and towels provided) . There is also plenty of seating around the pool to enjoy a drink or a meal . There is also a large grassy years where we had so much fun playing wiffle ball. The house is so well equipped with everything you might need . One last thing the owner is very responsive !!! We can’t wait to come back again !!

We only were able to stay 3 days and 2 nights but I immediately fell in love with this home. I kept saying, “ I wish I could move it to our farm” in Georgia. It was tidy & accommodating in every aspect. We couldn’t find an iron for our wrinkled clothing but maybe somehow we missed it somewhere. The home is huge. Only down side was the noisy traffic out front but the host was very accommodating to our late check out needs.

Home was neat and clean. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay as we were in town for a wedding. Plenty of room for a large family, the pool was a big hit. Cody was an excellent host!

Excellent stay at The Stauffer House! Host and house were both fantastic!! The house was immaculate - it was so welcoming and had all the amenities you'd need. Kitchen had everything you could need. We had an awesome stay! The grounds are amazing! The kids were outside from early morning & into the night, enjoying the pool, s’mores by the fire pit and games in the yard! With the perfect outdoor table to serve buffet & 3 additional tables for seating we ate most of our meals by the pool. The kids also enjoyed the awesome game room in the basement! The rides at Hershey Park and Mt. Gretna Lake & Beach, the playground and the amazing ice cream concoctions at the Jigger Shop…are all only a short 10-15 minute drive! The house & cottage are charming & had plenty of room for all 15 of us ( we brought 3 cots for the youngest kids). It was well stocked with everything from pool towels & rafts to kitchen appliances, dinnerware & comfortable beds & linens. They even had a basket of goodies on the counter when we arrived! Cody was attentive to our every need & quick to respond every time we had a question or concern! The only inconvenience was that in two of the bedrooms you had to walk through a bedroom to get to the bathroom or walk downstairs. I highly recommend Stauffer House!

We enjoyed our time at the home in December. Hershey is just down the street with plenty of places to eat. We would stay here again. 6 adults, 2 youngsters and 2 babes. Owners excellent to work with.

We were doing Hershey Park and this was a fantastic location. It is an easy 15 minutes to the park. The entire home has been meticulously upkept. I can’t imagine the amount of work it took and takes. But as I said, for those who love older homes, this 1848 gem is wonderful to enjoy. The pool area is clean and relaxing. Plenty of pool things and some corn hole boards. The shade from the trees around make the pool even more inviting when it is really hot! The yard is fenced and you feel like you are in your own little world. I especially enjoyed the layout of the landscaping and gardening. They have kep some older oak trees and a beautiful American Beech. Very nice. The host, Cody, is very responsive and knowledgable. The only thing that some guests may not be keen on is that there are 4 bedrooms upstairs but only one bathroom. Some of the bedrooms have access through other bedrooms, so you may have to go around another way if you don’t want to disturb someone in bed. For a family, this isn’t a big deal, but some guests might thing it is important. Honestly, it is amazing that this home has been retrofitted with three bathrooms to begin with—so it was well worth any inconvenience. I would rent this home again!

A group of us stayed for a dance competition being held at the Hershey Lodge. The house was great. Big enough for all of us. We were 7 people total. The property is beautiful and this historic home is so interesting to be in. We would stay there again if we needed to.

I stayed with my family at The Stauffer House. It was clean with many amenities. We had a great time out by the pool during the day or the fire in the evening. There are articles hanging around the house explaining the home’s history, so if you’re a history buff or just like old homes, this is the one for you. It has plenty of room and is close to Hershey Park and Chocolate World. Do not hesitate to book. Highly recommend.

Three day getaway with 9 adults ranging from 19-59. The house was perfect for us. Very clean, spacious and convenient to Ren Faire and Hershey. We had a blast and would rent here again. The host was easy to communicate with and very responsive.

We enjoyed our time at the home in December. Hershey is just down the street with plenty of places to eat. We would stay here again. 6 adults, 2 youngsters and 2 babes. Owners excellent to work with.

We only were able to stay 3 days and 2 nights but I immediately fell in love with this home. I kept saying, “ I wish I could move it to our farm” in Georgia. It was tidy & accommodating in every aspect. We couldn’t find an iron for our wrinkled clothing but maybe somehow we missed it somewhere. The home is huge. Only down side was the noisy traffic out front but the host was very accommodating to our late check out needs.

Great short-term place for a large family to visit Hershey, PA. Beautiful, historic home with comfortable beds and bedding, plenty of parking, and at a reasonable price versus the cost of 3-4 hotel rooms. Outdoor landscaping is beautiful with pool and lots of loungers, tables, chairs and umbrellas. Our host was quick to reply to all questions. Can't go wrong by renting this one-of-a-kind property.

Excellent stay at The Stauffer House! Host and house were both fantastic!! The house was immaculate - it was so welcoming and had all the amenities you'd need. Kitchen had everything you could need. Lots of blankets/pillows. Comfy sitting rooms. This was a beautiful historic home that has been perfectly renovated with all the modern touches you need - it is a perfect balance of old/new! We had one tiny problem with the shower curtain rod in the carriage house and Cody was easy to reach. Anthony showed up so quickly on a Friday evening to fix it and was friendly and fantastic. We had a group of 7 - ages 6 to 80. The house was conveniently located to all the Hershey attractions and close enough to visit in the morning, come back to the house in the afternoon and go back to the parks at night. Kitchen was well stocked and the dining room table was huge and the perfect gathering spot. We went when the pool was closed, but I'm sure it's also amazing in the summer.It was easy to have Instacart delivered and lots of food options nearby. Parking was easy and very convenient. Perfect place for our family celebration!
