We had a great time at the cabin! It is very convenient to Summersville Lake and a short and easy drive to New River Gorge. The cabin was clean, quiet, and peaceful with all needed amenities for our stay. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!

I realize this is a cabin in the woods and things happen. Like the ants in the kitchen and equipment failure (like the microwave that sparked if you tried to use it). But the property itself lacked care: rotted wood on porch unkempt landscaping, broken slat in window blind. I did appreciate the washer and dryer after five days there, though. Tyler was prompt in responding to my issues but there was little he could do other than alert his staff.

This cabin was just as pictured. Very clean and welcoming. Brought my wife up here for our honeymoon and she loved it. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook with. It was a very honey feel and we both hated to leave. Definitely would come back! Highly recommend!

The cabin was as described on VRBO…”Sweet as Honey”. It was very quaint and cozy, and the location was close to an old friend. The area was absolutely gorgeous and we found many things to see and do. Only one small glitch, work was being done down the street and the workers hit a water line and we lost water twice for a very short time. Other than that, we definitely enjoyed ourselves and the cabin.

We picked this cabin for a 4 night getaway. We wanted something a little secluded. This location was perfect, you are far enough away from everything, but also it's not to far of a drive to get to stores or restaurants. The wild life was a plus too. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We found the washer/dryer very helpful, as we spent each day hiking and it was nice to be able to wash our clothing. Fast internet and good smart TV's.

The first thing you see when you enter through the door, which has a keypad, so much better than a key, is the bathroom with a washer and dryer. The shower is small, but if you’ve ever been to Europe, you’ll know how to navigate it. The rest of the unit is just as you see in the photos. The kitchen is well stocked. I appreciated the Keurig cups. Pots and pans are supplied, as well as some cooking utensils. Be ready for a daily visit from the chickens who live across the street. The rooster acts as an alarm clock but really didn’t bother me. We woke up one morning to no water. Never had that happen before. I was able to reach Tyler, who contacted the water company and it resolved pretty quickly. The location is good. You’re only 20 minutes from The New River Gorge National Park and Preserve. Beautiful spot to see the famous arch bridge. If you’re a kayaker or rafter you’ll be close enough to the Gauley Dam for lots of water adventure and hiking. If you’re looking for a quiet place with lots of outdoor activities close by, this is the place for you.

Our family loved our stay here, cabin was very clean and neat and perfect for our family of 3. We couldn't have asked for a better place to unwind after a day's activities. When we come back to the area we will definitely book again!

The cabin needs some maintenance and better lighting.Cleanliness was marginal. It was quiet and quaint particularly with the neighbors chickens coming up on the porch. If you like kayaking or canoeing on Summerville Lake don't do it on a weekend. I have never seen so many boats and trailers and trucks and cars in my life at any one lake. Very disappointing if you are looking for a place to get away from the maddening crowds.

We came down for a long weekend to relax and get some hiking in. The cabin is located close to lots of places to hike and enjoy nature. We also enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the chickens who visited from across the road. We would like to come back when we visit the area again.

This property had everything we needed to make our stay great. The owner was very responsive & answered any questions we had quickly. The cabin was very clean. The checking in & out process was very easy. The cabins location gave us easy access to visit New River Gorge National Park, Summersville Lake & Dam, Babcock State Park, Hawks Nest State Park, zip lining, kayaking, hiking, local restaurants, shops, breweries, the Kirkwood Winery and many other activities. I would definitely recommend this cabin to others.

This cabin is so cute and cozy. We stayed there right after a snow storm and it was so beautiful. The fireplace was great and location is fantastic. There are a couple other cabins nearby, but it’s still so quiet and peaceful. The host is very responsive. My only issue was there wasn’t enough hot water for both of us to take showers, so only one of us could shower in a day. Other than that, everything was great!

The cabins location gave us easy access to visit New River Gorge National Park, Summersville Lake & Dam, Babcock State Park, Hawks Nest State Park, zip lining, kayaking, hiking, local restaurants, shops, breweries, the Kirkwood Winery and many other activities. I would definitely recommend this cabin to others.
This property had everything we needed to make our stay great. The owner was very responsive & answered any questions we had quickly. The cabin was very clean. The checking in & out process was very easy. The cabins location gave us easy access to visit New River Gorge National Park, Summersville Lake & Dam, Babcock State Park, Hawks Nest State Park, zip lining, kayaking, hiking, local restaurants, shops, breweries, the Kirkwood Winery and many other activities. I would definitely recommend this cabin to others.

What a great little getaway! We had a great time & everything was as described. Perfect location & we had everything we needed or wanted to do within 10 minute drive. Definitely will be booking here again.

This is a great place to stay. It is centralized so day trips from here work well. It is "secluded" in the sense that it is "out of the way". There are neighbors but it is a quiet and peaceful location. We truly enjoyed our time there. The only reason we did not give a 5 star review is that the property needs some finishing work and upgrades. But, not a big deal for most people. We WOULD recommend staying here.

We picked this cabin for a 4 night getaway. We wanted something a little secluded. This location was perfect, you are far enough away from everything, but also it's not to far of a drive to get to stores or restaurants. The wild life was a plus too. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We found the washer/dryer very helpful, as we spent each day hiking and it was nice to be able to wash our clothing. Fast internet and good smart TV's.

Great location to see all the sights at NRG. The lighting was a little dark, especially in the bathroom, but a minor inconvenience. Otherwise clean, well stocked, and cozy!

The first thing you see when you enter through the door, which has a keypad, so much better than a key, is the bathroom with a washer and dryer. The shower is small, but if you’ve ever been to Europe, you’ll know how to navigate it. The rest of the unit is just as you see in the photos. The kitchen is well stocked. I appreciated the Keurig cups. Pots and pans are supplied, as well as some cooking utensils. Be ready for a daily visit from the chickens who live across the street. The rooster acts as an alarm clock but really didn’t bother me. We woke up one morning to no water. Never had that happen before. I was able to reach Tyler, who contacted the water company and it resolved pretty quickly. The location is good. You’re only 20 minutes from The New River Gorge National Park and Preserve. Beautiful spot to see the famous arch bridge. If you’re a kayaker or rafter you’ll be close enough to the Gauley Dam for lots of water adventure and hiking. If you’re looking for a quiet place with lots of outdoor activities close by, this is the place for you.

I realize this is a cabin in the woods and things happen. Like the ants in the kitchen and equipment failure (like the microwave that sparked if you tried to use it). But the property itself lacked care: rotted wood on porch unkempt landscaping, broken slat in window blind. I did appreciate the washer and dryer after five days there, though. Tyler was prompt in responding to my issues but there was little he could do other than alert his staff.
