Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful girls get away on SJI and the house was absolutely perfect for our needs. It was clean, well appointed and incredible views. There was soooo much space, especially with the back room, although we never found ourselves there because we couldn’t pass up the view in the front. We were lucky with incredible weather and the only thing that would have been nice would be some nicer, more comfortable seating on the deck. But otherwise, just perfect.

We loved it! Large kitchen with lighted pantry was well appointed. Only issue with kitchen was lack large coffee mugs, so we bought 4 on sale at the drugstore. The house is gorgeous, but...the dusty fake plants have got to go. The downstairs bathroom was smelling funky... perhaps septic system related. The throws, books and DVDs were great. We used the fireplace 2 nights and loved it. The hot tube was great. Saw eagles every day (perched on a tree in the yard) and humpback whales one morning. The dining room table was perfect for jig saw puzzle work...with room for 6 to eat dinner. Beds were super...we all slept very well. New pillows would be welcomed. Large spacious home was near perfect. Thank you for letting us stay!

We recently stayed at the property and it definitely had an excellent location, but unfortunately, the services provided were not up to par. To start with, there was no shampoo provided, for a rental this price this seems like a basic toiletry to have provided, which was quite disappointing as it's a standard amenity that we would expect from any rental property. Another major issue was that the fireplace was broken, and despite the management were aware of it before our arrival, they were unable to resolve the problem during our stay. They made no attempt to rectify the situation afterwards and our request for any reasonable restitution were rejected by the owner. This was a letdown, as we did not feel respected as guests. This lack of customer service was disheartening, and it left us feeling dissatisfied with our overall experience. The communication with the management company was also not good. Their responses were slow and all the answers we got were a straight no. Don’t expect to check out later than 10am. They wouldn’t even try if it’s not for their convenience. Despite the prime location of the rental, we cannot recommend this property due to the inadequate services provided and the lack of effort made by the management to address the issues. Overall, it’s a very unwelcoming stay. We were very disappointed.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This beautiful home has a gorgeous view of the water. It is close to Roche Harbor & about 25 minutes from Friday Harbor. You definitely need a car to get around the island. The home is not exactly as pictured & does need some updating (i.e. Painting & touch ups. Kitchen needs updating as well) Loved the layout. The beds were comfortable. I was disappointed that they did not provide any coffee (1 pkg would have been nice to have for our 1st morning stay, before going out) Also they did not provide any body wash or shampoo (most rentals do include this) Please note that water is limited & you are asked to limit showers to 1 daily & only fill the washer 1/4 full. The washer needs to be updated to a water saving model to help w/ water issue & accommodate larger loads; especially since you request that renters start a wash of towels prior to leaving (we could only wash a few at a time, so I did 2 loads). The living room & dining areas have the most beautiful view. The only thing missing was a gas or electric fireplace that was useable. Overall the home is very comfortable, peaceful & relaxing & we enjoyed our stay.

Ww had a great stay here. The home was very spacious and comfortable for our all adult family of 7. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck and enjoying the view. Kitchen was well equipped too. The two main negatives we observed were firstly the amount of boat and plane traffic (right near to airport) that you get at this place. It wasn't a huge deal, but did take away from the peacefulness and remoteness you may have expected on the back deck. Secondly was just the sheer volume of rule postings and signs throughout the entire home. There were rules everywhere you looked. Even in the showers. We didn't even have a pet with us, but the pet rules were posted through the house at least 5 times and even in the bedrooms. They ranged from small one-rule signs to full page lists of rules. We get that they want to protect the home and want guests to treat everything as though it were their own home, but it was just over the top and made the home feel almost unwelcoming. It would be nice if they could simplify and/or condense the rules so they aren't so pervasive. Overall a wonderful stay, would just love to see the rule postings modified.

Reviewer Comments: We had the most relaxing time staying here at the sunrise and sunset home, the view across speiden channel was just perfect, we had deer visit us daily below the deck and an eagle came and landed in the tree's right in front of the deck on the property, The Jacuzzi was an added bonus as we were able to sit and soak and enjoy the view, there is almost 100 % privacy and as no one was next door we didnt have to worry about being watched, The only thing we would change is the wicker table on the deck, it has seen better days and couldnt hold a drink as the wicker sags and the cup will fall, other than that this home gat 10's all around

It was ridiculously large for our family of 5 (parents + 3 adult "kids" because we all wanted to hang out in the same living space and we literally never went into the HUGE family room on the back side of the house. The house furnishings and finishes were pretty outdated but the stunning view made up for that! And be aware that the fourth bedroom is actually a loft at the top of the back staircase and does not have a door. That worked out fine for us, especially since no one used the family room, but it might be disconcerting to some.

Great beds, linens, and well-stocked kitchen.The one complaint is that the 2nd floor bedrooms have skylights - the bedroom with queen has a sheer window covering and the skylight in the kid room with 3 twin beds has no cover so it's really light in the rooms until late in summer eve and early in mornings. bring stick-on window shades!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we were very satisfied with the home. It was ridiculously large for our family of 5 (parents + 3 adult "kids" because we all wanted to hang out in the same living space and we literally never went into the HUGE family room on the back side of the house. The house furnishings and finishes were pretty outdated but the stunning view made up for that! And be aware that the fourth bedroom is actually a loft at the top of the back staircase and does not have a door. That worked out fine for us, especially since no one used the family room, but it might be disconcerting to some.

Perfect property for our group. Beautiful view. Quiet and peaceful. Great area for walking. Loved the layout of the house. We have stayed in several rentals on San Juan and this was one of our favorites.

Ww had a great stay here. The home was very spacious and comfortable for our all adult family of 7. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck and enjoying the view. Kitchen was well equipped too. The two main negatives we observed were firstly the amount of boat and plane traffic (right near to airport) that you get at this place. It wasn't a huge deal, but did take away from the peacefulness and remoteness you may have expected on the back deck. Secondly was just the sheer volume of rule postings and signs throughout the entire home. There were rules everywhere you looked. Even in the showers. We didn't even have a pet with us, but the pet rules were posted through the house at least 5 times and even in the bedrooms. They ranged from small one-rule signs to full page lists of rules. We get that they want to protect the home and want guests to treat everything as though it were their own home, but it was just over the top and made the home feel almost unwelcoming. It would be nice if they could simplify and/or condense the rules so they aren't so pervasive. Overall a wonderful stay, would just love to see the rule postings modified.

The house has a great layout for our group of five. The location near Roche Harbor was magnificent. We saw all kinds of wildlife from the deck. The home was clean upon arrival and the decor is warm and inviting. The mattresses on the main level beds are very firm. Great for those that prefer that, although I prefer a somewhat softer mattress myself. We ate most of our meals out since our visit was so quick, so we didn't use any of the kitchen appliances, other than the fridge and coffee maker. We would definitely stay here again.

We recently stayed at the property and it definitely had an excellent location, but unfortunately, the services provided were not up to par. To start with, there was no shampoo provided, for a rental this price this seems like a basic toiletry to have provided, which was quite disappointing as it's a standard amenity that we would expect from any rental property. Another major issue was that the fireplace was broken, and despite the management were aware of it before our arrival, they were unable to resolve the problem during our stay. They made no attempt to rectify the situation afterwards and our request for any reasonable restitution were rejected by the owner. This was a letdown, as we did not feel respected as guests. This lack of customer service was disheartening, and it left us feeling dissatisfied with our overall experience. The communication with the management company was also not good. Their responses were slow and all the answers we got were a straight no. Don’t expect to check out later than 10am. They wouldn’t even try if it’s not for their convenience. Despite the prime location of the rental, we cannot recommend this property due to the inadequate services provided and the lack of effort made by the management to address the issues. Overall, it’s a very unwelcoming stay. We were very disappointed.

We are a group of 8 women that try to get together for a weekend of reconnecting a couple times a year. This was a perfect property for us. It’s clean, roomy and comfortable for a group our size. The view is spectacular which adds to the enjoyment of staying here. I would definitely go back as well as recommend it to others. We all appreciated the short check out task list.

Reviewer Comments: We had the most relaxing time staying here at the sunrise and sunset home, the view across speiden channel was just perfect, we had deer visit us daily below the deck and an eagle came and landed in the tree's right in front of the deck on the property, The Jacuzzi was an added bonus as we were able to sit and soak and enjoy the view, there is almost 100 % privacy and as no one was next door we didnt have to worry about being watched, The only thing we would change is the wicker table on the deck, it has seen better days and couldnt hold a drink as the wicker sags and the cup will fall, other than that this home gat 10's all around

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This beautiful home has a gorgeous view of the water. It is close to Roche Harbor & about 25 minutes from Friday Harbor. You definitely need a car to get around the island. The home is not exactly as pictured & does need some updating (i.e. Painting & touch ups. Kitchen needs updating as well) Loved the layout. The beds were comfortable. I was disappointed that they did not provide any coffee (1 pkg would have been nice to have for our 1st morning stay, before going out) Also they did not provide any body wash or shampoo (most rentals do include this) Please note that water is limited & you are asked to limit showers to 1 daily & only fill the washer 1/4 full. The washer needs to be updated to a water saving model to help w/ water issue & accommodate larger loads; especially since you request that renters start a wash of towels prior to leaving (we could only wash a few at a time, so I did 2 loads). The living room & dining areas have the most beautiful view. The only thing missing was a gas or electric fireplace that was useable. Overall the home is very comfortable, peaceful & relaxing & we enjoyed our stay.

We didn't even have a pet with us, but the pet rules were posted through the house at least 5 times and even in the bedrooms. They ranged from small one-rule signs to full page lists of rules. We get that they want to protect the home and want guests to treat everything as though it were their own home, but it was just over the top and made the home feel almost unwelcoming. It would be nice if they could simplify and/or condense the rules so they aren't so pervasive. Overall a wonderful stay, would just love to see the rule postings modified.
Ww had a great stay here. The home was very spacious and comfortable for our all adult family of 7. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck and enjoying the view. Kitchen was well equipped too. The two main negatives we observed were firstly the amount of boat and plane traffic (right near to airport) that you get at this place. It wasn't a huge deal, but did take away from the peacefulness and remoteness you may have expected on the back deck. Secondly was just the sheer volume of rule postings and signs throughout the entire home. There were rules everywhere you looked. Even in the showers. We didn't even have a pet with us, but the pet rules were posted through the house at least 5 times and even in the bedrooms. They ranged from small one-rule signs to full page lists of rules. We get that they want to protect the home and want guests to treat everything as though it were their own home, but it was just over the top and made the home feel almost unwelcoming. We loved it! Large kitchen with lighted pantry was well appointed. Only issue with kitchen was lack large coffee mugs, so we bought 4 on sale at the drugstore. The house is gorgeous, but...the dusty fake plants have got to go. The downstairs bathroom was smelling funky... perhaps septic system related. The throws, books and DVDs were great. We used the fireplace 2 nights and loved it. The hot tube was great. Saw eagles every day (perched on a tree in the yard) and humpback whales one morning. The dining room table was perfect for jig saw puzzle work...with room for 6 to eat dinner. Beds were super...we all slept very well. New pillows would be welcomed. Large spacious home was near perfect. Thank you for letting us stay!

Overall experience was very good. We enjoyed the stay. We cooked a couple of dinners and breakfasts at the house. Everything works but could used some new frying pans and pillows. Other than that had a very memorable weekend!

You definitely need a car to get around the island. The home is not exactly as pictured & does need some updating (i.e. Painting & touch ups. Kitchen needs updating as well) Loved the layout. The beds were comfortable. I was disappointed that they did not provide any coffee (1 pkg would have been nice to have for our 1st morning stay, before going out) Also they did not provide any body wash or shampoo (most rentals do include this) Please note that water is limited & you are asked to limit showers to 1 daily & only fill the washer 1/4 full. The washer needs to be updated to a water saving model to help w/ water issue & accommodate larger loads; especially since you request that renters start a wash of towels prior to leaving (we could only wash a few at a time, so I did 2 loads). The living room & dining areas have the most beautiful view. The only thing missing was a gas or electric fireplace that was useable. Overall the home is very comfortable, peaceful & relaxing & we enjoyed our stay.

We would stay again in a heartbeat. Such a beautiful and homey house. Plenty of space for 8 adults (all family). We saw Harbor Porpoises, seals and bald eagles from the deck.
