Nice Quiet Rustic Setting

Wonderful spot, excellent for kids and adults alike.

We had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the hot tub. The neighborhood is very nice. There is a small farm down the road. They have a farm stand that sells fresh eggs and other items. We stayed here to donsome cli

First and hopefully last time staying in a Home Sweet Hudson property. Check-in code didn’t work, but not to worry the back screen door was unlocked. Home was not very clean. It’s a farmhouse, not the lap of luxury, but the floors and surfaces needed a better cleaning job. It was surprising to see a sign in the kitchen encouraging guests to remove their shoes, when the floor was nowhere near clean enough for that. There was a plumbing issue with the downstairs bathroom so we avoided it. The yard was poorly maintained, over a week of growth in the lawn, weeds everywhere. The firepit was a poorly thought out setup. One plus of this house is the hot tub, and without that this stay would have been a total loss. This property did not meet our expectations as a vacation destination.

This is our second time around, and we loved it just as much. The place feels isolated and welcoming, cosy yet large enough to breathe and relax. Accord is also lovely, with plenty of restaurants and little antiques stores to keep us busy. This time around it rained most of the time, so no hiking for us, but the hot tub made up for that ;)
