A wonderful experience! We traveled with adults and 4 young kids and this house was very accommodating. It was extremely clean and well maintained! The hosts have thoughtful touches throughout the home including fans in each room, extra blankets, charging ports throughout, plenty of towels, a fully equipped and great functioning kitchen, comfortable beds, blinds in bedroom windows, fast wifi and smart TVs. The kids enjoyed swimming around the pier and fishing from the provided canoes. They loved the bunk beds! We highly recommend this property.

We had an amazing stay. This home's furnishings and decor made our stay feel like we were truly in the North woods. Plenty of spaces for us all to gather together or in small groups. We especially loved the sunroom in the mornings, fire pit in the evenings, game room and movie room on a rainy afternoon. Beds are super comfy. Kitchen is very well stocked. We wanted for nothing that wasn't supplied.Communication with Ben was easy with quick replies. Highly recommend. Everyone who stayed gives this place 5 stars.

This property checked all of the boxes plus some. We wanted to rent a place that had plenty of room for us and our three adult children and their families. This had separate spaces for everyone needed with small children, and the huge living room and nice sized kitchen were perfect for our group. We enjoyed the fishing, kayaking, canoes, having fires in the fire pit, played bags in the nice yard, beach time, and adult games in the kitchen after the kids went to bed. The closets and cupboards are stocked with almost all necessities. We really had a great time!

Great house and location. Having 4 kayaks available was great, and not usual from our experience. The river was not very busy, I think we only saw a handful of fishing boats the week we were there. This made for great conditions for the family to kayak. The kitchen was well stocked, and had everything we needed to cook some family meals at night. It was nice to have a table large enough for the whole family to sit and have dinner. The beds were very comfortable and 2 of the 3 showers had great water pressure. There was plenty of privacy, yet close enough to town and several golf courses to enjoy. Milo's was a small store just a couple of miles down the road that has a large selection if you need to pick something up quickly. Ben was very receptive to any questions we had and ensuring we had everything we needed. We had a great time, and would definitely go back.

We truly enjoyed our time at this beautiful property! The home was well furnished, clean & spacious, with comfortable beds. The kitchen was well stocked, with a large island, great for cooking! We loved sitting out on the sunporch or deck watching the hummingbirds. The fire pit was up closer to the house and easily accessible by some in our party with mobility issues, but still great view of the water. The water was VERY low this year, but we still enjoyed the kayaks!!

My husband and I brought our 6 kids (ages 2-13) and our family dog here for a 4 night stay in early June. This cabin is so cool, it’s decorated perfectly with cozy cabin vibes. The beds and pillows are so comfortable, lots of room to sleep, we all slept like rocks. Our kids loved the bunk beds (both sets are full sized beds!) Also there is a large closet in the upstairs bedroom that is a perfect dark quiet spot for a pack-n-play, there is also a high chair in the laundry room. There is tons of space to spread out. The kitchen is great and has anything you could want or need. Our kids spent most of the time swimming off the dock and exploring with kayaks and canoes. They have life jackets but might want to bring kids/infant ones if you have a small child (we did). We enjoyed s’mores in the fire pit and parents enjoyed having the theater room for movie nights for the kids (so parents could enjoy quiet by the fire). The cabin is just a short drive from “town” where they have a few restaurants, playgrounds and we liked trying the couple different coffee shops. Ben was the perfect host, extremely responsive from booking all through our stay. The ONLY downside was the mosquitos were really bad. We went through 6 cans of Off Deep Woods in 4 days and still were eaten up. I’ve heard it’s a really bad year all across MN and WI. Try to get your hands on some higher deet bug spray (OFF deep woods is only 25%). We loved it here!! Hope to come back someday!

The Spacious Lakefront Lodge was AMAZING!! It was definitely spacious and SO comfortable, even for our entire family. We enjoyed fishing, canoeing and kayaking, a campfire, and just hanging out together in the beautiful north woods. Ben was a great host. He gave us tips and information about the area, and made sure we had everything we needed. We hope to stay here again!

Ben was a very attentive host- specific and timely communication. House was very nice, clean, fully stocked, and with a lot of special touches( nice sheets, pillows, towels, phone jacks, wifi boosters, kayaks/canoes). We were sad we didn’t have time to use basement area and movie room! Loved the screened in seasonal room. Water was calm and quiet and beautiful. Only small thing ( not a deal breaker)- lake view was somewhat obstructed by trees but created privacy that some want. it’s obvious that Ben takes great care of house/property. We really enjoyed our stay!

We traveled with our 2.5 year old twins, parents, and siblings. This house was perfect! The layout was fantastic, the kitchen was fully stocked so we could make every meal, there were games, and even baby gates and high chairs so we could easily wrangle our little ones. The lake was very close and we were able to get out on the water and utilize the kayaks and canoes that were provided. Beds were comfy, towels were soft, and the whole house was incredibly clean. Tomahawk was a short drive and a lovely town. Check in was super easy and the owner was very responsive. I can't say enough positive things, we just had a fantastic time. I would highly recommend this rental!

My family had a great stay! The lodge is beautiful, clean, and comfortable with so many amenities! We stayed over Christmas and the lodge was decorated and even had a tree set up for us! It's a 5+ getaway! We are planning to book again. Thank you so much!

This property exceeded our expectations! The place was very clean & had everything we needed- from kitchen utensils, games, extra linens, and more. We celebrated Christmas here & there was even a Christmas tree set up in the living room. We are already planning a trip back next year. Highly recommend!

We had a great time staying at Ben’s property! My extended family and I met in the Northwoods for a long weekend and found the lodge to be roomy and perfect, more space than the pictures conveyed, for our group of four adults, one infant, and a couple of pups. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook many meals at home. Additionally, the basement and especially the movie room were really great spaces to hang out. Another note— this property had the most comfy beds and pillows we’ve ever encountered in a rental! We would love to come again, maybe next time in the summer!

The cabin is immaculate, not a cobweb anywhere screened in porch included. Enough space for 2 families to spread out and relax. Very well decorated and very comfortable beds, furniture. Ben was a great host and very responsive and accommodating.

Sometimes you never know what you're going to get when you get to your VRBO. Sometimes the photos mislead you, but I must say everything shown in this listing is accurate. Everything about it was exceptional. Ben, who is the gentleman that corresponded with us through? All our questions was always available in a timely fashion. Everything about it was exceptional. Ben, who is the gentleman that corresponded with us through? All our questions was always available in a timely fashion. We had an amazing stay. This home's furnishings and decor made our stay feel like we were truly in the North woods. Plenty of spaces for us all to gather together or in small groups. We especially loved the sunroom in the mornings, fire pit in the evenings, game room and movie room on a rainy afternoon. Beds are super comfy. Kitchen is very well stocked. We wanted for nothing that wasn't supplied.Communication with Ben was easy with quick replies. Highly recommend. Everyone who stayed gives this place 5 stars.

Great house and location. Having 4 kayaks available was great, and not usual from our experience. The river was not very busy, I think we only saw a handful of fishing boats the week we were there. This made for great conditions for the family to kayak. The kitchen was well stocked, and had everything we needed to cook some family meals at night. It was nice to have a table large enough for the whole family to sit and have dinner. The beds were very comfortable and 2 of the 3 showers had great water pressure. There was plenty of privacy, yet close enough to town and several golf courses to enjoy. Milo's was a small store just a couple of miles down the road that has a large selection if you need to pick something up quickly. Ben was very receptive to any questions we had and ensuring we had everything we needed. We had a great time, and would definitely go back.

This rental was amazing. So many ammenities and very comfy cozy. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Communication with the host was really easy with fast responses. I would definitely stay here again!!! A++

The Spacious Lakefront Lodge was AMAZING!! It was definitely spacious and SO comfortable, even for our entire family. We enjoyed fishing, canoeing and kayaking, a campfire, and just hanging out together in the beautiful north woods. Ben was a great host. He gave us tips and information about the area, and made sure we had everything we needed. We hope to stay here again!

This place was perfect for our two families! It was clean, spacious, comfortable, and beautiful. The place feels secluded and the views are gorgeous. Plenty of space and amenities for cooking meals, playing games, and lounging by the fire. Ben was extremely responsive, and especially helpful when we realized on the drive in that we had not yet received the entry info from VRBO. We would definitely come back.

We take a trip like this every year just to spend time with family. We booked this stay and the property owner Ben was fantastic to work with!! The property was spotless and had everything you needed for a great getaway!! Highly recommend this property!!

Ben was a very attentive host- specific and timely communication. House was very nice, clean, fully stocked, and with a lot of special touches( nice sheets, pillows, towels, phone jacks, wifi boosters, kayaks/canoes). We were sad we didn’t have time to use basement area and movie room! Loved the screened in seasonal room. Water was calm and quiet and beautiful. Only small thing ( not a deal breaker)- lake view was somewhat obstructed by trees but created privacy that some want. it’s obvious that Ben takes great care of house/property. We really enjoyed our stay!

We traveled with our 2.5 year old twins, parents, and siblings. This house was perfect! The layout was fantastic, the kitchen was fully stocked so we could make every meal, there were games, and even baby gates and high chairs so we could easily wrangle our little ones. The lake was very close and we were able to get out on the water and utilize the kayaks and canoes that were provided. Beds were comfy, towels were soft, and the whole house was incredibly clean. Tomahawk was a short drive and a lovely town. Check in was super easy and the owner was very responsive. I can't say enough positive things, we just had a fantastic time. I would highly recommend this rental!

If you want to get away from it all, catch up with friends or family, read a book, fish or take a canoe or kayak out on a quiet waterway, this is a great place. We do something like this every few years with a few couples and we like a good size house with a large kitchen. This place will not disappoint. Great amenities. There is not much to do in the area but peace and quiet galore here.

We truly enjoyed our time at this beautiful property! The home was well furnished, clean & spacious, with comfortable beds. The kitchen was well stocked, with a large island, great for cooking! We loved sitting out on the sunporch or deck watching the hummingbirds. The fire pit was up closer to the house and easily accessible by some in our party with mobility issues, but still great view of the water. The water was VERY low this year, but we still enjoyed the kayaks!!

We were so pleased with our stay! The house was very well stocked, lots of towels and beach towels. Very clean and well taken care of. Easy to get to. Felt very secluded and peaceful. The house was very spacious. Plenty of room for our family of 7, including a dog. It was so nice to not feel like we were on top of each other while on vacation. The canoes and kayaks were a plus for all the fishing our boys did. The owner was very communicative and pleasant. We are already booking our trip for next year!

Excellent property, excellent host. No complaints. Loved being able to step outside and walk down to the pier for fishing or to put a kayak in the water. The location on the water is extremely calm and relaxing. More low key.
