We had a fantastic stay at this quaint, cozy room. It was clean and very comfortable. Enjoyed coffee in the enclosed porch in the morning and wine in the shaded back yard in the evening. I would definitely stay here again!

A perfect place for a jump off to many different locations in the area. Walking distance to a fabulous French bakery, Grocery store and of course the Glen Ellen Star restaurant. We were greeted by a complimentary bottle of wine and the grounds were beautiful. ❤Gracious host and hostess. ❤

Convenient for my needs. Comfortable, though as mentioned in other reviews...the room is part of the main house and sound does travel. The listing mentioned "kitchen" and there is nothing "kitchen" except a fridge. Also mentioned in a few reviews was the lack of a coffee maker, due to previous problems with ants. I'm so glad i travel with a small coffee maker. I know there are several options in town, but i like coffee before i head out.

Glen Ellen is a small town close to Sonoma and Santa Rosa The people are friendly and you can walk to most places.There was a festival the weekend we stayed and the street was blocked, but Dave forewarned us and gave us an alternative parking idea so we could access our car.The hosts live on the property, but we only saw him when we drove up. They had a bottle of wine and glasses (and a corkscrew) to welcome us. Dave is very responsive and answered any questions through the VRBO app quickly. They have several hummingbird feeders hanging in the yard. It was fun to watch them buzzing about the yard.There is a small French pastry shop just down the road that has delicious pastery and coffee. Wine Snob winery has a tasting room for their wines and a brand new tasting room for their sparkling wines just down the hill from the wine tasting room.

The Landscaping was really nice. The location was good. The bed was uncomfortable. The curtains were sheer and just cut to length (no hem). Old bedding. The bathroom had ants. Very favorable visit. The remodeled bathroom is nice and the bed is comfortable. Terrific access as you can arrive at any time after the check-in time. Coffee and meals are available just steps away which made it easy to have coffee in the mornings. We are repeat lodgers at this wonderful place in Glen Ellen.

It was a perfect spot for our 3 day stay in Sonoma Valley. Location was ideal as we walked to breakfast each day, to the store and to dinner. It was a short drive to Jack London State Park each morning before we went on daily excursions. The room was just right; clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Thanks so much!

The hosts were wonderful and very knowledgeable about wine and the area's best spots. The room was clean and roomy with lots of storage and a large, modern bathroom. And the location was tucked away but walkable to beautiful walking trails, great coffee, restaurants and markets.

Great room, perfect for our needs for a weekend in the valley. There are two or three good restaurants in walking distance and a good market. Great home base for exploring. Not much room within the room but it wasn’t an issue for us. Very quiet neighborhood.

I can’t say enough good things about this property—it exceeded our expectations! The location was perfect, away from the built-up touristy areas of Wine Country but in walking/short driving distance of excellent wine tastings. The property itself is so comfortable, gorgeous country home decor, a wonderful modern bathroom, and the bottle of wine was such a nice touch! We’d definitely recommend this to friends/family.

This is a great location for Glenn Ellen and Sonoma. Within walking distance to some great dinning, the Jack London pub and market.This is not a stand alone property but a room attached to the main residence. I would suggest some shades in the windows as the 5:30 am sunlight is a bit Brite. The room also has a small refrigerator which was handy for beverages and snacks.

This was a great place to stay on a short visit to Sonoma - a short drive to Sonoma Plaza. The space was very nice with the amenities we wanted, and Dave and Dana were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

The guest suite in Dave’s home was perfect, everything was clean, tidy and well presented! What really sets the stay apart is Dave himself! We spent our evenings eating dinner and drinking wine with him, a lovely person with great stories. Thank you so much Dave!

We loved the location and walked to all meals: Dinners at Jack London Saloon (great burger and music) and Glen Ellen Star, breakfast at Les Pascals Cafe (delightful French owners and wonderful food). Our room was perfect! Dave made sure to see we were happy with everything and provided a nice bottle of wine and a beautiful area outside to enjoy. I highly recommend this place!

First time staying in Glen Ellen.. great location, walked to shops and best French Cafe I’ve been to in the US… took me 18 minutes to get to Sonoma Square, and I walked the local trails which I really enjoyed!! Dave and Dana were awesome hosts!! Hope to return again soon! Thank you!!

We had a perfect stay at this property! Great location to both Sonoma and Santa Rosa. Super clean, super cool hosts, great space!!! Would definitely recommend and would most certainly stay again! So much to see and do in this part of the state. We will need to go again to see it all. When you go, follow the speed limits that are posted as we saw several people receiving tickets. ENJOY!

Dave’s place was great. Beautiful property, great location to many wineries as well as the Glen Ellen Village Market and walking trail. Will definitely stay there in the future.

The location was great. We were situated within a short walk or drivee from many greaat restaurants. The scenery is beautiful and the neighborhood quiet and safe. Lots of great areas to explore nearby as well. Awesome stay!

We loved the peace and quiet of this location, yet it was a short walk to a lovely French bakery and other shops in Glen Ellen. We would stay here again.

It was a perfect spot for our 3 day stay in Sonoma Valley. Location was ideal as we walked to breakfast each day, to the store and to dinner. It was a short drive to Jack London State Park each morning before we went on daily excursions. The room was just right; clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Thanks so much!

The property was just as described. Very clean and private and inviting. A beautiful patio was located right outside our door. Located within an awesome small town! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Many wonderful restaurants and shops were within walking distance. Two local wine tastings were conveniently located and the location was close enough to travel to many other great wineries. We highly recommend this property!

We enjoyed our stay, but were not there for the wine. It was a location close to an event. I missed having coffee/tea available on site.

Very favorable visit. The remodeled bathroom is nice and the bed is comfortable. Terrific access as you can arrive at any time after the check-in time. Coffee and meals are available just steps away which made it easy to have coffee in the mornings. We are repeat lodgers at this wonderful place in Glen Ellen.

Convenient for my needs. Comfortable, though as mentioned in other reviews...the room is part of the main house and sound does travel. The listing mentioned "kitchen" and there is nothing "kitchen" except a fridge. Also mentioned in a few reviews was the lack of a coffee maker, due to previous problems with ants. I'm so glad i travel with a small coffee maker. I know there are several options in town, but i like coffee before i head out.

The Landscaping was really nice. The location was good. The bed was uncomfortable. The curtains were sheer and just cut to length (no hem). Old bedding. The bathroom had ants. No water glasses in bathroom. No kitchenette. The owner got us glasses and a hot pot for tea and coffee. We also heard a lot of noise from the owner or renter on the other side of the door,

Everything was perfect. Loved the room, beautiful setting and backyard area to enjoy, Glen Market and coffee/breakfast places just around corner to walk to. We loved the town of Glen Ellen and it was perfect location in between visiting vineyards in Kenwood, Glen Ellen and Sonoma areas. Would definitely stay here again if we are able to come back this way again! Thanks for a perfect stay in wine country!
