Traditional Cretan house close to beach & Chania

This house is a special place. I would highly recommend it! It is on a high mountain side in a village surrounded by olive groves. The town and the people are so welcoming and friendly that you'll feel like you grew up there. Everything from George's Cafe for coffee to the "old gentleman" who cuts and fires the olive wood, to all the people you see. They all helped make the stay even better. The house has a rustic charm that reminds you of the quiet life and living in a slower a better way. A great place to relax. In it's grove are olive, lime, lemon, pomegranate, fig, and walnut trees. It is also centrally located to everything in Chania. If you want to go to Elafonisos (45 mins), The oldest olive tree on earth (30 mins), Falassarna (35 mins), Chania Town (1hr, most of which is traffic in town). I am so glad that we were able to stay here. I feel like it was not long enough.Now on to the host. Chrysoula. She is over the top amazing. She offered up places to go, restaurants to try, things we had to see, beaches they use. Everything she advised was spot on. We asked for something to do with olive trees and she immediately came up with the Biolea tour (look it up-100% worth it!), what secluded beach to use, where to get baked goods... she knew it all and was so friendly and responsive. She honestly has skewed my view of hosts... now they're all going to have to live up to the example she set.Thanks so much for letting us stay! I will remember it forever

I can only say that this house is a dream. If you want to relax but still feeling like at home this is the place. The house is in an amazing country environment and the house itself is very nice and every detail is thought with attention and elegance. The owner is very kind and provides you with all the information about Crete in advance. She is also very quick in answering if you need something ( our gas can finished on a Sunday and she managed to replace it in few hours.) For us it was an excellent experience that we hope to repeat next year!

Excellent séjour! Très belle destination pour découvrir l ouest de la crète. La maison est charmante et agréable à vivre (très bien équipée). Nos enfants ont beaucoup apprécié la salle de jeux. Terrasse avec une très jolie vue sur les collines et les oliviers. Chrysoula est une super hote. Elle est très accueillante et disponible. Encore un grand merci à elle 😊 Nous recommadons vivement

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans la maison de Chrisoulya. Il ne nous a rien manqué! La maison dispose d’une salle de jeu, idéale pour pratiquer ses étirements le matin ou pour occuper des enfants ainsi qu’un grand extérieur. Nous avons découvert la vraie vie d’un petit village de montagne crétois Mouri est proche de KIssamos et de nombreuses plages. Nous n’hésiterons pas à y retourner. À bientôt !
