Had a great week with the family. The house was great and was well stocked. The fence used to keep the geese out of the yard was a bit odd and annoying to have to take down to access the dock/lake. It was nice to have the kayak but it would have been nice to have a pontoon available. It was also a bit weird to have strangers wandering the yard every day scooping poop. Especially the guy who was complaining constantly while doing it as we sat on the front porch trying to read. Overall, the trip was great and the house was nice.

4 families with multiple children stayed and played at the Sunset Beach house. Plenty of rooms to house everyone comfortably and space to spread out. Kitchens and bathrooms really well stocked, best we’ve seen at any other rental we have been at before. We cooked and grilled multiple meals. Stove had a bit trouble keeping up with maintaining heat with multiple burners running at the same time but, everything eventually got cooked. Beach was a great soft sand and shallow for the kids to play at safely. Had a wonderful time and would recommend for your next vacation.

We loved staying here! The house is perfectly set up for myself and my family, my brother and his, and my sister and hers. We had 7 adults and 6 kids very comfortably situated. The only thing i could ask for the house didnt have wasa game room or second living room. The lake was very peaceful and you dint have to worry about thenyounger kids going to deep as the lake is very sandy and shallow. Caught many sunfish and largemouth bass off the dock and canoe. Watch out for the swans and geese! Having the small fence to roll out came in handy. Thanks for a great stay!

The property was immaculately clean. It gave us the room that we needed to accommodate our family members, and it was well stocked with many of the things that we needed to make our stay memorable. The lake was clean and easily accessible, roughly 30 yards from the back door. The water was deep enough for the kids to jump off the dock, but shallow enough that the youngest ones could wade safely . And the lake is well stocked with fish and our son-in-law caught a huge largemouth bass. The air condition was a true blessing, the beds were comfortable, and the conveniences, such as a dishwasher, TVs and Wi-Fi, a refrigerator, and a smaller refrigerator, a washer and dryer, a canoe, and lifejackets, were all just a few examples of the many thoughtful touches that made this property an outstanding choice. Above all, the property owner and manager were super friendly, and they worked to accommodate our needs. This is a great property, and we had a marvelous time staying here. We would definitely recommend it as a family – friendly, summer home away from home!

This lake house exceeded our expectations. Perfect place for our family to enjoy time together in the open kitchen and living space. Nice deck, yard and fire pit. The lake was very clean and shallow enough for kids to play. The house is equipped with everything you might need during your stay. It was nice to have enough bedrooms and bathrooms for our family of 6 adults and 3 children. There was good communication with owner and property manager. We hope to return.

We LOVED the cottage-very clean and well maintained. It had 3 good bathrooms, including an en suite in the main bedroom. Walk in shower. Very accessible for walkers, limited mobility. The tables had plenty of chairs for a large group, both inside and outside. There was an extra table for games/puzzles-which we loved. Nice yard for the kids, sandy small beach. Plenty of plates/glasses. Large open living plan. Brewery right next door. Lake is weedy and shallow, good swimming for kids at the shore. They work hard to clear the weeds daily. Geese and swans, other waterfowl-fun to watch. Rented kayaks-that is worth the $$. Fun fireworks on the pond for the 4th at other cottages all around. Nice fire pit with plenty of chairs. Brand new grill! We had a GREAT stay!

Upon entering, it smelled so fresh and clean. This is a great location for a group on one level. The kitchen is organized and stacked well for all kinds of cooking needs. We made great meals, played cards, went shopping and enjoyed a bonfire! I would highly recommend.

The house was very spacious and comfortable. The lay out was perfect for our weekend get away. The kitchen supplied with all our needs and room at the table for all to gather with the lovely view of the lake!The canoe with its easy access was in use much of our time and kids enjoyed fishing off the dock.We also had bikes up and own the quiet roads.Thus the property had a perfect location for a fun filled weekend gathering.

This cottage is located on a very tranquil lake and hosted our family of 3 generstions with 6 adults & 4 kids, with room to spare. It is perfectly located between South Haven & Saigatuck, making it so easy for venturing to either town. The lake is a little mucky, once you get past knee deep, but is shallow, making it perfect for young kids. The open concept of kitchen dining and family was perfect for hanging out with beautiful views out to the lake. The master bath and shower are tiny, but didn’t bother us. Place was clean and beds were extremely comfortable. They even had a separate snack drawer for kids & separate drink fridge (very handy) and huge dining table to accommodate all of us. The views are amazing st sunset, especially with a bonfire and drink/smore to top off the end of the day.

Very nice and clean lake property. Rental company is very helpful and responsive. Plenty of room for all 8 adults and three kids. Loved the openness and big table so everyone could enjoy a meal together. We had a great time with our family.

This property was perfect for our annual Cousin gathering. We made wonderful memories at this house. All bedrooms were very comfortable and spotless. House was fine lots of space, but we had a couple of things that we’d like you to look at: The water pressure in the kitchen sink is very very low. Everywhere else is fine, but that seems to be unusually low. In the first bedroom on the left, going from the living room to the driveway, there is a musty smell that is pretty prevalent in that room. We tried using a fan, but that really didn’t help much in the second bedroom on the right from the living room to the driveway there is a Hanger on the wall but it’s not very secure. We hung a bathrobe on it and it immediately fell off. The nails are still there but you might wanna look at that. The outside lights on the side of the house by the grill and the outside lights that shine into the parking area have burned out need to be replaced With found the house very comfortable, and even though it took us a little bit to get used to the acoustics because of the lack of carpeting’s or lack of window dressings, we loved it there, and it was very accommodating

My group had a great time. Everything was clean and comfortable. It rained the entire time that we were there. However, we were able to capture the most beautiful rainbows and Swan passings ever. The check in process was easy, The kitchen provided everything we needed, and the spaciousness allowed everyone to feel at home. We appreciated the written instuctions on how to use various equipment. One of the best homes we've visited. It's a hidden gem.

Great visit! The house had everything we needed and the family of 12 was very comfortable. 20 minutes from Saugatuck and South Haven made it a great central spot to stay.

We had a great stay with our group of 10 friends. The access to the lake was great even though the weather wasn't on our side. Location was a bit further from other attractions than we anticipated but it was located between South Haven & Douglas/Saugatuck so we were able to visit both during our trip. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms for everyone to spread out. We couldn't find the remote during our stay but didn't end up using the TV much anyway. Communication with the host beforehand was great, answered all our questions and suggested things to do in the area. Great find for a Southwest MI getaway!

Plenty of space. Loved how the bedrooms were down one hallway. The kitchen and living room all one open space. We had plenty of room to craft and play games in the long table. Everything in one floor. Plenty of bathrooms for 14 women. Totally ideal. Beautiful colors on the trees. Perfect weekend. Awesome Hosts.

This cottage is located on a very tranquil lake and hosted our family of 3 generstions with 6 adults & 4 kids, with room to spare. It is perfectly located between South Haven & Saigatuck, making it so easy for venturing to either town. The lake is a little mucky, once you get past knee deep, but is shallow, making it perfect for young kids. The open concept of kitchen dining and family was perfect for hanging out with beautiful views out to the lake. The master bath and shower are tiny, but didn’t bother us. Place was clean and beds were extremely comfortable. They even had a separate snack drawer for kids & separate drink fridge (very handy) and huge dining table to accommodate all of us. The views are amazing st sunset, especially with a bonfire and drink/smore to top off the end of the day.

Very nice and clean lake property. Rental company is very helpful and responsive. Plenty of room for all 8 adults and three kids. Loved the openness and big table so everyone could enjoy a meal together. We had a great time with our family.

The property was immaculately clean. It gave us the room that we needed to accommodate our family members, and it was well stocked with many of the things that we needed to make our stay memorable. The lake was clean and easily accessible, roughly 30 yards from the back door. The water was deep enough for the kids to jump off the dock, but shallow enough that the youngest ones could wade safely . And the lake is well stocked with fish and our son-in-law caught a huge largemouth bass. The air condition was a true blessing, the beds were comfortable, and the conveniences, such as a dishwasher, TVs and Wi-Fi, a refrigerator, and a smaller refrigerator, a washer and dryer, a canoe, and lifejackets, were all just a few examples of the many thoughtful touches that made this property an outstanding choice. Above all, the property owner and manager were super friendly, and they worked to accommodate our needs. This is a great property, and we had a marvelous time staying here. We would definitely recommend it as a family – friendly, summer home away from home!

The lake was very clean and shallow enough for kids to play. The house is equipped with everything you might need during your stay. It was nice to have enough bedrooms and bathrooms for our family of 6 adults and 3 children. There was good communication with owner and property manager. We hope to return.

My group had a great time. Everything was clean and comfortable. It rained the entire time that we were there. However, we were able to capture the most beautiful rainbows and Swan passings ever. The check in process was easy, The kitchen provided everything we needed, and the spaciousness allowed everyone to feel at home. We appreciated the written instuctions on how to use various equipment. One of the best homes we've visited. It's a hidden gem.

We spent the weekend Fri-Sun. We were very lucky to have the most perfect weather. The view was terrific. We found things to do but if we hadn't left the house it would have been great too. House was great! We did have a lot of ladybug friends but this is the season and they didn't bother us. I appreciated the full stocked kitchen supplies but what is always nice was that there were spices and those kinds of things. It was easy access to wineries and the surrounding towns. Recommend!

We LOVED the cottage-very clean and well maintained. It had 3 good bathrooms, including an en suite in the main bedroom. Walk in shower. Very accessible for walkers, limited mobility. The tables had plenty of chairs for a large group, both inside and outside. There was an extra table for games/puzzles-which we loved. Nice yard for the kids, sandy small beach. Plenty of plates/glasses. Large open living plan. Brewery right next door. Lake is weedy and shallow, good swimming for kids at the shore. They work hard to clear the weeds daily. Geese and swans, other waterfowl-fun to watch. Rented kayaks-that is worth the $$. Fun fireworks on the pond for the 4th at other cottages all around. Nice fire pit with plenty of chairs. Brand new grill! We had a GREAT stay!

4 families with multiple children stayed and played at the Sunset Beach house. Plenty of rooms to house everyone comfortably and space to spread out. Kitchens and bathrooms really well stocked, best we’ve seen at any other rental we have been at before. We cooked and grilled multiple meals. Stove had a bit trouble keeping up with maintaining heat with multiple burners running at the same time but, everything eventually got cooked. Beach was a great soft sand and shallow for the kids to play at safely. Had a wonderful time and would recommend for your next vacation.

The house was very spacious and comfortable. The lay out was perfect for our weekend get away. The kitchen supplied with all our needs and room at the table for all to gather with the lovely view of the lake!The canoe with its easy access was in use much of our time and kids enjoyed fishing off the dock.We also had bikes up and own the quiet roads.Thus the property had a perfect location for a fun filled weekend gathering.

Very nice and clean lake property. Rental company is very helpful and responsive. Plenty of room for all 8 adults and three kids. Loved the openness and big table so everyone could enjoy a meal together. We had a great time with our family.

This cottage is located on a very tranquil lake and hosted our family of 3 generstions with 6 adults & 4 kids, with room to spare. It is perfectly located between South Haven & Saigatuck, making it so easy for venturing to either town. The lake is a little mucky, once you get past knee deep, but is shallow, making it perfect for young kids. The open concept of kitchen dining and family was perfect for hanging out with beautiful views out to the lake. The master bath and shower are tiny, but didn’t bother us. Place was clean and beds were extremely comfortable. They even had a separate snack drawer for kids & separate drink fridge (very handy) and huge dining table to accommodate all of us. The views are amazing st sunset, especially with a bonfire and drink/smore to top off the end of the day.
