SUNRISE BAY with panoramic view of Lake Erie

Beautiful location, sunrise over lake Erie was very picturesque, beach was awesome, fire pit great. We had a super stay!

We booked for a weekend getaway - 2 adults and 2 teenagers driving in from Toronto. The space was perfect - lots of room to spread out and the kids each got their own room, and great to have 2 bathrooms! The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and kitchenware, we only used a fraction of it to make some simple meals. The view of Lake Erie was spectacular! It was a cool weekend, so we didn't spend too much time on the lower sundeck, but could see ourselves coming back and fully enjoying it in the summer! The sunroom and large windows also offered fantastic views, and it was delightful to see so many birds enjoying the feeder throughout the day! Dean was a great host - very responsive and made check in and check out easy and everything in the house was straightforward and intuitive. It was a 20min drive to Point Pelee and nice restaurants/wineries in Kingsville. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway! Make sure to leave time to hang out on the deck if the weather is nice!!

We were 4 senior women enjoying our high school reunion for the week. We enjoyed seeing a different park ,marsh or winery each day and only enjoyed our final day at the house. We found some “ sea glass” washed up on the beach in front of the house along with a warm lake at the end of September. We enjoyed our coffee watching the sunrise each morning. Would highly recommend and would go back. The second bathroom is actually an ensuite bathroom with access from the master bedroom that has a king size bed in it.Dean had coffee and filters to start us off as well which was lovely and very welcome.

Host was helpful and quick to respond. Cottage is clean, and has all the little things you need, with a great games room/sunroom that is bright and has lovely views. Without a doubt the outdoor space surpassed our expectations. Many places to sit, beautiful lake (sunrise!) views, steps down to the lake, and a lovely area for a campfire. We had a wonderful stay.
