Cozy Cottage On Lake Buckhorn

This is a fantastic property. We were only two, so enjoyed each having our own room, but it could easily accommodate two families or a group of friends. Great spaces, indoor and outdoor. Clean, and nicely decorated. Everything we needed to BBQ dinner, cook other meals, enjoy a campfire and have a movie night. If the weather was cooler the hot tub would have been a huge bonus! Listing is extremely accurate and hosts are very helpful. Read the welcome package and you will have a great stay!

This newly renovated cabin is absolutely beautiful! The hot tub was the highlight as we enjoyed a relaxing evening soak during a snow storm! The kitchen has new appliances, the kids room has fun games, the fireplace is cozy and delightful, the central heating/cooling is excellent, and the dining area is perfectly situated and spacious with gorgeous light and views. My notes for improvement would be to include more seating in the living room (such as an armchair or loveseat) since the couch can only seat 4 people and we were a group of 8 (a pull-out couch would also be lovely!) The firewood that was included was too big to fit in the fireplace so certainly bring your own wood. Additionally, the tea maker/kettle didn't work to boil water, the Roku remote had dead batteries and didn't work (making the TV difficult to use), and some of the blinds didn't work/ kept getting stuck. Apart form these minor inconveniences, the cabin is as advertised and is an excellent value at $500/night. I definitely recommend and would love to stay again in the summer to enjoy the lake!
