Rustic-Luxury Waterfront Cottage Getaway on Kennisis Lake Stunning Elevated View

This place is incredible! The view there is absolutely gorgeous and I commented a few times as to how it almost seemed fake when I'd look out the window because it was perfect, especially with the fall colours in full force. Laura was the perfect host, providing us with a few goodies and info on things to do. Always friendly and quick to respondThe cottage itself is a dream. Plenty of space to spread out, if needed. One of our party ended up having to work remotely more than they expected to & really appreciated the office workspace and strong, reliable wifi. The upstairs bedroom is perfection, with spectacular views of the lake & an incredible ensuite bath and walk-in closet. The kitchen blew my mind. It had all the equipment you'd need to cook a meal. In fact, we ended up cooking up an early Thanksgiving dinner, since we weren't going to be together for it this year. We've staying in several vacation rentals over the years and none have had as complete a kitchen set up as this one!The walk down to the lake meanders through the woods and has a lot of stairs, so if you have mobility issues and want to spend time by the dock, this may not be the place for you, but if you don't mind walking up and down steps (mostly rock steps with some wooden steps), it's delightful. There are plenty of spots along the way to sit and rest or explore. The dog friendly aspect really made it a perfect week for the whole family. Highly recommend this for anyone wanting a perfect getaway!

Absolutely delightful cottage. Well maintained and beautifully decorated. This truly is a luxurious stay whilst giving off a cozy and comfortable vibe. Laura was so easy to communicate with and provided all necessary information for staying at her property as well as adding some guidance on what to do and see if the local area. I would not hesitate to stay here again. The whole family loved the experience and with it being dog friendly, i can truly say the whole family!

This wonderful property is deserving of its perfect ratings- the location is magical, the cottage itself is beautifully appointed and well cared for and Laura is a most attentive host who is easy to communicate with and very welcoming.

It's a lovely cottage and well equipped with a beautiful view. Very peaceful and relaxing.

So we spent Family Weekend in the cottage and had an AMAZING time!!! We were treated to some huge snowfalls and perfect conditions for outdoor fun, and the place was everything we could have hoped for!! Lots of space, beautifully decorated, stocked with everything we needed, warm fireplaces and a casual setting. Laura was SUPER easy to deal with - quick response to questions, checked into make sure we were doing well and accommodating to our dog!!! So many great activities around to enjoy close by but also some great cozy spots to read or play games. HIGHLY recommend this cottage to anyone who wants to get away and enjoy some relaxation and scenery.My only complaint is that I had to leave!!! :)
