We loved the wall of windows facing the trees. We saw many bluebirds, cardinals, woodpeckers and more. Close proximity to all the hiking trails of Hocking Hills and really close to Le Petit winery. We loved every minute of our 3 day trip and looked forward to coming home to Fern Woods. The home has little extras throughout the home that are not the standard. The pillows were nice and the bedding was soft. We appreciated having throw blankets on the beds for extra warmth when needed. The decor was super cute and the downstairs are with shuffleboard was also fun. Thanks for having us Kevin!

Wow! Above and beyond what all six of us expected. My husband and I stayed with our adult children and their partners for a weekend. All of us agreed that this is our new spot for HH trips. We didn’t have time to use the trails on this property, the outdoor fire pit, nor the game’s downstairs but we used the hot tub, kitchen and everything else and it was all very nice. Definitely highly recommends.

This property was so pristine, warm and cozy. It was a girls getaway which was perfect for our small group. Hiked Hocking Hills during the day and went back for quiet evenings with a bonus ...a clean relaxing hot tub overlooking nature. Beds comfortable, kitchen stocked with what we needed and the complimentary snacks and wine were a golden touch. We all agreed that we HIGHLY recommend this property!

My best friend and I rented this cabin to do a long weekend of Christmas fun with our kids! It was a perfect weekend. We did Christmas crafts and made cookies, was even warm enough to do a fire on the nice patio! The cabin was beautiful, and very clean. Everything we needed was already at the cabin as to cook and bake with! The wrap around deck was very nice and the hot tub was great! We will definitely rent this cabin again! I’m pretty picky about cleanliness and this met all my expectations!

We rented the cabin for the weekend to celebrate my daughter’s 20th birthday. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and very spacious. We were so appreciative of all the amenities and extras that the cabin had so we only had to venture out once to get the few items that we forgot to bring. I loved sitting by the fire in the morning and loved watching the snow fall from the hot tub. The check in and out process was incredibly simple. I’d love to come back and spend more time here during the warmer months!

The cabin was immaculate with updated furnishings and a super comfy feel. As soon as you walk in you want to cuddle up on the couch and turn on the fireplace. The huge wall of a window was amazing! The hot tub was big and could fit 5-6 people. 2 decks to enjoy the outside. We loved the shuffle board and games left for guests. The beds were comfortable with high end bedding. We wish we could have stayed longer! The only complaint is that the master bathroom shower didn't have very much pressure. I didn't mind much as everything else was amazing! The owners really put alot of effort into making this cabin perfect and comfortable for your stay. Thanks again for having us as your guests!

We decided to try this cabin for something new and were extremely satisfied!! Spacious and very stocked!! Beautiful fire pit area. The host was friendly and very responsive too! Easy access from 664, two turns and you're there! Quaint winery less than 1mile away. Highly recommend!!! We'll be back!!

This cabin was perfect for what we were looking for. Very clean and beautiful. Hocking Hills has some great hiking trails as well. This cabin is close to all of them. Will definitely stay again!

We have stayed here two times and each time has been wonderful. It is very clean and enough space for 5 adults. The kitchen is well stocked. We will be coming back again!

Overall we enjoyed our stay in the cabin, but there were a few issues. The floors were very dirty. When walking around barefoot indoors, our feet quickly got very dirty. Also, our toddler was sitting on the bench at the dining table. It is very wobbly, and it fell on her foot, breaking the skin. I also noticed it was wobbly when I sat on it. It is very top heavy, so be careful if you sit in it. The lighter was completely out so we had to run out for one. Several mugs are chipped & the dining chair upholstery is pretty dirty. Additionally, the fireplace is stated to be turned on in September, but it was inoperable.

This cabin is immaculate. It has everything you need to cook, nice bathrooms and bedrooms. It’s the cleanest place we have ever stayed and I am pretty particular with rentals. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was relaxing and very very clean. Communication with the owner was easy as well.

This property was perfect for a girls trip! The windows viewing the woods were such a show piece and made every day feel really special. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary equipment for cooking and the house had plenty of blankets to snuggle up with in the cold evenings.

Was our first time visiting the Hocking Hills area. This was a perfect location. House had everything we needed. Enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings and enjoyed drinking coffee on the large deck in the mornings listening to all the wildlife. Kevin was very responsive Will all communication. Will definitely stay here again when visiting this area.

As previous reviews consistently state, this large cabin is wonderful. The floor plan is excellent and both the interior and exterior offer great amenities. We would like to add that the property itself is really nice - substantially set back from the road and protected by trees. The only car you see is your own. The two cabins are thoughtfully placed and there is plenty of space and privacy. We feel that this is really a unique feature to these fabulous cabins as so many other rentals in the area seem to be right on the road or offer views of junk yards. Communication with Kevin was excellent. A++

This cabin is immaculate. It has everything you need to cook, nice bathrooms and bedrooms. It’s the cleanest place we have ever stayed and I am pretty particular with rentals. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was relaxing and very very clean. Communication with the owner was easy as well.

Wonderful property and nice to find a home that was this accommodating to our mother with a walker. Will definitely be checking out again in the future! Host was very kind and helpful with all our questions.

We rented the cabin for the weekend to celebrate my daughter’s 20th birthday. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and very spacious. We were so appreciative of all the amenities and extras that the cabin had so we only had to venture out once to get the few items that we forgot to bring. I loved sitting by the fire in the morning and loved watching the snow fall from the hot tub. The check in and out process was incredibly simple. I’d love to come back and spend more time here during the warmer months!

We decided to try this cabin for something new and were extremely satisfied!! Spacious and very stocked!! Beautiful fire pit area. The host was friendly and very responsive too! Easy access from 664, two turns and you're there! Quaint winery less than 1mile away. Highly recommend!!! We'll be back!!

This cabin was perfect for what we were looking for. Very clean and beautiful. Hocking Hills has some great hiking trails as well. This cabin is close to all of them. Will definitely stay again!

We loved the wall of windows facing the trees. We saw many bluebirds, cardinals, woodpeckers and more. Close proximity to all the hiking trails of Hocking Hills and really close to Le Petit winery. We loved every minute of our 3 day trip and looked forward to coming home to Fern Woods. The home has little extras throughout the home that are not the standard. The pillows were nice and the bedding was soft. We appreciated having throw blankets on the beds for extra warmth when needed. The decor was super cute and the downstairs are with shuffleboard was also fun. Thanks for having us Kevin!

We had an amazing time at Fern Woods for a girls book club weekend. The cabin was gorgeous and luxurious to stay in and close to Ash Cave for the perfect day hike. We will absolutely be back!

Our family of five adults stayed here for 3 nights. The cabin was so bright and comfortable and very clean. The deck and patio area are private and peaceful. The caves and other activities we enjoyed were within 20-25 minutes drive. There is a lovely winery down the street which we visited twice. We are already looking forward to staying here again next year. We highly recommend Fern Woods!!

Wow! Above and beyond what all six of us expected. My husband and I stayed with our adult children and their partners for a weekend. All of us agreed that this is our new spot for HH trips. We didn’t have time to use the trails on this property, the outdoor fire pit, nor the game’s downstairs but we used the hot tub, kitchen and everything else and it was all very nice. Definitely highly recommends.

The kitchen is well appointed with comfy beds and enough towels etc. Because the location is in the country with windy roads, we chose to have dinner in. But we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Talked and drank enough wine around the fire pit!! Great!!

My best friend and I rented this cabin to do a long weekend of Christmas fun with our kids! It was a perfect weekend. We did Christmas crafts and made cookies, was even warm enough to do a fire on the nice patio! The cabin was beautiful, and very clean. Everything we needed was already at the cabin as to cook and bake with! The wrap around deck was very nice and the hot tub was great! We will definitely rent this cabin again! I’m pretty picky about cleanliness and this met all my expectations!

This property was perfect for a girls trip! The windows viewing the woods were such a show piece and made every day feel really special. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary equipment for cooking and the house had plenty of blankets to snuggle up with in the cold evenings.
