BUNGALOW CONTEMPORAIN DE CALIFORNIE

Cons: Not a 2 bedroom as listed. Bunks in the family room and bathroom off the family room, so when someone needed to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, light went on and noise disturbed sleep. The TV in the family room needs replacing as the sound is terrible on about a 5 level. Also, the coffee machine needs replacing. It is a Mr. coffee type, so replace the darn thing. Made coffee before my shower, only to have 1/2 pot made by time I was done. I had to push on the top of the pot to get it to empty the coffee. No yard lots of construction work outside no privacy owner's door is facing rental and the BBQ was so dirty, we bought char coal to use the little one. NO stove as listed, only a hot plate. The good part was only a 45 min. to Disneyland - 11 miles and the shower was good.

Love that you didn’t have to worry about not being safe or loud love that you could have pets an smoke outside

Overall a comfortable little backyard cottage that provided what we needed, and was a nice stay for our dogs as well. There are a few small amenities that could use some improvement, such as the TV in the living room (the speakers on the TV are broken), and the refrigerator was dirty enough that we hesitated to put stuff in it. But overall the place was comfortable, and checkin and checkout were extremely easy, which is always nice. An affordable and easy place to stay if you're spending a few days at Disneyland!

This is a house in a yard. My family (2 adults and 2,4,7) and I came to California to visit Los Angeles and Disneyland. Each day we were out the door by 8:30 and didn't return until past midnight. This bungalow was more than perfect for us. It had plenty of places to sleep, great air conditioning, great water pressure, and a safe place to park in a great neighborhood. There was no stove, but we never use the stove anyway. We did use the hell out of the microwave. There are TONS of places to eat and shop nearby..

Cute and clean place close to everything. Washer and dryer available and comfortable beds. Our family of 5 had a very comfortable stay.

Very nice safe neighborhood. Check in and out was easy. Pet friendly. Near Knott’s Berry Farm and shopping. The place was located behind the owner’s house and the garage. detached 1 bedroom, with two beds and a couch, tv and two bunk beds. Kitchen with microwave, small fridge with small freezer. Portable burner for cooking and dishes, glasses and cookware but limited. Never saw the owner’s which was nice. I wish they would have the entryway alittle more esthetic. Had to walk past washer/ dryer outside . Overall, the place got the overall job done. Thank you for a nice visit.

Really liked that the check-in and check-out process was simple and easy. When we got there the friend of the host was sitting outside, he greeted us and helped to get into the unit. Scared the crap out if me. Rental is not as it seems. It is advertised as a 2bedroom but it is a 1 bedroom 1 bath and living room with bunkbed and a broken couch. 2 beds in the bedroom was not what i was expecting. Washer and dryer was always being used. Rust in the washer but still usable. No stove but a dirty grill was there. We only used this place to sleep so im not complaining about the grill. The unit though should have been swept and mopped before our arrival. So much rubbish in the yard due to renovations.

This home left more to be desired. It is a finished garage that is situated behind the owners main home. There isn’t a dishwasher, stove, oven, or cook top in the unit. The coffee maker takes about an hour to brew a pot. The bathroom is dingy and the toilet isn’t bolted tightly to the floor. There are multiple broken furniture items… particularly the rocking chair… truly a safety hazard. If you are just looking for an inexpensive place to sleep, this place will do it!

The house was cute very well decorated with lots of Disney stuff so it made us going to the park the next day very exciting clean dark wood floors so they looked clean. The beds were made with a sheet and a comforter very cozy very comfortable beds. It will sleep Seven people comfortably the bunkbeds in the living room. Have two what I believe to be full-size beds the bottom one my 18 year-old slept in there was a note that only up to one adult could sleep on the top bunk no more than 200 pounds so either two small children or one adult would be perfect up there. The kitchen has a refrigerator, good size and a microwave and a coffee pot. Folgers coffee and powdered creamer were provided which for me was fantastic. The only problem was there were no coffee filters so I did stop by the store and picked up some coffee filters. I use paper towels, the first night The other thing that disturbed me that I didn’t see until the last night there was that I dropped a pill and looked under the beds to find it, and it looked like nobody had ever cleaned under the beds. There was pet hair and dust, and God knows whales down there mayaccount for the reason I was sneezing so much same with my daughter other than that everything looks clean unfortunately there’s five of us that stayed there. We were only provided one and a half rolls of toilet paper so the night before we left we ran out. Luckily I had bought a box of Kleenex for myself and we ended up using that otherwis the space was good

Where to start? Well, I guess if you want to have a step up from camping, then this is the property for you. I wasn't looking to camp. I wanted a house to accommodate our small family and grandparents to celebrate our son's birthday at Disneyland and Universal. What we got for our hard-earned money was the following... Only one toilet to accommodate 6 humans. That toilet rocked back and forth like the Dumbo ride at Disneyland. One never knew if this fecal deposit would terminate this unit. I don't know what the problem was with the toilet. Perhaps it simply needed to be bolted down, but it wasn't my responsibility as the renter to fix the issue. Secondly, one of the beds had a visible layer of dust upon arrival to this lovely (not) abode. Third, the outside of this unit was similar to those I have seen in third-world countries. The siding was was falling apart, the washer and dryer were outside and rusting (although miraculously functioning), the owners lived on the same property only feet away from this very unkept trailer unit that they only take pictures of from the inside. The owners have bags of garbage outside next to the the rusted out BBQ and washer and dryer. If my family and I were not such good sports and use to challenges, we would have complained to the owners at the time of our stay. But I have to warn all prospective renters of this unit to re-think their decision. I have a post-graduate degree and certificates, we own a business. Warning! DON'T rent this unit!

This was supposed to be a nice stay with my nieces for a Disney trip.First off, this place is not as described.Described as a two bedroom, but had twin bunkbed in the living room, described as recently remodeled. Was NOT! When we arrived, we left to get dinner, so we just browsed the place but i noticed things.it started to hit me how dirty this place was, the bathroom wall had urine all on the back corner behind the toilet. It’s self was full of hair and P at the bottom as someone who cleans professionally I notice this, probably more than others. One of my nieces went to shower, and noticed that on the towel, there were hairs woven into the towels. Another towel that was hanging had make up on the back side, mind you none of us had taken a shower yet.As the night continued, I told the girls I reached out to the host to tell them that this place is not as described and that it’s dirty I’m gonna see if he writes back I said just take pictures if you see anything I know it’s late, but this is unacceptable!!Then as they were going to get ready to go to bed, they pulled down the comforter and under the sheet was a bunch of white hair.None of us have white hair.It was short and it was dog hair underneath the beds was the same dog hair and dust bunnies.When reaching out to the host, he was rude, and unreasonable wouldn’t listen at all.We had no choice but to leave, thankfully, we found one almost ruined our trip. Would not recommend AT ALL!! VRBO is helping with this situation!

This was the perfect place for me and my family! The beds were so comfortable and the neighborhood was so quiet and nice. We will definitely book again here.

This is NOT a 2 bedroom. As soon as I checked in I contacted the owner, because I waas expecring the 2 bedroom that I booked and paid for. His response was, this is not listed as a 2 bedroom and the pictures relect that. I took a screenshot of the multiple descriptions of his "2 bedroom California Bungalow" and forwarded it him. His response was "Sorry for the miscommunication but there is plenty of room for you and your guests". I am now having to go through the process with VRBO to get my money back. It is crazy what VRBO expects from the consumer when they have been tricked by someones false advertisement, but I am still hopeful that I will ne reimbursed. Either way, I would advise against renting from this homeowner.

Crazy plumbing, decent but patchy internet. Nice and quiet and dark. Adequate cooling. Minimal utensils. Well located for access to all of our venues

It was a great experience.👏 We are thankful 👍 I value the fast attention given to us every time I needed it help. I forgot key inside the room and also the toilet was clogged it got fixed very quickly. Nice and clean space. We are very satisfied and enjoy great time for our vacation 🙌🙌💝💝 Notes : just small comments the leaving room Tv volume not good And the TV in the room didn’t have a good remote control. The shower faucet takes time to close it.

Quiet neighborhood, easy check in process.

Arrived early and talked to the owner. Was very pleasant. Understood we were one hour early due to the time change zone, that we did not adjust to and tried to accommodate us due to the early arrival. They were just finishing up on the preparation of the home. They were very easy-going people. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This property was a perfect setup for our group. Felt safe in neighborhood, check in was easy, stocked with basic necessities. Quick drive to Disneyland and close to groceries and quick restaurants. Would stay here again.

My son and his four friends stayed here and were in close proximity to the amusement parks they wanted to visit and each of them had their own bed.
