Loved staying at this mountain cabin. Everything needed to have a relaxing weekend was waiting for us on the property. The hot tub was clean, the fire pit was stocked with wood, the kitchen had extra Keurig cups and clean towels in the linen shelf. Property owner was informative before checking in. The road into the community was very rugged. 4x4 or all wheel drive vehicles are a must. Overall, great stay. Would highly recommend.

Stayed here for a girls weekend, such a charming place. We used the hot tub and fire pit every night. This place has a wonderful view of the lake and is about 15 minutes away from all of the hiking trails. We plan on staying here again.

TL;DR everything was great and we plan to come back We stayed for two nights to celebrate my daughter's eighth birthday and knew weather would be cold and rainy, so we were not sure how it would go -- but everything was perfect. The host was super responsive and suggested lots of kid-friendly activities. Between the game room, local hikes, the hot tub, and the fire pit, we had plenty to do. Plus it generally felt cozy and warm. I don't think the listing highlights the little reading nook around but that was a really nice part of our stay, too. We enjoyed the fall stay and hope to come back in the summer to enjoy swimming in the lake.

The house was adorable and clean. The owner was super helpful with all of my questions. They provided awesome info on where to go, places to eat, groceries, hiking trails, etc. The only thing that was a negative for us was the no yard. I did not realize from the pictures that there was not a yard for the kids to play football or run around in if we were hanging out the house while the baby was napping. The patio was nice and same with the covered area for the firepit though. The lake was easy and close to walk to. Overall it was a great place to stay! We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet get away.

The access road is rough and scary the first time you come in, and the driveway is short and tricky at first sight, but once you get used to taking your time and navigating both with the right amount of care, you're fine. The cabin is beautiful and comfortable with everything we needed available. We were grateful to be able to take advantage of the hot tub every evening when we returned from hiking nearby trails. We couldn't have had a more pleasant stay and will gladly return if we're in the area again. Thanks!

We had a wonderful weekend at this cozy cabin! The house is just a short walk to the lake, which was perfect for fishing, swimming, and relaxing. We brought our own fishing rods and bait, and were glad we did—it’s a great spot for it. The lake has a rocky bottom, so water shoes came in handy for swimming!The cabin feels cozy and gives everyone space to unwind. There was even a sweet little reading nook for quiet moments. We brought an air mattress and had plenty of room for it. The kitchen had all the tools and essentials we needed for cooking, and we brought our own groceries.We took a day trip to Ohiopyle and visited Cucumber Falls, which the kids loved—it felt like a mini adventure climbing around the rocks and fallen trees. The gem mining was more fun than expected, and the ice cream afterward was a hit.Back at the cabin, we loved the hot tub, making s’mores by the fire pit, and watching movies from the great DVD selection. The kids had a blast in the game room. Rachel was a thoughtful, responsive host and had everything set up so nicely, including coffee and basic supplies.One note: the road leading to the cabin is very rocky, so we recommend bringing everything you’ll need for your stay—you won’t want to make too many trips once you’re settled in. That said, it’s all part of the adventure, and we truly loved our stay. We’d absolutely return!

It was bigger than many cabins I stayed in, really clean, beds were very comfortable. Host was very sweet and made it easy to check in and out. Beautiful views, and very close to Ohiopyle and Confluence for activities. Hot tub quite lovely, and beautiful views. The last part of the drive in is very hilly and gravelly, so we had to be careful there. Would book again!

This cabin was amazing. Sparkling clean and a great location. Communication with the property owner was extremely helpful. She was obviously happy to help and knows the area very well! Access to the cabin was a little rough as far as the condition of the roadway, but it was tolerable for such a nice little place to stay!

My partner and I stayed here for a couple days with our newborn. Everything being on one floor and the open kitchen design was really convenient, and the place felt warm and homey. Mid October was a great time to visit for the leaves!

The property is tucked away into a beautiful wooded area. The nighttime stars were gorgeous!I did expect it to be more private, but the neighboring houses were quiet. There was more vehicle traffic in front of the house than I expected, especially late at night but when we were inside you couldn't really hear it. I was very impressed with how welcoming, clean and inviting the whole place was. Little touches everywhere that made it feel like a perfect home away from home! Personally, I LOVE the decor!

My husband and I spent 3 nights at the property. Everything was clean and easy to find. The mudroom was great to have so we didn’t have to worry about tracking anything in. We had all the tools that we needed to make our dinners. There was plenty of space for 2 people. We didn’t use the outdoor fire or the wood burner, but everything was there if we wanted to have a fire. There are other properties close by, but we only saw a few people driving past. As it was December, we had a nice view of the lake plus we could hear the stream running through the valley. The property is close to Ohiopyle hiking trails and was a nice, warm place to come back to. Rachel was great to work with and did a wonderful job with the property.

I had given a brief summary of why I was booking the cabin. As I walked in I saw the most thoughtful card and beautiful flowers. That was the start to the weekend my heart and mind needed. Rachel is so caring. The cabin is beyond perfect. I didn’t leave once the whole weekend. I found my peace, my calm, my serenity. I came with second guesses, scared about my future, anxiety. I left with answers, a clear head, and a new love and respect for myself. I can’t wait to come back again. This isn’t just a rental. It’s now a staple in my healing journey and my story. I can’t wait to make more memories here. Thank you Rachel. Thank you for being you.

Very clean upon arrival. Was able to add a day at the front end of stay. Easy to contact owner. Location was outstanding and very quiet. Enjoyed the bird songs. Thank you for a great vacation.

The property is cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing, cooking, sitting by the fire, and exploring Ohiopyle. The host was wonderful and incredibly responsive, left us pastries, and is the best VRBO host we've ever had!

My husband and I spent 3 nights at the property. Everything was clean and easy to find. The mudroom was great to have so we didn’t have to worry about tracking anything in. We had all the tools that we needed to make our dinners. There was plenty of space for 2 people. We didn’t use the outdoor fire or the wood burner, but everything was there if we wanted to have a fire. There are other properties close by, but we only saw a few people driving past. As it was December, we had a nice view of the lake plus we could hear the stream running through the valley. The property is close to Ohiopyle hiking trails and was a nice, warm place to come back to. Rachel was great to work with and did a wonderful job with the property.

The cabin was exceptionally clean. Very cozy and great amenities. Comfy beds. Close to the lake. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. Rachel is very accommodating and great communication. Highly recommend.

We loved our visit to Ohiopyle. Rachel's cabin is a clean, spacious and beautiful place to stay. She has thought of everything, just bring your basics. The lakeview is wonderful. So relaxing and close to all Ohiopyle sites. We will be back! Thank you so much. Matt, Danielle, Siena and Alora

My friend and I really enjoyed our girls weekend at the cabin. Everything was so clean and decorated nicely. Nice view of the lake and the hot tub was great to relax in at the end of each day. Communication was great with the owner and would definitely stay there again if we would return to the area.

This cabin was amazing. Sparkling clean and a great location. Communication with the property owner was extremely helpful. She was obviously happy to help and knows the area very well! Access to the cabin was a little rough as far as the condition of the roadway, but it was tolerable for such a nice little place to stay!

We loved this property! Rachel was very accommodating allowing us to check in early, and everything was as advertised. The road to and from the home is ROUGH, so definitely recommend having a larger vehicle. I do with there were a few items like tin foil, zip locks, etc in the home, but it in no way affected our overall comfort in the house. Highly recommend this property!

Loved staying at this mountain cabin. Everything needed to have a relaxing weekend was waiting for us on the property. The hot tub was clean, the fire pit was stocked with wood, the kitchen had extra Keurig cups and clean towels in the linen shelf. Property owner was informative before checking in. The road into the community was very rugged. 4x4 or all wheel drive vehicles are a must. Overall, great stay. Would highly recommend.

It was bigger than many cabins I stayed in, really clean, beds were very comfortable. Host was very sweet and made it easy to check in and out. Beautiful views, and very close to Ohiopyle and Confluence for activities. Hot tub quite lovely, and beautiful views. The last part of the drive in is very hilly and gravelly, so we had to be careful there. Would book again!

The property is tucked away into a beautiful wooded area. The nighttime stars were gorgeous!I did expect it to be more private, but the neighboring houses were quiet. There was more vehicle traffic in front of the house than I expected, especially late at night but when we were inside you couldn't really hear it. I was very impressed with how welcoming, clean and inviting the whole place was. Little touches everywhere that made it feel like a perfect home away from home! Personally, I LOVE the decor!

Awesome place located in a secluded spot right off Lake Youghiogheny for swimming, and hiking trails near by. Close distance to Lady Luck casino, Ohiopyle, and much more. The place was well stocked with basics, including firewood, and was very comfortable. Highly recomend!

The rental property was very remote and perfect if you are looking to stay in and hang out outdoors. The location is secluded while remaining close to Ohio Pyle. The house itself was very clean and provided exactly what was promised in the description and while communicating with Rachel.

The access road is rough and scary the first time you come in, and the driveway is short and tricky at first sight, but once you get used to taking your time and navigating both with the right amount of care, you're fine. The cabin is beautiful and comfortable with everything we needed available. We were grateful to be able to take advantage of the hot tub every evening when we returned from hiking nearby trails. We couldn't have had a more pleasant stay and will gladly return if we're in the area again. Thanks!

We had a wonderful weekend at this cozy cabin! The house is just a short walk to the lake, which was perfect for fishing, swimming, and relaxing. We brought our own fishing rods and bait, and were glad we did—it’s a great spot for it. The lake has a rocky bottom, so water shoes came in handy for swimming!The cabin feels cozy and gives everyone space to unwind. There was even a sweet little reading nook for quiet moments. We brought an air mattress and had plenty of room for it. The kitchen had all the tools and essentials we needed for cooking, and we brought our own groceries.We took a day trip to Ohiopyle and visited Cucumber Falls, which the kids loved—it felt like a mini adventure climbing around the rocks and fallen trees. The gem mining was more fun than expected, and the ice cream afterward was a hit.Back at the cabin, we loved the hot tub, making s’mores by the fire pit, and watching movies from the great DVD selection. The kids had a blast in the game room. Rachel was a thoughtful, responsive host and had everything set up so nicely, including coffee and basic supplies.One note: the road leading to the cabin is very rocky, so we recommend bringing everything you’ll need for your stay—you won’t want to make too many trips once you’re settled in. That said, it’s all part of the adventure, and we truly loved our stay. We’d absolutely return!

The hot tub and fire pit were fabulous! Everything was very clean and we had a lot of towels which was good because we used the hottub everyday! Rachel was very responsive to my questions and helpful.I had trouble sleeping on the mattress in the bedroom with the closet. Too firm.Also, host should remove the pictures of the game room that is on Vrbo because I don't think it exists anymore. No biggie for us but I don't think it is cool to show pictures of something that isn't available.So many things to do in the area! It is a great location. Unfortunately, it rained a lot when we were there so it really cut down on outdoor activities.I would recommend a stay at this location.

Hot tub was fine, cabin was clean, and Fallingwater was a short drive away. Layout of the main room was somewhat awkward; would have benefited if seating was arranged around TV and dining table moved to wall with windows. A few towel racks and clothing hooks would have been helpful.

This was a fantastic cabin for a winter weekend getaway. The cabin was well equipped, cozy, homey and clean. Wood stove and hot tub kept us toasty on sub-zero evenings, and the beautiful space helped us relax and recharge. Wonderful host, wonderful space and a wonderful experience. Thank you!
