Stayed for a night, it was a lovely stop over in mid France on the way back to the UK. Food a little pricey, but restaurants nearby if you need.

As a first stop travelling through France, Château Corban is the perfect hotel. The spa facilities and pool make for an excellent un-wind before the top notch dinner - which you will need to book.

Everything was fine - our room was authentic and high spec in the best way - separate bathroom and wc top class -but it was too dark having a small low down window- you couldn't see out of it without bending down - I guess this was the basic accommodation. I wouldn't particularly want to stay in that particular room again but would certainly stay in a room with a proper window. We had an aperitif in the lovely garden and then the basic set menu in the restaurant and it was excellent. There are nice grounds and pools etc. It is a little off the beaten track but we loved it.
