what an amazing property! The pictures on the website do not do the view justice! the trees have been topped a bit showing the entire lake. the kitchen was where we spent a great deal of time together cooking. great equipment and accessories. the bed in the king room was very comfortable and another great view.garage parking also a plus. we hope to enjoy this property again.

One of the main reasons we reserved this house was the jacuzzi tub overlooking the lake. Both days we tried to use it, it did not work, and we called and the handyman came over 5 hours later and walked in and scared us all. He did not fix it. They also were called several times to fix the TV so we could watch movies.... we called the first day, at 3:00 or so,... and we got a message at 630 saying the work hours are over for the day and to call back the next day. We called the next day, 2 gentleman came over and tried to fix the Tv and said.... " we need a teenager to fix this" ? needless to say, it was not fixed.The overall experience in a VRBO was bad.I have owned several VRBOs and managed them myself,... and to not get any follow up phone calls within a reasonable period of time, let alone the problems were never addressed really says alot about how they run their rental property. Not good, and I would never recommend this property... although the views were very nice but other than that, it was not worth it.

Stay was terrific. Great views from all windows. Perfect for a writing retreat. Balcony was especially nice for sunrise coffee. AC and WiFi worked very well. All the things I needed including plenty of towels, dishes etc. Great extras like Roku and suntan lotion and snack basket. Eric (name? Handyman) was very sweet and fixed stopper in sink that was stuck. Three very minor things: all your light labels have faded out but I experimented and figured most out, so no worries. There was plenty of lighting. The garage door I could never get to work from the outside despite trying over and over. But just opened from inside button.Still these are incredibly minor. The view and the comfy beds and couches and amazing balcony are the real stars. Plus everything was spotlessly clean.

We had three adult couples for a 4 night/5 day stay in early/mid December. Booking, check-in and communication were very smooth and the description of the place is accurate. The two bedrooms with lake views had king size beds and adjoining bathrooms. The "main" bathroom has a jacuzzi tub with handheld shower head (not wall mounted). The other downstairs bathroom (as described) also has access from the hallway. The third bedroom has a queen-size bed and no adjoining bathroom. We were originally going to share the second downstairs bathroom but ended up using the full bathroom upstairs for the third bedroom since it was just as easy. The full bathroom upstairs is large with a glass shower. The views are gorgeous. Full lake views from the dining room, living room and deck as well as two of the bedrooms. We spent most evenings at the dining table playing games and doing puzzles but could just as comfortably sat in the living room watching movies in front of the fireplace. The kitchen had everything we needed. The only issue was that the water took awhile to get hot, which is understandable in a mountain home during winter. We easily parked two mid-size suvs in the garage and one sedan in the driveway. The driveway is short and fairly steep so it could be a challenge to pull out if it was snowy or icy but we had crisp sunshine and didn't have any problems. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and are discussing coming back next year at about the same time.

We enjoyed our time in the home very much. The communication with the host was excellent. The home is as advertised. It has all the cooking tools you need. The video game console was a big hit. We would rent this home again. The view from the balcony at dusk is stunning.

Our family of three enjoyed a nice getaway to the mountains in this home with spectacular views! It was clean and had great amenities like a foosball table which my son enjoyed. The only thing that was disappointing is that the jets in the tub didn’t work. Overall great stay.

This property is beautiful and so well appointed. The beds are comfortable. There is plenty of tableware and cutlery. the view is spectacular! Super fun touches of the juke box and the video games. On top of that, communication with the hosts was A Some things future renters should know... of note this is ALL in the house manual, but if you don't read it before you get there, you could get surprised.1)They don't supply propane and there may or may not be some left for you from a previous guest, so plan to get some if you want to use the grill2) The garage door code did not work for us. There is a work around - come into the house and open the garage door from the inside. It is not a deal breaker, at all, it just would have been nice if it had been working.

Property had great views and purported to be luxury home but was at best a tired worn Luxury home Management presented an onerous 6 page "blanket" rental agreement with unreasonable or non applicable restrictions and provisions. To my dismay and not disclosure the property was shared with others in a lower basement unit We were surcharged for New Years stay which was expected but extra 15 fee for each additional guest was a bit excessive, and Management wanted an extra 20 to check in an hour early. At check in the pass codes to open doors didn't work and we had to than use the back up lock box key Some of the featured comforts where hard to figure out how to use like the gas fireplace, BBQ and the jacuzzi . The juke box was a nice touch but really didn't work right .There was no instruction manual or binder to describe the equipment or systems in the home -finally the the bed sheets where stained with cosmetics and other foreign material. We couldn't find any extra sheets or pillow cases. I would up load here but this review does not have this capability ? With some TLC and better orientation our stay could have been much better

We hit a few snags but overall my family was very happy with our 3 night stay. The location is great and there are many comfy spots to relax and take in the views. The TV and gas fireplaces were perfect, the living room comfortably seated 6, kitchen and dining area are huge and well-appointed and the downstairs beds were comfortable. Early check-in/late check-out, when available, costs extra. Online check-in is the most thorough I have experienced, requiring uploading a selfie and providing licence plate number(s) before receiving your access code. I'd recommend this for 1-2 compact to midsized car(s) because parking was extremely tight with our Tundra. I also recommend making sure you can turn on the tub faucet before you're cold, tired and ready for your soak. I messaged the owner with a few issues and she was very helpful.

The house is big, clean and comfortable. I needed some place quiet to work and it was perfect. The host did a great job communicating. There are a couple things that maybe could use some updating, but the big thing is the view. You have it from every window and it's beautiful. I'm looking forward to another stay.

This property is fantastic! Clean, comfortable and well equipped. Lots of amenities and attention to detail are easily noted. The kitchen is well stocked, however the refrigerator is very loud and intrudes on the serenity. I am sure in time it will be replaced.The views are out of this world! The photos cannot capture the glorious lake and lanscape. I would have given 5 stars for every category and our experience, however there are a few things I must make mention of. I want to be clear that I would absolutely book this rental again in the future. This list is for more transparency and fair warning for anyone considering this property.***This home is divided into 2 units. The property description should emphasize this boldy and more clearly. We thought someone was in the house, as we could hear noises and footsteps at night and banging noises from time to time. We missed the small mention about the 2nd unit, or we would not have been as scared thinking someone was in the hall and upstairs. We also experienced lights and the TV on (we never turned it on) when we woke up that were off when we went to bed. I contacted our host after the first night, and after a lengthy and very apologetic delay I was informed of the other unit and assured we were safe and the other guests had no access to our unit. The other happenings were addressed with reasonable explanations. Book the rental! Expect that noises are possible. Relax and enjoy your stay!

A very nice place to stay and we would come back ! :). Very clean and plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our family. But it’s the view that is a true treasure. !! :).

We had fun staying here before Thanksgiving. Kitchen could you some work but everything was nice and clean with lots of supplies. Hosts were easy to get a hold of when needed

The host responded quickly to any questions, and the place was clean and well-maintained.One thing I wasn’t aware of is that this property consists of two separate units stacked on top of each other, meaning the lower unit may also have guests. Additionally, the booking process was a bit unusual—navigating to another website for the contract and details felt a little confusing, making it seem like the reservation wasn’t directly through VRBO.Overall, though, I highly recommend this place!

This property is fantastic! Clean, comfortable and well equipped. Lots of amenities and attention to detail are easily noted. The kitchen is well stocked, however the refrigerator is very loud and intrudes on the serenity. I am sure in time it will be replaced.The views are out of this world! The photos cannot capture the glorious lake and lanscape. I would have given 5 stars for every category and our experience, however there are a few things I must make mention of. I want to be clear that I would absolutely book this rental again in the future. This list is for more transparency and fair warning for anyone considering this property.***This home is divided into 2 units. The property description should emphasize this boldy and more clearly. We thought someone was in the house, as we could hear noises and footsteps at night and banging noises from time to time. We missed the small mention about the 2nd unit, or we would not have been as scared thinking someone was in the hall and upstairs. We also experienced lights and the TV on (we never turned it on) when we woke up that were off when we went to bed. I contacted our host after the first night, and after a lengthy and very apologetic delay I was informed of the other unit and assured we were safe and the other guests had no access to our unit. Stay was terrific. Great views from all windows. Perfect for a writing retreat. Balcony was especially nice for sunrise coffee. AC and WiFi worked very well. All the things I needed including plenty of towels, dishes etc. Great extras like Roku and suntan lotion and snack basket. Eric (name? Handyman) was very sweet and fixed stopper in sink that was stuck. Three very minor things: all your light labels have faded out but I experimented and figured most out, so no worries. There was plenty of lighting. The garage door I could never get to work from the outside despite trying over and over. But just opened from inside button.Still these are incredibly minor. The view and the comfy beds and couches and amazing balcony are the real stars. Plus everything was spotlessly clean.

We had three adult couples for a 4 night/5 day stay in early/mid December. Booking, check-in and communication were very smooth and the description of the place is accurate. The two bedrooms with lake views had king size beds and adjoining bathrooms. The "main" bathroom has a jacuzzi tub with handheld shower head (not wall mounted). The other downstairs bathroom (as described) also has access from the hallway. The third bedroom has a queen-size bed and no adjoining bathroom. We were originally going to share the second downstairs bathroom but ended up using the full bathroom upstairs for the third bedroom since it was just as easy. The full bathroom upstairs is large with a glass shower. The views are gorgeous. Full lake views from the dining room, living room and deck as well as two of the bedrooms. We spent most evenings at the dining table playing games and doing puzzles but could just as comfortably sat in the living room watching movies in front of the fireplace. The kitchen had everything we needed. The only issue was that the water took awhile to get hot, which is understandable in a mountain home during winter. We easily parked two mid-size suvs in the garage and one sedan in the driveway. The driveway is short and fairly steep so it could be a challenge to pull out if it was snowy or icy but we had crisp sunshine and didn't have any problems. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and are discussing coming back next year at about the same time.

One of the main reasons we reserved this house was the jacuzzi tub overlooking the lake. Both days we tried to use it, it did not work, and we called and the handyman came over 5 hours later and walked in and scared us all. He did not fix it. They also were called several times to fix the TV so we could watch movies.... we called the first day, at 3:00 or so,... and we got a message at 630 saying the work hours are over for the day and to call back the next day. We called the next day, 2 gentleman came over and tried to fix the Tv and said.... " we need a teenager to fix this" ? needless to say, it was not fixed.The overall experience in a VRBO was bad.I have owned several VRBOs and managed them myself,... and to not get any follow up phone calls within a reasonable period of time, let alone the problems were never addressed really says alot about how they run their rental property. Not good, and I would never recommend this property... although the views were very nice but other than that, it was not worth it.

We enjoyed our time in the home very much. The communication with the host was excellent. The home is as advertised. It has all the cooking tools you need. The video game console was a big hit. We would rent this home again. The view from the balcony at dusk is stunning.

This property is beautiful and so well appointed. The beds are comfortable. There is plenty of tableware and cutlery. the view is spectacular! Super fun touches of the juke box and the video games. On top of that, communication with the hosts was A Some things future renters should know... of note this is ALL in the house manual, but if you don't read it before you get there, you could get surprised.1)They don't supply propane and there may or may not be some left for you from a previous guest, so plan to get some if you want to use the grill2) The garage door code did not work for us. There is a work around - come into the house and open the garage door from the inside. It is not a deal breaker, at all, it just would have been nice if it had been working.

Property had great views and purported to be luxury home but was at best a tired worn Luxury home Management presented an onerous 6 page "blanket" rental agreement with unreasonable or non applicable restrictions and provisions. To my dismay and not disclosure the property was shared with others in a lower basement unit We were surcharged for New Years stay which was expected but extra 15 fee for each additional guest was a bit excessive, and Management wanted an extra 20 to check in an hour early. At check in the pass codes to open doors didn't work and we had to than use the back up lock box key Some of the featured comforts where hard to figure out how to use like the gas fireplace, BBQ and the jacuzzi . The juke box was a nice touch but really didn't work right .There was no instruction manual or binder to describe the equipment or systems in the home -finally the the bed sheets where stained with cosmetics and other foreign material. We couldn't find any extra sheets or pillow cases. I would up load here but this review does not have this capability ? With some TLC and better orientation our stay could have been much better

The house is great with lots of entertainment options for kids! We had an issue that came up and I was very impressed with how Lisa and her team handled it - they were very attentive and went over-the-top with providing solutions. Great house and great team, will definitely recommend!

We hit a few snags but overall my family was very happy with our 3 night stay. The location is great and there are many comfy spots to relax and take in the views. The TV and gas fireplaces were perfect, the living room comfortably seated 6, kitchen and dining area are huge and well-appointed and the downstairs beds were comfortable. Early check-in/late check-out, when available, costs extra. Online check-in is the most thorough I have experienced, requiring uploading a selfie and providing licence plate number(s) before receiving your access code. I'd recommend this for 1-2 compact to midsized car(s) because parking was extremely tight with our Tundra. I also recommend making sure you can turn on the tub faucet before you're cold, tired and ready for your soak. I messaged the owner with a few issues and she was very helpful.

The house is big, clean and comfortable. I needed some place quiet to work and it was perfect. The host did a great job communicating. There are a couple things that maybe could use some updating, but the big thing is the view. You have it from every window and it's beautiful. I'm looking forward to another stay.

This house had the best views of the lake and forrest from both levels. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is large with everything you need. Sky Park at Santa's Village is less than 10 minutes away and fun for the whole family. They have a bike park (lots of fun), hiking, a climbing wall, archery, axe throwing, and more. We were there after Memorial Day and there were very few people there. Big Bear Lake is about a 40 minute drive and you can rent a boat there. Also, lots of hiking/biking trails. Lake Arrowhead village is a 5 minute drive (>1 hour walking downhill) and there is a grocery store, shopping and restaurants on the waterfront. We had a great trip!

I'd recommend this for 1-2 compact to midsized car(s) because parking was extremely tight with our Tundra. I also recommend making sure you can turn on the tub faucet before you're cold, tired and ready for your soak. I messaged the owner with a few issues and she was very helpful.
We hit a few snags but overall my family was very happy with our 3 night stay. The location is great and there are many comfy spots to relax and take in the views. The TV and gas fireplaces were perfect, the living room comfortably seated 6, kitchen and dining area are huge and well-appointed and the downstairs beds were comfortable. Early check-in/late check-out, when available, costs extra. Online check-in is the most thorough I have experienced, requiring uploading a selfie and providing licence plate number(s) before receiving your access code. This home features by far the finest views you can get of Lake Arrowhead - in fact the two floors feature gorgeous panoramic lake views in 7 out of 10 potential rooms. It has been updated to include a primary bedroom on the top floor (replacing a game room). This floor also includes a bathroom, an extremely well-equipped kitchen and huge lakeside dining area. Up to 10 guests can easily enjoy the spacious living areas, bedrooms and cavernous kitchen and dining space. The location is generally extremely quiet (except maybe on some Saturday nights - when we heard quite a bit of noise after 11 p.m.). It's a short drive away from dozens of restaurants, several grocery stores, shopping and other services. Guests can use the two-car garage plus another street parking spot. The two TVs on the top floor are large-screen and easy to use to stream favorite programming. The lower level has three bedrooms and several bathrooms - one with a huge soaking tub with a grand, sweeping view of the lake country. The house is situated on the end of a cul de sac and set in such a way that outsiders can't see in but you can see out with an almost unrestricted view of towering trees and the lake below. Communication through VRBO messaging received nearly immediate responses. Our one complaint was that we were not made aware that there is a lower floor under the two floors made available to us that is rented out to a tenant as an apartment. We generally did not encounter any difficulty with this.

Amazing views from many rooms and the deck. Views that you can’t capture in pictures, but just need to experience them live.The house was very clean and included many little details so we didn’t have to run out for anything that we may have forgotten. We cooked many meals and the kitchen was roomy and well stocked as it had everything we needed. The bedrooms were also roomy.The jukebox was a nice surprise our teenage daughter enjoyed it a lot. Hubby spent a lot of time playing the nostalgic video games.It was a quiet peaceful stay and spent most of our time looking at the views. This trip was exactly what we needed-thank you!

This property is fantastic! Clean, comfortable and well equipped. Lots of amenities and attention to detail are easily noted. The kitchen is well stocked, however the refrigerator is very loud and intrudes on the serenity. I am sure in time it will be replaced.The views are out of this world! The photos cannot capture the glorious lake and lanscape. I would have given 5 stars for every category and our experience, however there are a few things I must make mention of. I want to be clear that I would absolutely book this rental again in the future. This list is for more transparency and fair warning for anyone considering this property.***This home is divided into 2 units. The property description should emphasize this boldy and more clearly. We thought someone was in the house, as we could hear noises and footsteps at night and banging noises from time to time. We missed the small mention about the 2nd unit, or we would not have been as scared thinking someone was in the hall and upstairs. We also experienced lights and the TV on (we never turned it on) when we woke up that were off when we went to bed. I contacted our host after the first night, and after a lengthy and very apologetic delay I was informed of the other unit and assured we were safe and the other guests had no access to our unit. The other happenings were addressed with reasonable explanations. Book the rental! Expect that noises are possible. Relax and enjoy your stay!
