Sage Cottage

We had a very comfortable stay at Sage Cottage, we would highly recommend the cafe/restaurant in the village, excellent food. The cottage is handy to see plenty of the Cotswold villages and is only 40 minutes to the Cotswold Safari Park, well worth a visit. The cottage would benefit from additional plates and mugs so the dishwasher doesn’t have to be put on every day, but otherwise the cottage is excellent.

It was better than what we expected. I loved this place so much. Our family made so many precious little memories. It is cozy and quaint, has its quirks but so does every home with character. We loved the location as it's tucked away at the end of the road, the walk to 'town' was a highlight of mine every morning. If you're questioning about staying in Blockley I say book the place and you won't be sorry.

I stayed here for 3 nights with my family of four and the grandparents. We were thrilled with the property - it certainly felt 5 star! Everyone had their own space, it was so much bigger than photos showed, we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of every room and bathroom. We had beautiful weather so even made use of the garden terrace for sunset drinks. We made use of the recommendations, walking to the cafe, kids park and country pub. We would definitely stay here again and will certainly use the bolthole portfolio for our next stay.
