I can't say enough about the ease of making reservations for this stay and the follow-up communication that we received from the property manager Jackie! The home was beautiful, clean, and had all we needed to enjoy a week long celebration of our 50th Anniversary! The hot tub and Jacuzzi was one of my husband’s favorite amenities. The spectacular mountain views were breathtaking and I couldn't get enough of them. I highly recommend this home for your next vacation spot!

Our group of four was here during Thanksgiving week and we had a great time. The cabin is very modern and spacious with all the amenities one could ask for. From the fireplace to the fire pit; soaking tub to hot tub; dart board to ping pong table; it had everything. The great weather was an added bonus for nearby wine tasting, horseback riding and hikes at the Shenandoah State Park. Would definitely come back to Meadowlark Cabin!

Beautiful home and view of the mountains! It was absolutely peaceful and relaxing. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable so needless to say, we all slept well. The hot tub was an added plus! Our family enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer! We would definitely stay here again!!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Meadowlark Cabin! Over the course of three nights I think we managed to make use of all the amenities, including the hot tub, soaker tub, fire pit and fireplace! We also spent time on the outdoor deck and in the spacious front yard enjoying the property and the incredible mountain views! Our host was very responsive, and provided us with a firewood delivery on our first day there. I can't think of a single bad thing to say here, and I hope others enjoy Meadowlark Cabin as we did! Five stars!

Amazing weekend trip for my husbands birthday. The whole family had a great time! The large deck and the hot tub were a huge hit, along with the fire pit! Highly recommend this beautiful place! The stars at night were beyond amazing.

We had a great time at Jackie’s place! The property is beautiful and secluded so you can get away from life for awhile! Communication was awesome- Jackie always answered within mere minutes… The fire pit and hot tub are great!

My wife and I loved this cabin as a get-away spot. Clean, beautiful views, conveniently located near Walmart -- but not too near! -- and some of the best hikes in the Shenandoah National Park. Cabin has all the necessities (internet, coffee maker, basic cookware/flatware/plates/mugs, washer/dryer) and many luxuries (hot tub, fireplace, jacuzzi). We would definitely come back!

Two adult couples had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. We loved the views from the large deck, cooking in the nice kitchen, and great bonfires in the field at night! We even got some ping pong in! The manager was easy to communicate with and we would definitely stay here again.

It was quiet , clean, and had all necessary items a family would need. My family enjoyed the hot tub very much. The owners are polite and respond in a timely manner. We got 50 pc fire woods which was way too many for 2 nights of fun. Half of that amount would have been enough. They delivered the wood prior our arrival which was thoughtful. Making s’mores was fun for my little girl.

This cozy, well maintained and well appointed cabin was perfect for a family get away. We especially appreciated the privacy afforded by this cabin’s location, along with the fire pit and hot tub! Easy drive into Shenandoah, Luray or Sperryville.

My spouse and daughters enjoyed three lovely nights and days at the Meadowlark cabin in Rileyville, Virginia this past week. The cabin was very well appointed and immaculately clean. Exactly as advertised. The cabin was not full of bric-a-brac as rentals are often full of bits and pieces of furniture and decorative items. Well designed and well appointed as noted. There are nearby properties but you cannot see them from the cabin. When you are there, you feel (because you are) quite secluded. I suppose we loved most the views and the air early in the morning out on the deck. And then the night sky full of stars -- too much light polution in the cities. We ate on the property although one can access cafes relatively close in Luray and Front Royal. And of course there are plenty of things to do nearby from ziplining to tubing, canoes etc. It was a perfect break for us. Jackie, the property manager, managed everything just right. Attentive when we reached out with questions but not intrusive. Perfect. We enjoyed ourselves immensely.

We loved our stay in this beautiful house! It was easy to get to and close to places we want to go. The house was clean and comfortable. There was a miscommunication about bringing our own sheets that we didn’t see when we picked the place but that was resolved easily. Definitely going back, if they’ll have us!

This was probably the cleanest rental property I've ever stayed in! The hot tub was wonderful and beautiful views of the sunset. Proximity to hiking and restaurants was pretty good.

Three bedrooms. One in a basement ground floor level with sitting room but no TV there. Main floor has small bedroom. Third bedroom is loft. All levels had a bathroom. Nice deck and outdoor fire pit.

Each year, we go to the Mountains with our Daughter, Son In Law and Grandchildren to celebrate their birthday. We try to use it as a time to unplug and enjoy each other, without electronics. This house was perfect for that. Although, there was internet access, we didn't use it. The house was comfortable. In fact, the beds were so comfortable, we slept later than we ever do. Plenty of dishes, silverware and cookware to accommodate us. The house is pretty isolated, but close enough to restaurants to pop out for dinner if desired. Thank you for letting us rent your property. I would recommend.

Family of 6 with 2-11 year olds and 2-15 year olds. The cabin was perfect so we could spend time together but also retreat to our spaces. The kids loved the fire pit and hot tub. Easy access to outdoor activities like tubing, hiking, caverns etc. The property is beautifully maintained and has stunning views with nightly sunsets over the mountains. Really quiet and peaceful. We would definitely stay there again.

Gorgeous home in a peaceful location. The house seems to be new or recently remodeled. We enjoyed spending time on the back deck, facing the mountains and watching the sunset. The owner even provided a welcome gift, which was a little package of the ingredients to make s’mores. We had fun sitting around the fire pit in the evening, looking at the stars. This home was a perfect 10 out of 10.

This place is AMAZING !!! Has everything you can possibly think of ready for you . And unlike some other places ive rented this place has the BEST host Ms Jackie . She is absolutely amazing and now all my future trips to Va will be through her .10/10 recommend

Great location with many great places to eat with in 30 min. 90 minutes to DC. House was amazing. Slight miscommunication. Jackie called me right away and it was resolved very quickly. Kids 3,8 & 14 loved the house. Will stay again for sure.

We had a great time at Jackie’s place! The property is beautiful and secluded so you can get away from life for awhile! Communication was awesome- Jackie always answered within mere minutes… The fire pit and hot tub are great!

Two adult couples had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. We loved the views from the large deck, cooking in the nice kitchen, and great bonfires in the field at night! We even got some ping pong in! The manager was easy to communicate with and we would definitely stay here again.

It was quiet , clean, and had all necessary items a family would need. My family enjoyed the hot tub very much. The owners are polite and respond in a timely manner. We got 50 pc fire woods which was way too many for 2 nights of fun. Half of that amount would have been enough. They delivered the wood prior our arrival which was thoughtful. Making s’mores was fun for my little girl.

Great location with many great places to eat with in 30 min. 90 minutes to DC. House was amazing. Slight miscommunication. Jackie called me right away and it was resolved very quickly. Kids 3,8 & 14 loved the house. Will stay again for sure.

I looked for the ideal location to have a Veteran’s day retreat and I finally decided on this cabin. It was truly everything I was looking for. My favorite thing was the ability to enjoy a cozy wood burning fire inside or outside. It was/is November and not too cold yet to enjoy a fire outside. The host were beyond kind and accessible. The town and shopping are just minutes away. It really is a great sanctuary to detach from the city hustle. Thank you very much!

The Property had all the necessities that we could want! We loved the peace and quiet and enjoyed the great view from the deck. While off the main road a bit, it didn't take long to get to the park or into town. Overall, we have a fabulous time!

My wife and I loved this cabin as a get-away spot. Clean, beautiful views, conveniently located near Walmart -- but not too near! -- and some of the best hikes in the Shenandoah National Park. Cabin has all the necessities (internet, coffee maker, basic cookware/flatware/plates/mugs, washer/dryer) and many luxuries (hot tub, fireplace, jacuzzi). We would definitely come back!

We loved our stay in this beautiful house! It was easy to get to and close to places we want to go. The house was clean and comfortable. There was a miscommunication about bringing our own sheets that we didn’t see when we picked the place but that was resolved easily. Definitely going back, if they’ll have us!

Family of 6 with 2-11 year olds and 2-15 year olds. The cabin was perfect so we could spend time together but also retreat to our spaces. The kids loved the fire pit and hot tub. Easy access to outdoor activities like tubing, hiking, caverns etc. The property is beautifully maintained and has stunning views with nightly sunsets over the mountains. Really quiet and peaceful. We would definitely stay there again.

This cozy, well maintained and well appointed cabin was perfect for a family get away. We especially appreciated the privacy afforded by this cabin’s location, along with the fire pit and hot tub! Easy drive into Shenandoah, Luray or Sperryville.

This was the ideal house to stay in after hiking in the park. The beautiful setting plus all the amenities made it very relaxing and comfortable. The hot tub was very well maintained and enjoyable to use to help relieve our sore muscles after hiking.

The stay was amazing! We came here for our first family spring break trip as a family of five (1 year old, 4 year old, and 5 year old). House was very clean and well-stocked in the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. Jackie was very responsive and quick to answer any questions through the VRBO app. The hot tub was great. The fire pit area was fun too. Since it was the start of spring, the bees were everywhere around the house, which was a bit of a bummer. So we could not enjoy sitting on the deck during the day. The only other thing I would say is we wished the grass was cut a little bit shorter for running around/playing in the yard, but we still did it and enjoyed the area by the fire pit while roasting s'mores. Beautiful mountain views and spacious set up. We will definitely recommend this house to friends and family!
