Piña Hills - Close to Surf + Pool + Fast wifi

I booked Pina Hills for my family to stay while they came to visit me. They had a 5.5 and 8 year old and they had the best time in the pool. The house was beautiful, spacious, perfect for hanging out on the rainy days. Loved everything about it!

We enjoyed our stay here. Description of the house was very accurate. Great communication and the housekeeper was awesome. We were very comfortable here and would stay here again.

Our stay was amazing. Everything about the property was perfect. Close walk to a nice beach. Short drive to the point and other surf spots. Couldn’t have asked for a better location Adriana and jeff were great hosts. I will definitely be back.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It wasn’t a far drive from the Pavones break. Lots of insta worthy moments throughout the house. We had monkeys almost every morning on the surrounding trees. The house design is gorgeous. The kitchen was well stocked. Bedding was fantastic. A few things to keep in mind: - Wifi was painfully slow. - Only the bedrooms have A/C. We were under the impression the entire house had A/C like many of the CR homes we’ve stayed in but for some reason the living room and kitchen don’t have a mini split unit which makes those areas uncomfortable during the evenings when the sun hits the glass windows directly. We would go in the bedroom and pool to cool off. - Immediately upon arrival, we dropped off our belongings to go to the beach and I realized the large sliding glass door in the back did not lock. For me, that was concerning because on the check in notes it said to lock up and not leave valuables laying around. Not only that, it’s a crazy world and you just don’t know what could happen. Things have happened in even the best communities. Despite my request, the door was never fixed during our stay. I’m extra cautious so this may not have bothered others. - Finally, be prepared for power outages. They can happen and the home does not have a back up battery. We were without A/C and power from one afternoon to the following afternoon. It gets HOT. That also meant no wifi. Keep this in mind if traveling w/kids.

This home and it’s hosts are 10/10. The property is in the perfect location with close proximity to several of the best surf breaks and restaurants, but up the hill just enough to enjoy an amazing view and total privacy. Adriana is so kind and excellent with communication. My husband and I stayed here with a friend for 4 nights and we didn’t want to leave. This area is a real gem, remote, laid back and so lush. We saw monkeys, toucans, and macaws just while hanging by the pool. We will absolutely be back!
