Very comfortable apartment, part of a home. Very clean. Very quiet. The owner communicated well. The kitchen had everything we needed (except maybe serving spoons). Nice setting out back. Amazing national park! Gorgeous mountains, trails, and scenery. We'd come back again.

Wonderful property in secluded setting on Fremont River. Everything one needed including full kitchen and small bonus room with national parks and activities brochures. Provided binoculars for use. Wish we could have stayed at this location longer but needed to get to next park destination.

The place was very clean and private. She had LOTS of info for the area that was very helpful! I'd DEFINITELY go back here again if we are in the area!!!!Beautiful views. Only about 12 minutes to Capitol Reef.We had a few questions and the owner answered quickly.Since we were in the "basement",we did hear some walking around noise from the floor above, but wasn't that bad. I'm not a huge fan of sponges in the kitchen, so I wish there would have been a dish cloth, but we adapted.

Loved this property. Exactly as advertised. Very comfortable. The kitchen was amazing, everything we needed to cook our own meals. Excellent wifi. If you are going to spend a bunch of time at Capital Reef NP and area, this is a great base for your trip.

The Sofabed was a bit short, but ok for one person.The kitchen was ok for little cooking.There is no dishwasher. We liked the place and especially the rocking chair.The bedroom has no daylight,no problem for us. We would come back.

Great location! Close to Capital Reef NP. Biggest surprise - a couple of first class restaurants in little Torrey, Utah! A nice place to stay, the lower level of the owners home. Quiet and clean. Lacking some kitchen equipment if you want to cook, but I would recommend just going to Hunt & Gather, &/or Chak Balam!

Our stay in Torrey was wonderful. The little apartment was well-kept and at the back of a beautiful house. We had a lovely view. Torrey is a nice town and perfectly located for us to travel to our hiking destinations.

We really enjoyed our stay at "Peace and Quiet on the Fremont". It's a short drive out of Torrey, only maybe 5 minutes. Easy drive back to Torrey and to the entrance of Capitol Reef NP. It's in an incredible location, well off the highway, on one of the bluffs above the Fremont River. There is an incredible, totally unobstructed view down to and across the river, with the mountains in the distance. Spectacular. The apartment itself is immaculate, nicely furnished, and very comfortable. It's seems very lightly used, almost new. The host was very helpful and responded immediately when we asked for additional towels (they'd been forgotten by the housekeeper - and the host brought a lot more. She was fun to chat with as well). We enjoyed sitting outside or in the living room looking out the big windows, to relax after a day of hiking in the Park. Highly recommend this place for a comfy, lovely stay.

Very nice quiet location. This is a complete separate unit with all listed amenities below a primary residence. The location feels remote and is at the end of a long gravel road. The descriptions are accurate. The place has a pleasant homey feeling. While it feels remote the location is just a few minute drive from the town of Torrey.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this gem. Probably works better for 2 people than for 4, but this is a fantastic place to spend a night after a day of exploring Capitol Reef. The views are amazing, communication with the host was great, and we just felt really welcomed.

Excellent quiet location on the Fremont river. Spacious and amazing dark sky for astrophotographers. Property owner easy to reach and friendly. Only stayed 2 nights but could definitely stay longer on another trip. We loved it !

This small apartment at the back of a larger home had all we needed for a short stay with our family of 4. It's very close to Capitol Reef, and the view from the rental was wonderful. We enjoyed watching the wildlife that visited the river. Though connected to the larger house, the rental was quiet and private. We didn't see anyone else from our space at all, and heard only a few sounds from the other living space.

This property was quite, room to spread out and over looked the Fremont river with a view of an old log cabin up on the mountain side with snow covered mountains in the back ground. We would definitely stay here again.

The location was great. Off the main road but easy to access. No traffic noise at all. Apartment is very private with windows facing the river. I never felt the need to close the drapes. A wonderful location to see the stars at night. Just far enough from town to be dark sky. The milky way was out in all it's glory at night. I could see satellites crossing the sky with the naked eye. The apartment was very clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable and there were plenty of linens. The only thing missing for me was a washer and dryer. Owners live on site and were very hospitable and invited me into their home when I wet to the door to say hello. They never intruded on my privacy. Thank you Jan and Paul for a great stay

Great little property alongside the river. Great location, close to Capitol Reef and other natural attractions in the area. The unit was very functional, family friendly and the host was very responsive. Would definitely recommend to others as well.

My husband and I loved this little hideaway! We needed a place to stay so we could go explore Capitol Reef, and this place was a treasure. It was out of all the touristy chaos but close enough to make the trip in and out of Capitol Reef easily and quickly. Hosts are onsite and were helpful when there was something we needed. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat! Oh, and Capitol Reef was also AmAzInG - go visit!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at "Peace and Quiet on the Fremont". It's a short drive out of Torrey, only maybe 5 minutes. Easy drive back to Torrey and to the entrance of Capitol Reef NP. It's in an incredible location, well off the highway, on one of the bluffs above the Fremont River. There is an incredible, totally unobstructed view down to and across the river, with the mountains in the distance. Spectacular. The apartment itself is immaculate, nicely furnished, and very comfortable. It's seems very lightly used, almost new. The host was very helpful and responded immediately when we asked for additional towels (they'd been forgotten by the housekeeper - and the host brought a lot more. She was fun to chat with as well). We enjoyed sitting outside or in the living room looking out the big windows, to relax after a day of hiking in the Park. Highly recommend this place for a comfy, lovely stay.

Very nice quiet location. This is a complete separate unit with all listed amenities below a primary residence. The location feels remote and is at the end of a long gravel road. The descriptions are accurate. The place has a pleasant homey feeling. While it feels remote the location is just a few minute drive from the town of Torrey.

I cannot say enough about the beauty and peacefulness of this property. If you love an incredible night sky and relaxing in absolute peace and quiet, you will love this home! Torrey is a great little town with such welcoming people. Don’t miss out on trying one of the amazing food trucks! We particularly loved Capitol Burgers and the taco truck! And after a long day of hiking Capitol Reef, it was truly refreshing to unwind at this gem. I genuinely look forward to another stay here in the future!

The location was great. Off the main road but easy to access. No traffic noise at all. Apartment is very private with windows facing the river. I never felt the need to close the drapes. A wonderful location to see the stars at night. Just far enough from town to be dark sky. The milky way was out in all it's glory at night. I could see satellites crossing the sky with the naked eye. The apartment was very clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable and there were plenty of linens. The only thing missing for me was a washer and dryer. Owners live on site and were very hospitable and invited me into their home when I wet to the door to say hello. They never intruded on my privacy. Thank you Jan and Paul for a great stay

Great location! Close to Capital Reef NP. Biggest surprise - a couple of first class restaurants in little Torrey, Utah! A nice place to stay, the lower level of the owners home. Quiet and clean. Lacking some kitchen equipment if you want to cook, but I would recommend just going to Hunt & Gather, &/or Chak Balam!

Wonderful property in secluded setting on Fremont River. Everything one needed including full kitchen and small bonus room with national parks and activities brochures. Provided binoculars for use. Wish we could have stayed at this location longer but needed to get to next park destination.

We loved how quiet and the view was awesome. It was so close to Torrey and Capital Reef. Hunt and Gather restaurant so close and an excellent birthday dinner! Great spot want a lovely view and quiet!

Loved this property. Exactly as advertised. Very comfortable. The kitchen was amazing, everything we needed to cook our own meals. Excellent wifi. If you are going to spend a bunch of time at Capital Reef NP and area, this is a great base for your trip.

The Sofabed was a bit short, but ok for one person.The kitchen was ok for little cooking.There is no dishwasher. We liked the place and especially the rocking chair.The bedroom has no daylight,no problem for us. We would come back.

Perfect stop for a night or two! Appreciated the private access to the apartment with parking. Short drive to Capital Reef. Jan recommended a grocery store and we were able to cook a nice dinner.

The room is clean. The kitchen is fully equipped but one of knife is dirty with sauces. Our host is very responsive. Parking is conveniently located near our unit. Overall, we are happy stayed there.
