Gîte Chez Simone-Gîte-Stadt-Eigenes Badezimmer-Balkon

Propreté, confort, calme. Bien équipé. Dommage qu'il n'y avait pas de planche à tartines pour le déjeuner. Les escaliers vers l'étage sont assez dangereux et il manque une rampe. Pas évident pour l'un d'entre nous qui a des difficultés de mobilité.SINON, superbe gîte.

La localisation et le confort de ce gîte

I would characterize this place from an American standpoint. First, the owner we had to meet to fork over €300 damage deposit did not speak a word of English, thankfully one of my companions spoke fluent French. I have one complaint as it were and that was the stairs were steep and not too deep. This has to do with the fact the whole unit was 20 feet wide. Stairs to floor up from ground level had no kind of handrail (which in the US would be a lawsuit waiting to happen). The stairs to the top floor were maybe 4” deep and incredibly steep with no where to put your hands for support. So if you have any kind of issue with stairs this is not the place for you. The rear deck overlooks a little canal and a park across the way, which is cute. Bear in mind the deck is smaller than it might appear in photos. Oh and the shower stalls have very flimsy doors, but the water pressure is fine.
