Lake Daze was a great place to call home for the Memorial Day weekend. Very clean and well kept. The appliances worked well and was stocked with cookware to accommodate our group. Beds were comfortable for everyone. The dock and swim area were wonderful and we had a fantastic time. 5 star***** stay and recommend to anyone looking to hideaway for a little!!!

Went for a long weekend with the husband and our dog and Loved It!!! We spent most of the time on the amazing deck and the dock! Yes the views are that picture perfect! We didn't have a boat and wanted a place we could still easily swim/enjoy the water and this place delivered. The house was decorated so cutely and we felt right at home with all the small touches including a large crate for our dog so we didn't even have to bring ours! I would recommend doing what we did and bring all you need so you don't have to go shopping during your stay, cause once you are there you won't want to leave, trust me on this. Already looking to book again!!

This was a great house on smith lake. Beautiful view and great dock to fish and swim off of. We kayaked, swam and caught a few bass from the dock. Great week!

We had the pleasure of spending a weekend at the Lake Daze property in Crane Hill. The booking was easy and came with a guide book to ensure options for eating and local boat rental. The view from the top deck was beautiful. Easy walk to the dock. We enjoyed the fire-pit as well as the clean propane grill. Quick response when I had questions. We will definitely stay here again.

It was beautiful and they had everything you needed. My family and I rented here for a wedding that was a few miles away. We went kayaking everyday and ate breakfast, lunch and dinner on the deck enjoying the view. We loved it and can’t wait to go back. Was able to get a hold of the owners if we needed anything.

Great place to get away and enjoy the lake. Great view of the water. Lots of things to entertain…arcade games, ping pong, kayaks, covered boathouse, fire pit. Very reasonable pricing. Renter was very responsive. Would definitely book again.

It was a lovely retreat on the lake for our family. Located between Huntsville and Birmingham gave us nice day-trip opportunities. There isn’t a dishwasher but paper plates were provided for the nights we didn’t want to do dishes.

House was quaint and cozy. Very relaxing. The deck is magnificent! A little more furniture on the deck could make it even better. We will definitely be going back. The dogs had a ball. Boat dock is great. It was easy to get from boat ramp to house.

This is the beautiful lake house getaway! My family of four with two teenagers loved the house (clean and comfortable rooms, and space) and the location on the water was great. The property manager/owner, Lynn, was easy to work with from the beginning of our communication throughout our stay. The location on the lake and boat dock allowed for some really good fishing right from the dock and some great kayaking around the local shoreline. We would come back here again!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Coffee on the porch to start our days, and then relaxing by the firepit to cap it off. My kids loved playing on the dock and rocks along the shore. They could have spent a whole week down there. My one criticism is the lighting in the living room / kitchen is lacking. It seemed dark in there, even in the middle of the day with all the windows. Other than that, it was great!

We were very pleased with cleanliness, location and easy to find! I will definitely book this house again for our next trip! House is close enough to water without climbing steps which was a huge plus for us. We enjoyed hanging out around the boat dock and the top deck was roomy and had great view of the lake! Lynn was very nice and helpful! Thank you for sharing your beautiful lake house with us!

We had a wonderful stay at this lake house. Everything was clean, comfortable, and very accommodating. We enjoyed swimming on the dock, dinner around the large upstairs patio table and had the most perfect spot to see the sunset. Plenty of space for 2-3 families and exceeded our expectations of how nice, still being pet friendly. Looking forward to many future trips back at this spot!

My family and my brother’s family enjoyed this house so much. There were a total of 7 people and we never felt cramped. The lake is one of the cleanest and clearest I have ever seen. Swimming off the dock or rocks on the shore was amazing. We would definitely come back.

We had a wonderful time here, the cabin was really cute and plenty of space for our family and dogs. The porch was wonderful to sit out on and have morning coffee, looking at the lake. The dock was great to swim from, and we brought our 20' boat as well - the boat ramp is a bit of a drive though, so just plan for that. Overall we had a wonderful weekend.

We have rented 4 different houses on this lake and each house had benefits but this one was our favorite. The location was great. Slope to lake incredible. My 82 year old dad loved all the details in the house. My kids and I loved the deck.

This was our 3rd family vacation to Smith Lake and I have to say it was our best yet. The cabin is great and the view of the lake is simply stunning. Compare to most cabins, that have many stairs to get to the water, the short walk down the hill to the dock isn't too bad. My kids loved the little under water shelf that you can walk out on into the water. They spent hours there snorkeling and watching little fish. Memories were made and fun was had by all!

We were very pleased with cleanliness, location and easy to find! I will definitely book this house again for our next trip! House is close enough to water without climbing steps which was a huge plus for us. We enjoyed hanging out around the boat dock and the top deck was roomy and had great view of the lake! Lynn was very nice and helpful! Thank you for sharing your beautiful lake house with us!

It was a lovely retreat on the lake for our family. Located between Huntsville and Birmingham gave us nice day-trip opportunities. There isn’t a dishwasher but paper plates were provided for the nights we didn’t want to do dishes.

We have rented 4 different houses on this lake and each house had benefits but this one was our favorite. The location was great. Slope to lake incredible. My 82 year old dad loved all the details in the house. My kids and I loved the deck.

Our stay was wonderful! The location was perfect and the view from the deck was beautiful! My only critique is that the railing on the deck was not safe for little children.

Lake Daze was a great place to call home for the Memorial Day weekend. Very clean and well kept. The appliances worked well and was stocked with cookware to accommodate our group. Beds were comfortable for everyone. The dock and swim area were wonderful and we had a fantastic time. 5 star***** stay and recommend to anyone looking to hideaway for a little!!!

We had the pleasure of spending a weekend at the Lake Daze property in Crane Hill. The booking was easy and came with a guide book to ensure options for eating and local boat rental. The view from the top deck was beautiful. Easy walk to the dock. We enjoyed the fire-pit as well as the clean propane grill. Quick response when I had questions. We will definitely stay here again.

It was beautiful and they had everything you needed. My family and I rented here for a wedding that was a few miles away. We went kayaking everyday and ate breakfast, lunch and dinner on the deck enjoying the view. We loved it and can’t wait to go back. Was able to get a hold of the owners if we needed anything.

Perfect spot! An update on pots and pans and a more substantial coffee maker are needed. The deck needed a good sweeping. Everything else was great and well stocked!

Amazing place to stay for the weekend! Great porch to hangout on and eat meals between trips to the dock and playing in the lake. Brought all our groceries with us and didn’t leave the whole weekend! It was a very relaxing and restorative weekend for our family.

Our family had so much fun at this property! Beautiful view and they had absolutely everything we needed to have a fun family vacation. All we had to bring was food, they supplied so many towels! Also a great spot on the lake! Can’t wait to come back!

Great house, just as listed! Had all the things we needed to set our family up on the lake for the week. The home owner sent a bunch of helpful info about the area. Heed the warning and grocery shop before you come! We had a super relaxing week at the lake, and really enjoyed the back deck even in the rain!

The lake view was absolutely beautiful. It was so peaceful. The only thing was we didn’t have any dish rags in the kitchen but we managed. Other than that we loved our stay there.
