Nevisside Cottage, Ben Nevis, Highlands

We had a lovely week staying here. Family if 4, children aged 12 & 11 and our Dalmatian. The location was brilliant with many sights to see in the area. We went up the gorge to Steall water cup and over the wire bridge. Glenfinnan for the iconic viaduct the drive on to Millage for the scenic drive. Fab views from the top of Ben Nevis and up the gondola at the Nevis range. The accommodation was perfect, with everything we needed, however the kitchen knives were very blunt which made it difficult to chop veg. The garden isn’t as enclosed as we would have liked as our dog likes to have a good sniff and a wonder but under supervision it served its purpose. Definitely recommend staying here and we would again.

We are both in our 80’s and my wife is not in good health, we have spent many years in Scotland and in this part in particular. The cottage was perfect and is one of the most perfect place one could imagine at our age. If it is possible in the future, I would have no problem in contacting the owners again.
