The view was amazing from the porch, and the house has a very welcome home feeling. They have a lot of outdoor furniture so you can relax while watching the mountain view. Definitely will want to come back for future vacations.

Took our teenage daughers and friends to a football game. The house perfect in everyway. Plenty of room for everyone, the wrap-around porch was great, house was clean, plenty of supplies, easy check in. And Beau was great throughout the process. Highly recommend Thank you

Perfect in every way. Home is clean, comfortable, modern. The owners go out of their way to accommodate their guests. Home is very spacious (3 stories) with a huge deck with incredible views. Gas grill, fire pit, well supplied kitchen and bath rooms. The gas fireplace was a nice feature at night while watching TV. Zero problems during our stay and we will definitely be returning to this amazing property.

We loved this cabin and all the thoughtful details Beau provided! Most rentals look good in online photos but this place exceeded our expectations. We enjoy cooking most of our meals and this was the best equipped kitchen I’ve encountered. The knives were sharp, pots and pans seemed new, a full spice drawer and condiments in the refrigerator (I brought my own but nice to have backup if you forgot something). My college age kids were all over the snacks and trying out unusual tea selections. The views are wonderful, the porch furniture is decorated with cute pillows and blankets, the interior is comfortable with nice artwork. The fire pit was nice. I will say if you want mountain top views, you have to be willing to take a deep breath to navigate the steep driveway. It’s totally doable but the more timid drivers in our family let others take the wheel. We were in town for graduation and I wish we had found this cabin earlier. Much better than any of the hotels in the area. Thank you Beau for being a great host and sharing your cabin!

Clean and beautiful mountain home with a great view of the mountains. The house is secluded and surrounded by plenty of trees. The driveway was challenging but so are many in the mountains. The house was well stocked with amenities and has a nice fire pit to roast marshmallows by.

The owner is great with communication. Once you are able to arrive at this beautifully remodeled three story home. The property is really clean and the overall amenities are well thought of from upgraded bedding to bathroom extras. Our family was in awe of the views of the mountains on the upper extensive upper deck.The biggest challenge is navigating the 4 minutes uphill and off road to the vacation home that needs some maneuvering. However, once you arrive it understandable that this property gets a 10 out of 10 from many other previous rentals.

Everything was so well thought out! They had thought through details and provided things like hand soap and tissues. The kitchen was well stocked. Everything was clean, welcoming and comfortable. Beau was great to work with. We definitely would stay here again!!!

It’s a great house with beautiful views. Lots of space and very well maintained. What really stood out was the extra effort put into making sure everything you could need was already there. We’ve stayed at many properties over the years. None have ever gone above and beyond like this one. Bed were very comfortable. We had a wonderful stay 10/10Thanks again for sharing this beautiful property!

My family came for a wedding at Castle Ladyhawke. I brought my 86 year old mother who has dementia and the house was comfortable for her. Downstairs was perfect for my son and his family while upstairs was perfect for another son and grandson. When we arrived the house was warm and welcoming and for that I’m incredibly grateful. It was cold and rainy and momma was freezing. To walk into a warm home was extra special.

This mountain home was the most beautiful home and setting, with so many convenient little things about it. The views from every window were magnificent. We've owned a VRBO in Myrtle Beach and have stayed in numerous VRBO through the years. This house is the #1 ever. Thank you so much!

This property has every detail imaginable! We were incredibly comfortable and it definitely allows you to feel like you’re home away from home! Prompt and great communication, easy check in and beautiful home. Highly recommend!

Everything was so well thought out! They had thought through details and provided things like hand soap and tissues. The kitchen was well stocked. Everything was clean, welcoming and comfortable. Beau was great to work with. We definitely would stay here again!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed this mountain retreat! It provided plenty of room to gather with our adult children and their spouses for a couple of days, and then provided a quiet retreat for the two of us for the rest of the week. The host was very responsive to our needs. Highly recommended!

My wife, daughter and mother in law enjoyed this fabulous house located very close to WCU. My daughter will be attending school there starting fall semester. Although I was unable to make the trip with them, they were amazed by the beauty of their surroundings and the home itself. My wife told me there was nothing not thought of with the house furnishings. The beds were comfortable and the host Beau was very responsive anytime we had questions or information. My family thoroughly enjoyed their stay and we would love to stay again when we visit Maggie at WCU.

The owner is great with communication. Once you are able to arrive at this beautifully remodeled three story home. The property is really clean and the overall amenities are well thought of from upgraded bedding to bathroom extras. Our family was in awe of the views of the mountains on the upper extensive upper deck.The biggest challenge is navigating the 4 minutes uphill and off road to the vacation home that needs some maneuvering. However, once you arrive it understandable that this property gets a 10 out of 10 from many other previous rentals.

My family came for a wedding at Castle Ladyhawke. I brought my 86 year old mother who has dementia and the house was comfortable for her. Downstairs was perfect for my son and his family while upstairs was perfect for another son and grandson. When we arrived the house was warm and welcoming and for that I’m incredibly grateful. It was cold and rainy and momma was freezing. To walk into a warm home was extra special.

This is a gorgeous property that’s decorated beautifully with even more beautiful views. It’s through fully stocked with all items you’d need as a guest. You can tell from the minute you arrive that the owners take great pride and care in their home. I’d recommend this property anyone and stay again. The only downside was the drive up to the home. This house is so comfortable! Everything was so clean and well maintained. The bedroom arrangement was great for our adult children-and we all enjoyed the outdoor areas -both the decks & fire pit. Beau is very thoughtful and thorough-we even had mouthwash in the bathroom! Location was awesome too. We will definitely bring our friends /family back To this beautiful home.

I have stayed at a lot of rental properties over the years and this home by far had the most thoughtful touches of any place we’ve ever stayed. From the bathroom and kitchen supplies (ie shampoos, extra toothbrushes/toothpaste, toilet paper, paper towels, coffee pods, creamers, welcome snacks), etc. I could go on and on. The hosts go above and beyond. We have a child at WCU and the property is a quick 5 minutes from campus. Super convenient!The house is beautiful and the views are awesome. Heads up that the road to get to the house is a little scary and would definitely need all wheel drive in the winter. My only gripe is that the basement was freezing, but there is a portable fireplace that helped with the heat. Overall, I would highly recommend and look forward to being a repeat renter.

Clean and beautiful mountain home with a great view of the mountains. The house is secluded and surrounded by plenty of trees. The driveway was challenging but so are many in the mountains. The house was well stocked with amenities and has a nice fire pit to roast marshmallows by.

Had a great time! This place is amazing and the views were spectacular! Everything was as advertised and the level of detail and thoughtfulness in every single amenity and extras were much appreciated! We will definitely be back!

Perfect in every way. Home is clean, comfortable, modern. The owners go out of their way to accommodate their guests. Home is very spacious (3 stories) with a huge deck with incredible views. Gas grill, fire pit, well supplied kitchen and bath rooms. The gas fireplace was a nice feature at night while watching TV. Zero problems during our stay and we will definitely be returning to this amazing property.

This served as the perfect place for a girls weekend getaway. The house was in wonderful shape - clean and had everything we could ask for. Communication with the owner was also very good as he always offered quick responses. Would recommend!!

Went with my family for Thanksgiving. Itd a Beautiful home with alot of attention to detail. Iv rented alot of places and this one had thought of everything you could ever need and had it available for you. Even included extra goodies plus coffee and teas. Beautiful spot hope to return soon and will be referring others.

Absolutely beautiful cabin with the luxury of a hotel. The view of the mountain at sunset after the storm painted a picture as if the mountain was on fire. Just fabulous. Lots of thought and care taken by owners with everything labeled, stocked kitchen, as well as extras like bath products and phone chargers. Will be back no question.

We loved this cabin and all the thoughtful details Beau provided! Most rentals look good in online photos but this place exceeded our expectations. We enjoy cooking most of our meals and this was the best equipped kitchen I’ve encountered. The knives were sharp, pots and pans seemed new, a full spice drawer and condiments in the refrigerator (I brought my own but nice to have backup if you forgot something). My college age kids were all over the snacks and trying out unusual tea selections. The views are wonderful, the porch furniture is decorated with cute pillows and blankets, the interior is comfortable with nice artwork. The fire pit was nice. I will say if you want mountain top views, you have to be willing to take a deep breath to navigate the steep driveway. It’s totally doable but the more timid drivers in our family let others take the wheel. We were in town for graduation and I wish we had found this cabin earlier. Much better than any of the hotels in the area. Thank you Beau for being a great host and sharing your cabin!

The view is breathtaking. We spent hours on the porch soaking in the mountains, wildflowers and beauty. The house was very clean, equipped and comfortable for our family. It was wonderful to relax by the firepit and watch the stars come out.

The house was beautiful and very well supplied with lots of nice touches like snacks, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Our group enjoyed the comfortable beds and cozy spaces along with the beautiful landscaping and gorgeous views. The property was very clean and inviting.

The Mountain Home is the most well appointed, beautiful home we have ever stayed. With multiple breathtaking views of the mountains this home makes you feel like you are in the middle them. Perfect location for Western Carolina University and has multiple wonderful hikes and adventures all around. Absolutely will book again when we come back
