We recently stayed here for 2 weeks and had guests stay with us on 2 occasions. It is a very pretty cottage and very spacious but is tired and worn. It is in a beautiful setting in a little hamlet, almost 6 miles out of Bourton on the Water. It is well stocked with crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. However,The carpeting is worn on some of the edges of the stairs, making it dangerous. When we arrived it seemed it had not been freshly cleaned. There were some dead flies on the window sills, carpet and the table top in the kitchen was dirty when wiped with a damp cloth. 3 of the 4 lights in the master bathroom were not working but the rental agency had them replaced. The TV was not working, the man who came to check it could only give us 1 channel which we had for the 2 weeks! However, fortunately, we are not big TV watchers. There was no safety rubber mat in the guest bath tub/shower - again dangerous. We very much enjoyed the little seating area in the garden for morning tea/coffee or a glass of wine in the early evening. There are some beautiful walks near to the cottage and the main roads are easily and quickly accessible for visits to other towns and villages. We loved this area of the UK.
