Casa Mere Hotel, Sure Collection by Best Western, Knutsford Cheshire

El sitio está bien para una noche de paso. No le pongo más nota porque la habitación olía fatal, entre tabaco y humedad. Por lo demás,todo bastante correcto y muy bien de precio.

No es que las fotos sean falsas pero...se hicieron con mucho cariño, con buena luz y posiblemente hace años. El hotel en general está bastante viejo. El cabezal de la cama es de lo más nuevo que hay y aun así parece reaprovechado de otro hotel. Las puertas estan repintadas de ese blanco hueso que hace antiguo. El pasillo huele a viejo. Las luces son demadiado amarillas y aun lo hace más viejo. El baño lo mismo. Cosas buenas: habitacion grande, cama bastante cómoda y baño limpio.

Nice clean room and bathroom. Shame there are no sockets next to bed. All staff were very polite and helpful. Evening meal was excellent and very tasty. Breakfast was a bit too greasy for us but we enjoyed it

It is a very dated hotel, and needs a refresh. The breakfast was good.

Hotel is easily missed from road when driving from Knutsford to Mere. No hotel sign visible. Although you do drive past a pub called The Kilton Inn which later found out to be actually the Ceasa Mere Hotel!!. Only when you drive into Knutsford from the motorway do you actually see hotel sign Casa Mere Hotel which is very tatty, one side missing and is set back from the road hidden by large brushes/trees. Outside first impression looks a bit dated and car park could do with tidying up. NOTE - car park is chargeable there are signs in the car park and inside pub. Make sure you enter your vehicle reg on the tablet inside pub otherwise will be fined. Take no notice of sign in car park advising charge overnight £2 when used the tablet it was actually £4.50. No mention of this fee on hotel website so basically a hidden extra cost. Checking in was poor. OK i was early by 1 hour with check in being at 3pm. Given only around 6 cars in car park and fact pub was empty weren't busy at all. I would therefore expect rooms to be free. Gentleman on desk point blank refused to open checkin until 3pm, Did not even offer to check to see if rooms were available and free, Customer service skills severely lacking. Turning to bedroom it was stifling hot unpleasant could not sleep. Room according to my booking was supposed to be deluxe (see photo), burn marks several on carpet (see photo), tatty marked chairs also stains on chairs (see photos). Breakfast mediocre, meal in evening ok
