Whitetail Ridge Cabin ,Sleeps 10

We had a girls weekend in Mochigan last weekend. We first went to the Landoll's Castle and toured the property and had lunch (wonderful visit). We then went to check in to this home for Friday and Saturday night. When we first arrived we looked around briefly and was impressed with the home. It was spacious and had the rooms we needed. Later when we were getting ready for bed and the girls staying in the master bedroom noticed and smell. As they looked around the room they noticed a dead mouse under the bed (yikes!). The mouse had to have been there for awhile due to the smell. Needless to say I texted the owner, but since it was late did not hear back from her until the morning. She sent someone over to remove the mouse and disinfect in the room. Of course, since no one wanted to sleep in that bedroom which also, had the other bathroom the 5 of us had to cram in the 3 bedrooms and 1 bath for the weekend. We understand that in the country you can get mice in your home, but we think the house should have been inspected before we came. Also, we noticed the home was not cleaned well. We feel if could use a deep cleaning... especially, when opened for the season. We made the best of the weekend and enjoyed our time together laughing, eating, crafting and playing games. We just left the master bedroom door closed the entire weekend.

Breathtaking property and extremely kid friendly. Our family had a blast exploring and enjoying every section of the garden and household areas. The hosts have thought of everything and have a well stocked kitchen with essentials and plenty for the kids to do inside and outside. Our favorite part was the water feature and fire pit area, so serene. We love how unique and well maintained the grounds were, just like a story book. Every room was spacious and the bathrooms were well maintained and clean. We would absolutely bring our family back here again!

I loved this property. Exactly what I was looking for. The only thing I would change, Would be to have a way to turn the barn light off. Really gets in the way of star gazing.

Whitetail Ridge Cabin was a wonderful home. The driveway was interesting, but we had no problems. The location, atop a ridge, was really nice. When we arrived, it was hard to imagine how large the house was, but it runs lengthwise along the ridge. Plenty of room for everyone to have some of their own space, and a large common area for games and movie watching (the WIFI was perfect for streaming on the TV we brought with us). As a mom, I really appreciated the mudroom area ... it kept the home from being cluttered with bins, coats, boots, etc. We have rented many vacation properties over the years, and Whitetail had the most comfortable beds EVER. Coffee Bar was really a treat! It was a little too cold and windy to enjoy the amazing yard and fire pit area, but we could imagine how beautiful it is in the spring and summer. All in all, wonderful property and wonderful property owners. Thank you, so much to the home owners, for saving our family Thanksgiving

The property was very nice. Hiking trails nearby for easy access. Also town is very close if you need anything.
