We took a few days to unwind and relax. We literally never left the cabin for 4 days. We streamed videos, played board games and hung out in the hot tub. The views from the decks are amazing. There is a full kitchen so we were able to bake and cook all of our meals. This is our 5th time renting the cabin, and we will definitely be back again.

The views from both decks are just AMAZING! So cool watching the clouds in the valley below in the mornings. And sunset is spectacular, especially from the hot tub. We really enjoyed watching the paragliders and hang gliders from the balcony. Great location for exploring Rock City, Chattanooga and Cloudland Canyon State Park (hike to Cherokee Falls is totally worth all the stairs). We also ventured about 45 minutes northwest near Jasper to Foster Falls where we were able to swim in the chilly water. It was so beautiful! We were pleasantly surprised by the local Canyon Grill. The food was all delicious and everyone was so friendly. So glad we gave it a try. The inside of this rental could use a little updating, but it was very clean and had everything that we needed to enjoy our stay. Overall we had a great stay and are thinking of trying to go back in the fall when the leaves change.

We loved every minute of our stay. The house is nice, comfortable, clean and cozy. It was just the two of us, so we had plenty of room to nest like a king and queen would. The deck, the hot tub the bed, the shower, the whole experience is Outstanding !!!

The cabin and location are amazing. Whether having coffee on the top deck in the morning or wine in the hot tub in the evening this place and the VIEW are amazing. There are many opportunities to watch hang gliders and paragliders since the launch is a few hundred yards up the scenic hwy... my wife was able to hang glide as well (tandem with a pilot)... if you're under 250# you can as well... we spent a couple days enjoying Chattanooga since it's roughly 15 miles away... lots to do and see but the cabin is the highlight.

What an amazing time we had over the July 4th weekend. We were in town to hike at Cloudland Canyons, and this home is close by. But as a bonus, we got STUNNING sunset views off the deck and had fun watching hang gliders soar nearby and then land in the valley below. The home was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen well stocked for cooking groceries we brought. The hot tub was clean and positioned for incredible sunset views. Previous reviews mentioned no deck furniture. That's due to the potential for high winds in that location. So we brought some fold-out chairs and it worked perfectly. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this quiet, comfortable, clean home and hope to return again!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! The property manager was very quick to respond to our concerns about the leaking fridge, broken window, and leaking window in the master bedroom. My husband picked up trash under the deck. There was a lot of beer cans, bottles, and plastic bags caught on the limbs by the cliffs. Maybe have the cleaners check every so often on the trash around the cliffs. The hot tub also had mold on the jets and in the water. I think it just needs a little TLC to get it back to a 5 star review, especially for the price. We had a great time and hope to come back. The best views we’ve ever experienced, for sure!

My husband, me, our grand daughter plus niece nephew, and great nephew came on a Thursday -Sunday. It was exactly as described. Only recommendation we have would be a bigger hot water tank. Hot don’t last long. We had a small problem when a window feel out of second floor but they was quick to respond and had it fix asap. Very easy communication and clean. Best view I have had.

About 15-30 minutes from most activities we did, the views are incredible and it was so nice watching the sun rise and set over the mountains. Incredibly clean and had everything we needed (even lots of throw blankets!!) Well be back!

If you want a great view , don't miss this place. and intertainment to boot in the way of hang gliders on the weekend... But be prepared for stairs. A bit much for the elderly. The bed in the bedroom was soooo comfy. Housekeeping was great. Hot tub a plus.

Stone lodge was perfect! The house was clean and had great views of Lookout Mountain. We could watch people hang gliding from the porch and land in the valley; great views of the sunset too. The bed was way too to soft for my preference, but I just prefer a firm mattress. Would love to stay here again!

Our 8 night stay at Stone Ledge was great! The cabin was incredibly clean, and well stocked. The real winner here though are the views! The views from the porches are phenomenal and made the entire trip. We found the bed comfortable, and the location perfect, being only 10 minutes from town and 30 from Chattanooga (if you don’t mind twisty mountain roads every time you need to leave). I do wish the kitchen had a few more things, but I’ve had that issue with every cabin, and we had to go buy hangers for our clothes. We also had raccoons visit and get into the trash that was still waiting to be picked up from previous guests all week. Also, expect very many spiders outside on the decks! It is basically in the woods after all. These were minor inconveniences that didn’t take away from the trip at all! Unique stays had great communication and has definitely mastered hosting. I would stay with them again in a heartbeat. Thanks for a great vacation!

We have stayed at a few cabins in the mountains with amazing balconies and views but this location is really unique. The cliff edge and height with hang gliders and a hot tub with a swing seat made it really nice. The house is perfect for our family of 4. The king bed is on the bottom floor with its only bathroom and separate living room area and access to one of the balconies with the hot tub. The kids liked the bunk bed but we didn’t let them sleep on the top bunk because it didn’t have a safety bar so we used the sofa bed (there are 2) but they are just sofa mattresses. There is a ton of windows so if you don’t sit on the balcony (it’s windy on some days (you need to secure chairs and the hot tub too because of the strong winds but the views from the inside is amazing too! The only room to sleep in with shades is the master. The bunk and sofa beds don’t have shades. Bring an eye mask if needed. The fire place, dinging table, comfortable furniture and kitchen with what you need to cook and eat in. It’s a great place and would recommend everyone to check it out.

The perfect hideaway!! We had the best time at Stone Ledge! Couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful view. I think we had an even better view than rock city. If you even want to leave the house, it is not a long drive to Chattanooga at all. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at this home! The view is what sold me on the rental and it did not disappoint! It was amazing at all times of the day, but it was spectacular at sunset! The cabin itself was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed! There is a dip in the middle of the bed, but it was still comfortable! It was also really cool to be able to see hang gliders go by the property! I definitely recommend this rental and would stay here again!

The house was easy to find and had an amazing view. The only issue we had was the drier, it would get hot, but not tumble. Quick text to management and they offered to fix it, but it wasn’t an issue for us. I’m sure it’ll be a quick and easy fix. Very fast internet!!! Which is a plus with kids. I recommend eating at 1885 and Massey’s !!!

This property was WONDERFUL! THE VIEWS ARE STUNNING! Everything was very clean! I especially liked the little attention to detail items like hand soap in the bathrooms and shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the shower and tub. The property managers would check in on us and make sure we had everything we needed! The space was very clean and super cozy! We would DEFINITELY stay again!

The house was very nice and fully furnished with everything you could possibly need to be comfortable for the week. From the fully furnished kitchen to the bathroom supplies, there is very little you have to bring with you. We docked a star only because of a challenge we ran into early, between VRBO, the host, and our travel insurance not working, but this has nothing to do with the house itself or the location. After, that initial challenge both VRBO and the host were very pleasant to deal with and very attentive to our needs and communication. Would absolutely recommend staying here for the view alone, but other aspects as well. The hot tub on the deck overlooking the valley was worth the price of the trip by itself!

The house was easy to find and had an amazing view. The only issue we had was the drier, it would get hot, but not tumble. Quick text to management and they offered to fix it, but it wasn’t an issue for us. I’m sure it’ll be a quick and easy fix. Very fast internet!!! Which is a plus with kids. I recommend eating at 1885 and Massey’s !!!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! The property manager was very quick to respond to our concerns about the leaking fridge, broken window, and leaking window in the master bedroom. My husband picked up trash under the deck. There was a lot of beer cans, bottles, and plastic bags caught on the limbs by the cliffs. Maybe have the cleaners check every so often on the trash around the cliffs. The hot tub also had mold on the jets and in the water. I think it just needs a little TLC to get it back to a 5 star review, especially for the price. We had a great time and hope to come back. The best views we’ve ever experienced, for sure!

Our 8 night stay at Stone Ledge was great! The cabin was incredibly clean, and well stocked. The real winner here though are the views! The views from the porches are phenomenal and made the entire trip. We found the bed comfortable, and the location perfect, being only 10 minutes from town and 30 from Chattanooga (if you don’t mind twisty mountain roads every time you need to leave). I do wish the kitchen had a few more things, but I’ve had that issue with every cabin, and we had to go buy hangers for our clothes. We also had raccoons visit and get into the trash that was still waiting to be picked up from previous guests all week. Also, expect very many spiders outside on the decks! It is basically in the woods after all. These were minor inconveniences that didn’t take away from the trip at all! Unique stays had great communication and has definitely mastered hosting. I would stay with them again in a heartbeat. Thanks for a great vacation!

My husband, me, our grand daughter plus niece nephew, and great nephew came on a Thursday -Sunday. It was exactly as described. Only recommendation we have would be a bigger hot water tank. Hot don’t last long. We had a small problem when a window feel out of second floor but they was quick to respond and had it fix asap. Very easy communication and clean. Best view I have had.

Location is good with attractions very close by. Little bit of a drive to get groceries and stuff. The view was fantastic with hang gliders passing by daily during our stay. On the negative side, frying pans need to be replaced and outdoor dinning set is pretty beat up. Overall a great place to stay

Simply incredible! The view was beautiful and the location was private but if you need anything like groceries or food it’s just a 10 minute drive down the mountain! If you’re on the fence about renting this place don't be I promise you won’t regret it!

The perfect hideaway!! We had the best time at Stone Ledge! Couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful view. I think we had an even better view than rock city. If you even want to leave the house, it is not a long drive to Chattanooga at all. We will definitely be back.

Our 8 night stay at Stone Ledge was great! The cabin was incredibly clean, and well stocked. The real winner here though are the views! The views from the porches are phenomenal and made the entire trip. We found the bed comfortable, and the location perfect, being only 10 minutes from town and 30 from Chattanooga (if you don’t mind twisty mountain roads every time you need to leave). The pictures don’t do this place justice. When you first get here, you have to go straight to the deck to take in the amazing view. This place really feels like a home and you feel a bit guilty that there isn’t a family living here permanently. It feels very cozy, very bright and warm because of all the windows and wood inside the house. It feels very secluded and private - you have only one neighbor, although you can’t see the house from this one. It’s a 15 minute drive to the nearest grocery store. Only three things that some people may not like: there aren’t any blinds/curtains for the upstairs windows, although I never felt like anyone would be able to see into the house. Also, if you’re staying here it makes more sense to buy groceries and cook most your meals, because of the drive all the way up and down the mountains to go into town - not to mention that it really is a small town with few restaurants that might not be that good (prices for groceries were pretty good!). Third - if you are a person of color, keep in mind the area you are in - you will most likely be the only non-white person wherever you go! I didn’t have any issues with feeling uncomfortable or singled out (everyone was nice and polite), but everyone’s experience will be different and this may make some uncomfortable. Everything worked exactly as it should, no issues with the fridge/AC/washer-drier etc. Host communication was great and timely! Pro tip: keep in mind that they don’t allow alcohol

This property was WONDERFUL! THE VIEWS ARE STUNNING! Everything was very clean! I especially liked the little attention to detail items like hand soap in the bathrooms and shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the shower and tub. The property managers would check in on us and make sure we had everything we needed! The space was very clean and super cozy! We would DEFINITELY stay again!

We took a few days to unwind and relax. We literally never left the cabin for 4 days. We streamed videos, played board games and hung out in the hot tub. The views from the decks are amazing. There is a full kitchen so we were able to bake and cook all of our meals. This is our 5th time renting the cabin, and we will definitely be back again.

The views from both decks are just AMAZING! So cool watching the clouds in the valley below in the mornings. And sunset is spectacular, especially from the hot tub. We really enjoyed watching the paragliders and hang gliders from the balcony. Great location for exploring Rock City, Chattanooga and Cloudland Canyon State Park (hike to Cherokee Falls is totally worth all the stairs). We also ventured about 45 minutes northwest near Jasper to Foster Falls where we were able to swim in the chilly water. It was so beautiful! We were pleasantly surprised by the local Canyon Grill. The food was all delicious and everyone was so friendly. So glad we gave it a try. The inside of this rental could use a little updating, but it was very clean and had everything that we needed to enjoy our stay. Overall we had a great stay and are thinking of trying to go back in the fall when the leaves change.

The property views are unbelievable! Make sure you are there at sunset. You only get one towel per person so we brought more. I didnt want to wash for 3 days. Plus you need them for the hot tub. Bring a large frying pan if you are cooking. Upstairs beds have a plastic covering on the mattresses my adult kids didnt enjoy that. Master bedroom was very comfortable. No keurig.

We have stayed at a few cabins in the mountains with amazing balconies and views but this location is really unique. The cliff edge and height with hang gliders and a hot tub with a swing seat made it really nice. The house is perfect for our family of 4. The king bed is on the bottom floor with its only bathroom and separate living room area and access to one of the balconies with the hot tub. The kids liked the bunk bed but we didn’t let them sleep on the top bunk because it didn’t have a safety bar so we used the sofa bed (there are 2) but they are just sofa mattresses. There is a ton of windows so if you don’t sit on the balcony (it’s windy on some days (you need to secure chairs and the hot tub too because of the strong winds but the views from the inside is amazing too! The only room to sleep in with shades is the master. The bunk and sofa beds don’t have shades. Bring an eye mask if needed. The fire place, dinging table, comfortable furniture and kitchen with what you need to cook and eat in. It’s a great place and would recommend everyone to check it out.

What an amazing time we had over the July 4th weekend. We were in town to hike at Cloudland Canyons, and this home is close by. But as a bonus, we got STUNNING sunset views off the deck and had fun watching hang gliders soar nearby and then land in the valley below. The home was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen well stocked for cooking groceries we brought. The hot tub was clean and positioned for incredible sunset views. Previous reviews mentioned no deck furniture. That's due to the potential for high winds in that location. So we brought some fold-out chairs and it worked perfectly. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this quiet, comfortable, clean home and hope to return again!

I didn’t have any issues with feeling uncomfortable or singled out (everyone was nice and polite), but everyone’s experience will be different and this may make some uncomfortable. Everything worked exactly as it should, no issues with the fridge/AC/washer-drier etc. Host communication was great and timely! Pro tip: keep in mind that they don’t allow alcohol
The pictures don’t do this place justice. When you first get here, you have to go straight to the deck to take in the amazing view. This place really feels like a home and you feel a bit guilty that there isn’t a family living here permanently. It feels very cozy, very bright and warm because of all the windows and wood inside the house. It feels very secluded and private - you have only one neighbor, although you can’t see the house from this one. It’s a 15 minute drive to the nearest grocery store. Only three things that some people may not like: there aren’t any blinds/curtains for the upstairs windows, although I never felt like anyone would be able to see into the house. Also, if you’re staying here it makes more sense to buy groceries and cook most your meals, because of the drive all the way up and down the mountains to go into town - not to mention that it really is a small town with few restaurants that might not be that good (prices for groceries were pretty good!). Third - if you are a person of color, keep in mind the area you are in - you will most likely be the only non-white person wherever you go! Our second stay here. We love it! Beautiful views that you can enjoy from the hot tub. Close to amazing waterfall hikes. Perfect size for our family of four.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was exactly as advertised, and the hot tub with the amazing views was definitely a highlight. One of our favorite parts was sitting on the balcony in the morning with a cup of coffee watching the hang gliders. Such a peaceful experience. The kitchen was very well stocked and the outdoor grill looked great, although we did not end up cooking during our stay. The full size washer and dryer was also a huge bonus.One thing to note for families traveling with small children is that the upstairs bunk bed loft area does not have a bathroom on that level, which could be challenging during the night for little ones. The cabin is spread across three levels, so there are quite a few stairs. However, the first level does have a bedroom and bathroom, along with a sitting area and mini refrigerator, which would work well for anyone with mobility concerns.Overall, we highly recommend this cabin and would absolutely stay here again.

Overall great stay with amazing views! There were a couple issues while we were there (broken window, broken freezer, bugs in the master bedroom and one day a terrible rotten egg smell from downstairs) but those were pretty much out of the owners control and we understand that these things happen. The customer service team made sure everything was taken care of in a timely manner. We would come back again for sure!
