This unit was very clean and the check-in was easy, with the owner providing a key code for entry. As there is no driveway we had to park in the street, but that was not a big problem. The screened and glassed in front porch would be nice in cooler weather, as it is it was rather airless and the windows were not easily opened.

Great location and nice furnishings. Important to know that there is no oven but you can do plenty of cooking with the plug-in stove top.

The living space was nice, the bed was comfy, the bathroom was nice, and everything was very clean when we arrived. Our only complaints were that the neighbors in the attached unit were a bit loud, as was the A/C, but we got used to the latter one. Note that there is no dishwasher, but the sink was nicely set up for hand washing dishes.

Good location Suggestions: We didn't realize there was a fan in the bedroom closet. Because there is no A/C in the bedroom, it got pretty hot in there during the night, so you'll want to get that fan set up before going to sleep to blow the A/C from the living area into the bedroom. There is nowhere in the bathroom to put your toiletries except on the toilet, so a bag that hooks onto a handle would be nice to have. (There is a shelf but it had towels on it and I didn't want to put the towels on the floor to use the shelf) Very clean except used coffee filter left in coffee maker - not a big deal, because everything else was very nice.

We loved our Stay at the house. It was pretty easy to communicate with the owner and check in process was easy. House was nice and clean. Kitchen had all the basic amenities. I would recommend everyone to stay at this place.

Very comfortable setting. Home is well appointed with everything which would be needed. It is in the towns medical area which is very quiet after 5pm. Walking distance to the Horsefly Brewery (Food and good selection of beer). Only a short drive to Ouray, Black Canyon, and the million dollar highway.

We really enjoyed this place in downtown Montrose, comfortable, efficient and close to everything. Just still wishing we could have figure out how to use the high-tech induction cooktop as it would have made our home-cooked meals a much better experience.

Came in to visit our son for his Birthday the place was lovely. Clean and orderly the only thing is we could not get the hot plate to stay on but no worries. We will stay here again.

I was traveling on a Sunday from Pahrump, NV and needed a place in Montrose. VRBO wouldn’t allow me to book for a same day arrival, so I planned to sleep in my car (no big deal). Rachelle quickly responded and told me the house was available and I could check in today! She made those arrangements on her end I was able to check in at about 2100 hours after a long 9 hour drive… I entered the cute home. To be brief, I determined the home had not been cleaned or reset from the previous guests. I cleared out the pile of used towels, found clean ones and closed up the fold away bed/couch. Luckily, the previous renters were clean people and the home looks like a newly remodeled model home! I emailed Rachelle and she made arrangements to have the house cleaned and reset the next day after the time I said I was going out. In fact, the cleaner arrived at 1015. To be specific, the condition in which I found the home on arrival was very clean; it just hadn’t been reset. This house cleaner than most of the hotels I’ve stayed in during all of my travels. I will definitely stay here again, when I bring my family to Montrose, 100%. Interacting with Rachelle via email and over the phone was fast and effortless! I really appreciate the level of customer service I experienced and am very satisfied. I’ll repeat in saying I will stay here again! Don’t hesitate to book this location! It’s nice 5 minute walk west into downtown where you can find coffee/breakfas.

This property is blocks from downtown Montrose with easy access to the San Juans to the south, the Uncompahgre Plateau to the west, Grand Mesa and the Colorado National Monument to the north, and the Curecanti National Recreation Area to the east. The unit is clean and equipped with everything needed to base your Colorado adventures from.

This is a very clean and comfortable place to stay. Plenty of room and the host was quick to respond to my questions. I will stay here again if it is available!

This is a very well appointed rental. Everything looks new and is very clean. The mattress is very comfortable and the shower works great. The keypad lock works flawlessly, and I know from experience that they don't always work this well. Very quiet neighborhood. No complaints!

Always nice to have a king bed. Perfect place, roomy, comfortable and right in town but on a quiet street. Has everything needed. I'm a frequent short term renter and this is one of the nicest, I like a place that makes me feel at home.

Stayed with our family to visit the Black Canyon of the Gunnison. It was clean and met our needs. The bed was comfortable and the fan was much appreciated to cool the bedroom as the A/C is in the main part of the place. Access to the bathroom is through the bedroom and there is a door in the bathroom that appears to adjoin to the other rental property. We could hear guests on the other side and the door knob was not locked, which did not feel the most comfortable, though there was a hotel latch that prevented the door from opening fully. I don't recall this in the description of the listing. I also agree that additional storage/shelving in the bathroom would be beneficial.

We booked this cute little place and it was a perfect visit. It was clean, an oprn floor plan, with a nice enclosed porch. My wife enjoyed the porch every morning with her cofee and the news. The neighborhood is quiet and we had no issues. The owners were very reaponsive to emails, making communcation very easy.
