Owl's Nest: A Pet-Friendly Nature Lover's Getaway near Wineries & Hiking Trails

We loved our stay at this tucked away property, that was recently renovated, clean, and comfortable. Loved how quiet and serene it was.

The place was beautiful. Host was easy to get in touch with and we had a lovely time.

We really enjoyed OwlsNest. The quiet, isolated location was just what we wanted. The nearby hiking was great. The house was very comfortable though a few areas needed a little bit of TLC. Hosts provided a nice selection of teas and coffees.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Owl’s Nest! We were looking for a remote hideaway with proximity to activities in the region, and this lovely place in the woods fit the bill for us. It is very private, has nice kitchen facilities and a washer/dryer, and is very clean and has lovely interior design. The private path in the woods was perfect for walking our dog, and the honor grocery store down the road provided farm fresh eggs for our breakfast. Be aware that the road to the Owl’s Nest is a bit windy and narrow, but it is worth it when you get there. Check-in was easy, and the host was a prompt communicator. Bonus: sparkling apple cider from a local orchard was waiting on our arrival. We loved this quiet spot and are already thinking about when we can come back!

Perfection. A screened-in porch, hammock, fire pit, and so many glorious windows with nature all around— this was the blissful retreat I needed. Everything about the house was charming, including the guidebooks included in the stay, the complimentary coffee, tea, and local sparkling apple juice. I was able to bring my pup, who had a ball running around the woods finding new sticks to show us. I cannot recommend this home more.
