Zeit Häuschen. 8 km zum Blenheim Palace, gute Anbindung an die Cotswolds

The propert is lovely, quaint and unusual in its layout, which greatly pleased our grandchildren. The grounds surrounding the house are delightful. Our host was very accommodating, which we much appreciated.

Our family (6 adults and 3 children ages 7-8) loved the property. There was plenty of room for everyone and the children loved the playground and, especially the Arctic Cabin. The backyard provided everyone with hours of viewing fun as deer, rabbits, pheasants and plenty of other birds were always around. They were never bored. We used our rental home as a base to explore the Cotswolds. Blenheim Palace (15 min), Cotswold Wildlife Park (25 minutes), Stratford Upon Avon (30 minutes), Warwick Castle (40 minutes) were all places we enjoyed as well as catching a train from Oxford Parkway to London (1 hr 5 min) for a day trip. The house is located in Stonesfield which has a small market and a recently reopened pub (on the day we left) but towns where we visited for stores and restaurants included Witney (10 min), Woodstock (10 min), Charlbury (10 min). All of the restaurants we visited were wonderful and had menus that were diverse enough to accommodate all of our family. The home itself is a bit quirky and the layout takes awhile to get used to with a couple of stairways leading to the upstairs. The house was well stocked with plates, glasses, silverware, etc. It is a place we would go back to again.

Beautiful house with luxurious and comfortable rooms. It was perfect for our group of 8 women have a lovely reunion weekend together. Heidi was available and helpful with a couple of things.

A super interesting family home. Comfortable and cosy with lots of history . Very nice touches and well resouced kitchen. The setting is stunning and village is beautiful to walk around and explore. Thank you Heidi for the attention to detail and making us welcome.

Tucked away in delightful village. Lots of bedroom space and well stocked kitchen. Good dog walk on Oxfordshire Way nearby. Worth checking heating/hot water program timings on arrival.
