A lovely, cozy, well-appointed, clean, and fun cabin perched on a beautiful lake, complete with boat/gear and direct lake access from the property. We were hoping for nicer more spring like weather, but the cabin was nice and cozy, and perfect for the unanticipated April snow weekend, and we had a great family getaway all the same. The host was very responsive and super helpful when the larger than expected snowfall came. Great location, nice cabin, beautiful lake and awesomw host-- highly recommended.

Very cute lake house right on the water. The pictures posted are exactly what you get. Communication with Kasia was great, and there were thoughtful touches everywhere. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you might possibly need and the view from the comfy sofa was awesome. The king bed was comfy and the a/c's were very nice. We didn't use the bunk bed other than for clothes, but it did seem pretty wobbly. The deck and the dock were awesome and that's where we spent most of our time, watching the beautiful lake.The firepit was great but it would be nice to have some firewood on site. We drove to many places looking for some without luck, ended up gathering enough on property for a quick fire. There's a beautiful community pool and beach right across the lake from the house which was very nice. (Admission badges included) The only negative, and certainly out of the owners control. there were a lot of houses in a state of disrepair and neglect in the community. All in all, a very nice and relaxing lake vacation. Thank you for opening your cute lake house to us.

The property was nicely located on the lake. The dock was wonderful. From 1 pm on it was shaded. Sitting by the lake was definitely the highlight of this stay. The house was abundantly stocked with supplies, etc. Supposedly this community has 4 different swimming pools, but the one closest to the house is beautiful. Being able to hand feed the deer was another treat. I'd recommend this property. The friendly host mentioned that the row boat had a dent in it, in which it did, but it did not affect its performance. We were able to row on the lake. I would recommend this and I'd definitely consider staying here again.

We had a lovely visit in the cute cabin! The owner even came and set up the inflatable boat for us, which we enjoyed going out on! We tried fishing off the dock, didn’t get too many bites enjoyed hiking at the state park and going down to the Amish Market on Saturday!

We had a great time at the lake house! We are a family of four, 9 and 12 year old boys. We loved using the dock for daily fishing and lake front fun. We caught tons of fish! We also used the community amenities, pool, beach, mini golf, and snack shack at the pool. While we didn’t feel totally safe riding our bikes to the pool, people were driving a bit fast on the main road, we did take a bike ride to the other end of the lake and did some fishing down there too. There were many animal sightings! Tons of deer, chipmunks, skunk, and a bear walked through the yard, which was a highlight of my son’s visit! The house had everything we needed. Being that we had great weather, we didn’t spend a lot of time inside. There’s not a whole lot to do outside of the gated community, but we kept busy with what the lake had to offer.

Our family (4 adults and 1 8 year-old child) spent 6 days/nights at the Chalet. It suited our needs perfectly. The cabin was exceptionally clean, and provided for all our needs including sheets, towels, kitchen accessories, even paper towels and tissues. We had some chilly days, so were happy to curl up with of some of the throw blankets in the living room. Even though we had some cool and rainy days we made extensive use of the dock, boats, lake and campfire ring. All of our family were out at the lake, on the deck or in the yard each day and night. Since it was cool we did not visit the community pools. We had great fun feeding local wildlife including deer and Canadian Geese - both of which let us feed them from our hands. If you are staying for a few days, run over to Walmart and get a bag of deer food(loose corn kernels) - I assure you that you will be richly rewarded. What a special wildlife experience. Kasia was wonderful, responding quickly to each email inquiry, and even providing me with some local polish grocery recommendations. We treated ourselves to homemade pierogi and kielbasa. What a treat! We look forward to visiting again another time - perhaps in the winter when we can take advantage of local skiing. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Such a nicely appointed, well-stocked property. I have slight mobility problems so the walk-in shower and the easy stroll to the lake dock (great for fishing!) were appreciated. Very clean with comfortable furnishings. I would definitely return for another stay.

My husband and I and our 2 great danes had a lovely long weekend here. The house was clean and has everything you need to be comfortable. We did a little fishing off the dock and caught a few sunnies, blue gill and bass. Beautiful setting right on the lake!

We really enjoyed our stay at the lake house. It was very clean and cozy with a lot of holiday decorations. The house is right on the lake with a great view. Make sure to bring current car registration with you as you will need it when checking in with the community.

Very welcoming and cozy cabin right on the lake. Cabin had everything we needed for our stay. It is centrally located to numerous outdoor winter activities (ice skating, snow shoeing, tubing, skiing, and more) and food and shopping were close by as well. The house was extremely pet friendly and my husband and I along with our two dogs had a blast playing and hiking in the snow! We hope to return and highly recommend staying at this place if you enjoy the outdoors and nature.

Everything about this place was amazing from the moment I booked it. Plenty of contact with owner. Super easy check in. The place had everything we needed. Super comfortable beds and couch. My dog bee lined to the doggie bed and it was his favorite spot all week. Can't wait to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful lakeside property. This is located inside an HOA area that has some serious efforts to only allow entry of only approved people. I see this as a GOOD THING. If you follow the owners guide it's "a piece of cake". The owner is VERY prompt on all inquires, and I felt the home was exceptionally appointed. We are a single couple with a small well behaved dog who used the comfortable king bed. There were accommodations for more, but you will need to review these to see if it works for you. There was a dock and fire pit should you want to use, but we didn't. We loved having coffee on the front porch which receives the morning sun with our dog. Plenty of great restaurants in the area. We especially liked Mi Casa a Spanish restaurant that serves Mexican as well, and the expensive Japanese restaurant Desaki (tons of food). We were 1st time renters on Verbo, but the experience was wonderful.

This home is very welcoming. Even our dog was supplied dishes, treats & a bed. The kitchen was well stocked, the bed comfortable & the lake view magnificent. Sitting on the dock or viewing the lake from the deck or house was very relaxing. We didn't use the boats but might on future visits. It was just the 2 of us (3 with our pup) but there is room for a family or even a few friends getting together. On rainy days there are some games & books or just relax & watch the wildlife that visits. There is also plenty to do in the area & Kasia is very prompt in answering any questions.

This was our second time staying here in the winter, so it was familiar. We're very comfortable with this rental. It has everything you need, it's clean and has modern amenities, it's in a quiet neighborhood, the backyard opens up to a beautiful lake. My favorite room is the open living room/dining room with the high ceiling, beautiful view and cozy fireplace. Central location for hiking, skiing and casinos. We went for a 5 mile hike in Tobyhanna State Park, which is just down the road. Absolutely breathtaking. Mohegan Sun casino is only 40 minutes away. We also walked around the lake. It's an easy, peaceful walk. This cabin is now our annual winter getaway. We plan on staying here in the summer too. Can't wait to kayak in the lake.

It has everything you need, it's clean and has modern amenities, it's in a quiet neighborhood, the backyard opens up to a beautiful lake. My favorite room is the open living room/dining room with the high ceiling, beautiful view and cozy fireplace. Central location for hiking, skiing and casinos. A lovely, cozy, well-appointed, clean, and fun cabin perched on a beautiful lake, complete with boat/gear and direct lake access from the property. We were hoping for nicer more spring like weather, but the cabin was nice and cozy, and perfect for the unanticipated April snow weekend, and we had a great family getaway all the same. The host was very responsive and super helpful when the larger than expected snowfall came. Great location, nice cabin, beautiful lake and awesomw host-- highly recommended.

Very cute lake house right on the water. The pictures posted are exactly what you get. Communication with Kasia was great, and there were thoughtful touches everywhere. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you might possibly need and the view from the comfy sofa was awesome. The king bed was comfy and the a/c's were very nice. We didn't use the bunk bed other than for clothes, but it did seem pretty wobbly. The deck and the dock were awesome and that's where we spent most of our time, watching the beautiful lake.The firepit was great but it would be nice to have some firewood on site. We drove to many places looking for some without luck, ended up gathering enough on property for a quick fire. There's a beautiful community pool and beach right across the lake from the house which was very nice. (Admission badges included) The only negative, and certainly out of the owners control. there were a lot of houses in a state of disrepair and neglect in the community. All in all, a very nice and relaxing lake vacation. Thank you for opening your cute lake house to us.

A very good experience, smooth and early check in and had very good communication with Kasia, the owner. She was very accommodating and understanding with requests or circumstances for things out of my control. One of the better stays I’ve had and the home itself is a nice smaller place that was perfectly easy to manage between me and my girlfriend. Beautiful view of the lake and it’s also a short drive from many amenities, was very happy.

Lovely property on the edge of a small lake with nature trees and a fire pit. Plenty of wildlife. 6 deer walked through the property and bedded down in the neighbors yard. Kitchen well stocked. Kasia was excellent with her communication. The check in process was a bit tedious, but not oppressive, at the welcome center where they require each vehicle entering the property to show registration and driver’s license to get a security pass. We checked in on a Friday evening, and there was a significant number of people doing the same. I would stay again.

Kasia was amazing to communicate with and was extremely responsive to all messages. The house was very cozy, just big enough for our family of 4 and two dogs - there were even dog bowls, treats and a bed for them! The kitchen had most everything we needed to cook in each day. The lake was nice and relatively quiet during the week, but if you are looking for a secluded get away, this may not be the place to go. The houses are right on top of each other and if you have a noisy (or stinky) neighbor it can effect your time. We only had to deal with that for 2 of our 5 days. There are lots of activities for the kids to do; swimming pool and paddle boats a short bike ride away, in addition to the boats provided by the owner. If I were to give any feedback it would be to offer a kayak or two and a couple of places to lounge outside (hammock, lounge chair, etc...). Overall this was a fantastic vacation and the house was otherwise perfect.

We had an excellent stay on the lake. The house was cute, very clean, and very comfortable. We loved the views of the lake from the deck and the main room. The house was also stocked with anything you could need! The owner was easy to reach and incredibly responsive to any questions we had.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful lakeside property. This is located inside an HOA area that has some serious efforts to only allow entry of only approved people. I see this as a GOOD THING. If you follow the owners guide it's "a piece of cake". The owner is VERY prompt on all inquires, and I felt the home was exceptionally appointed. We are a single couple with a small well behaved dog who used the comfortable king bed. There were accommodations for more, but you will need to review these to see if it works for you. There was a dock and fire pit should you want to use, but we didn't. We loved having coffee on the front porch which receives the morning sun with our dog. Plenty of great restaurants in the area. We especially liked Mi Casa a Spanish restaurant that serves Mexican as well, and the expensive Japanese restaurant Desaki (tons of food). We were 1st time renters on Verbo, but the experience was wonderful.

Check-In was a little stressful because it's a gated community and you have to check in to get your gate pass. They were slow, causing a long line. I think they were on Island time. Besides that, our stay was great. The weather wasn't warm enough to enjoy the water amenities. But it was nice for a fire in the backyard. We enjoyed the wildlife and the peaceful down time.

Very welcoming and cozy cabin right on the lake. Cabin had everything we needed for our stay. It is centrally located to numerous outdoor winter activities (ice skating, snow shoeing, tubing, skiing, and more) and food and shopping were close by as well. The house was extremely pet friendly and my husband and I along with our two dogs had a blast playing and hiking in the snow! We hope to return and highly recommend staying at this place if you enjoy the outdoors and nature.

Overall, the cottage was very nice, but the neighborhood was quite cramped with houses in various states of disrepair. Much garbage strewn about the streets and the roads had a lot of potholes. Kasia was very kind, however, and the home environment was cozy.

Very relaxing week. We visited family and friends while there and also did a little gambling at Mt. Airy. Restaurants (good ones) are hard to find. Watch your step when walking to the lake - lots of rocks, roots and deer poop. Beautiful view of the lake.

Perfect little getaway. Great location with the private dock and backyard lake! House was cozy and had everything you may need. The host, Kasia, was very responsive to our questions and emails. Fed deer in the backyard, used the boat and fished off the dock (even caught some blue gills) A great place to stay!

We absolutely loved this place it was so beautiful and quiet,which made it so relaxing and just what I was looking to find. My nephew and I went out on the canoe and did some fishing and the tempature was just wonderful our whole stay. I really can't say enough about this place and if you are looking for a quiet peaceful place to unwind then you will absolutely love this place. I stayed there for my Birthday and I am thinking this will be my place to stay from now on :)
