Beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Very easy stay. Cabin is super clean and attractive. Lovely grounds. Very easy arrival and departure. Good location. We highly recommend The Beautiful Apple Valley Cabin.

This cabin was very cozy, we all slept so comfortably. Was pretty clean except for a few little details including the shower floor. But nothing major. The cabin looks alone but it’s fairly close to the main house and you can see the neighbors back patio. Doesn’t feel too private on porch. Maybe if the door and patio were facing the back would make it much more private. This cabin is in my favorites because we really enjoyed our stay. If their was a way to park up close to load and unload our personal belongings would make this cabin 5 stars. Would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Forest and Ginger's cabin behind their house is a beautiful retreat for vacation. My partner and I stayed in the cabin during our visit to Yosemite; it's about an hour drive to the western park entrance, and about two hours from the cabin to the Yosemite Valley. The cabin itself is very well maintained and has everything you need (outside of an oven/range, but the owners have a nice gas grill outside for your use). We enjoyed walking around Sonora during our day off from hiking and had breakfast at Bon Appetit multiple times (excellent French pastries, quiche, and crepes). Overall, we highly recommend!

This property was perfect for a quiet solo getaway. Lots of comfy places to read and relax. Bed was comfortable. Enjoyed the fireplace. Saw deer lounging in the backyard and walking to the cidery was beautiful. The fees were a bit steep (especially the surprise damage deposit or flat fee one) but the cabin itself is wonderful.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay in this quaint, clean cabin where everything we could have wanted was provided. I would have given Forrest and Ginger a ten the very first day just for having the cabin cooled off when we arrived in a very hot day. I can’t say enough good things about our stay in this little haven. Our hosts were right on top of all correspondence and notifications. There standards are high and we hugely benefited. Thank you.

Dude this was the cutest little cabin ever I would definitely stay here again. Absolutely sooo clean and it had everything you need. The only complaint is the walk down to the actual cabin there is alot of steps so getting our luggage down there wasn’t fun at all. But it was so quiet and beautiful.

Beautiful cabin that was everything we wanted. Quiet and secluded and clean. Hosts were amazing and answered any questions I had quickly and thoroughly. Very clean and comfortable!

The cabin is super cozy, and a wonderful spot to relax and disconnect. From drinking coffee on the porch in the morning, to enjoying a fire in the gorgeous fire place, this cabin is great. Close proximity to Sonora, with a lot of fun shopping and places to eat/drink. Highly suggest checking out The Armory and taking a break at Indigeny Cidery.

The cabin was great for a weekend getaway. I planned on completing some sewing projects and it is a long haul to bring a machine down the hill and back. Brining down the firewood was easily done after venturing out for the day. Close to downtown Sonora and Columbia for day trips. Meals were easily accommodated with the microwave, coffee machine, small fridge and outdoor grill.
