What a perfectly lovely place that Chris and Veronika have created. We live in Nevada so we really appreciate green green grass and trees and hills! We had such a wonderful peaceful and relaxed time staying here for 3 days. Our dogs had fun with their dogs and we had a great time. Chris recommended some great restaurants. Our favorite were the hamburgers at Take-a-Bite in the Chevron gas station in Lotus. And the cottage was great. Loved everything about it, especially the hot tub and our hosts friendly and helpful personalities! We will be back…thank you for everything!

I woke up this morning wishing I could rewind time. Last weekend my husband, pup, and I decided to book a nearby vacation to visit the beautiful historical town of Coloma. We chose to stay here because it was on 5 acres and looked cozy. It was such a memorable, relaxing, trip. The hot tub at the end of hiking all the nearby trails at the end of the day was the icing on the cake. Chris was so kind and his dogs, Salami and Cash, were such sweethearts. Our pup got to roam the property which was amazing.

Christopher is a very kind and handful host. He answered right away with any questions I had. His place is very clean and nice. Has everything you need in the kitchen and the AC worked very well.

Christopher was a great host. This listing has everything you could need, including a full kitchen, large TV with multiple subscription services, large and clean hot tub, and friends (his dogs and tortoise)! The Keurig stopped working when we arrived, and he switched it out for another one immediately! What we really loved about the area was how peaceful it is. It's quiet, you can see the stars, and the bed is very comfortable! It's a great escape for people who are used to the city. There is some decent food about 10-15 minutes away, but I would say the majority of the good stuff is 20-25 minutes away so plan accordingly!

The owner was kind enough to ok my Son& daughter in law,who I included in my reservation to stay in the cabin without me.I was very I’ll 2 weeks prior to my check in date& had to cancel my trip to Placerville& Pollock Pines,Ca. the day before I was to fly up to Sacramento & my rental car& my planned visit to see my son& his Wife,who I hadn’t seen in 6 months& my daughter & 4&1/2 yr old Grandson who live on Oahu Hawaii who I hadn’t seen in 4months& my flight.i was very sad about the whole situation.I sent 2 emails to the owner 1 day before my reservation.I explained the situation& the very kind owner called me the next am& agreed to allow my son& his wife to stay in the cabin I had paid for. He was very kind and understanding.My son& daughter in law called me from the cabin& said it was very nice& clean,beautiful& they really enjoyed their stay there & really enjoyed the hot tub. Ty very much, I look forward to staying there one day soon. My Son& daughter in law highly recommend this rental cabin & really liked it very much.The owner is very kind& the price was very reasonably. Ty agsin Sir,God bless& Ty,Robyn M

Very cute guesthouse located next door to the main house. it had everything we needed and we loved using the grill. Also loved that we were able to take both our dogs without paying an extra fee! Owners were very friendly and helpful, and the checkin/out process was a breeze.

This is a great spot. It had everything we needed, everything was extremely clean, Chris was available if we needed him but gave us our space. Kitchen was fully stocked and the bed was comfortable, parking was easy, just a smooth seamless experience.

My husband and I stayed during Christmas week and the hosts were so hospitable! They have dogs and a turtle on the property which was the highlight for me. The amenities were great as well samsung tv and fridge. Perfect little get away!

My partner and I booked a 4 day stay at this property for our Anniversary and had a wonderful and relaxing time. Chris was a very knowledgeable and generous host. He provided insights on fun things to do in the area and gave us some delicious vegetables straight from his garden the day we arrived. He even let us feed his amazing tortoise, Leo! The property was very clean and had everything we could possibly need including wifi, streaming services, and cookware. Everything was set up with your utmost comfortablility in mind and Chris was always ready to accommodate any requests or questions. We would definitely book again!

The little house where we stayed was charming, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The hosts were hospitable and friendly, and they made both us and our dogs feel welcome. It was nice to walk around the property and explore a bit. It was a great way to get out of the city.

Wife and i had the best time. The hosts are really kind people, and they even had some furry friends(dogs) who greeted us, friendly. There's tons to do nearby. The home was beautiful, and the views were great. We'd recommend chris and Viktoria any time. You're missing out to not visit here. Thank you for the great memories.

Nestled in the Oak Trees we were so relaxed. The studio had a lot of special things to help you enjoy your visited. The owners thought of everything from a cozy night light, supplies and coffee. The studio kitchen was awesome. We were so cozy and conformable. Look forward to more stays.

Chris and Victoria are wonderful hosts. Arrival information was sent promptly (at least a day before arrival) and clear. It looked just like the photos, but was somehow even better. Very cozy, comfortable and clean. Loved the outdoor seating. We hope to return.

My partner and I booked a 4 day stay at this property for our Anniversary and had a wonderful and relaxing time. Chris was a very knowledgeable and generous host. He provided insights on fun things to do in the area and gave us some delicious vegetables straight from his garden the day we arrived. He even let us feed his amazing tortoise, Leo! The property was very clean and had everything we could possibly need including wifi, streaming services, and cookware. Everything was set up with your utmost comfortablility in mind and Chris was always ready to accommodate any requests or questions. We would definitely book again!

Stayed at this property from 9/22-9/23/23. This property is situated in a quiet neighborhood and quite a beautiful drive. Where deers will be out on the property at dusk and during dawn. The hosts were very friendly, and kept to themselves. There’s a tortoise! I will definitely consider this location first, and the next time I plan on a weekend getaway in the foothills.

Our host was accommodating, and the place was very clean and well equipped. There’s a charming African tortoise and a small herd of friendly dogs. The place is a bit remote from downtown Placerville (maybe 20 minutes?), but well situated to the American River.

I woke up this morning wishing I could rewind time. Last weekend my husband, pup, and I decided to book a nearby vacation to visit the beautiful historical town of Coloma. We chose to stay here because it was on 5 acres and looked cozy. It was such a memorable, relaxing, trip. The hot tub at the end of hiking all the nearby trails at the end of the day was the icing on the cake. Chris was so kind and his dogs, Salami and Cash, were such sweethearts. Our pup got to roam the property which was amazing.

Christopher was a great host. This listing has everything you could need, including a full kitchen, large TV with multiple subscription services, large and clean hot tub, and friends (his dogs and tortoise)! The Keurig stopped working when we arrived, and he switched it out for another one immediately! What we really loved about the area was how peaceful it is. It's quiet, you can see the stars, and the bed is very comfortable! It's a great escape for people who are used to the city. There is some decent food about 10-15 minutes away, but I would say the majority of the good stuff is 20-25 minutes away so plan accordingly!

Wife and i had the best time. The hosts are really kind people, and they even had some furry friends(dogs) who greeted us, friendly. There's tons to do nearby. The home was beautiful, and the views were great. We'd recommend chris and Viktoria any time. You're missing out to not visit here. Thank you for the great memories.

If you are in the coloma / placerville area or planning on doing some white water rafting, this is the place for you. Chris was very friendly and helpful. He let us charge our Tesla and even check in a day early due to Vrbo issues. I recommend using other platforms to stay here to avoid the issues we faced. The house is in a very quiet and peaceful area and the lake house is cool. Vibe and decor is eclectic and cozy but has everything you could need. It's very rural, surrounded by nature - we awoke to the sound of birds, which was delightful, but a few bugs found their way inside, which was less delightful, but expected. There are no mosquitoes even though there's a lake because the frogs eat them all - yay! There are ticks so make sure your dog is on preventatives. Everything was clean and towels were fluffy and looked new. Bed was incredibly comfy and kitchen was well equipped. Couch pulls out to make an extra queen bed. The only thing to mention is the kitchen table is a high top counter with stools, but we couldn't eat at it with our legs under the table, so we just ate breakfast standing up. If you're planning to eat all 3 meals here, that might be a tad bothersome. We were out during the day. The lake house is really neat, with a fireplace, a piano (some keys stick), and comfy chairs. It rained the whole time so we didn't get to use much of the patio chairs, firepits, hot tub etc. We'll have to return again when it's sunny! A wonderful stay and a wonderful place, all in all! Highly recommend.
