Très bel hôtel, avec parking directement accessible par ascenseur ( payant). Proximité du centre ville qui peut tout à fait être relié à pieds. Petits déjeuners bons mais pas au niveau

This hotel is very centrally located and the secure parking made it super easy as a stopover in Gouda. There were plenty of spaces in the underground car park and the lift went straight to hotel reception or to rooms (with scanning room key). Breakfast was really pleasant and staff were friendly. Our room was ideal for a family and had all the basics. Gouda is a lovely place!

This hotel is very centrally located and the secure parking made it super easy as a stopover in Gouda. Leider war das Zimmer nicht ordentlich sauber und aufgeräumt. In der Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer lagen noch verbrauchte Kaffeekapseln. Das war ziemlich unschön. Bei dem hohen Zimmerpreis hätte ich Besseres erwartet. Vor 3 Jahren als Best Western Hotel war das Niveau deutlich besser.

My room had two dirty cups in it and the toilet floor was dirty. When I looked for the receptionist he was nowhere to be seen - I had to ask a kitchen man for two clean cups. I was then really worried about the cleanliness of the whole room

Très bon séjour dans cet hôtel très bien situé et propre. Les chambres sont spacieuses et nous avions également une baignoire dont nous avons pu profiter. Je recommande cet établissement sans hésitations. Le personnel est également sympathique et accommodant car nous avons pu laisser nos bagages à la réception après le check out, afin de profiter de notre dernier jour avant le départ.

We love the close location to our relatives' home in Gouda. The shower being located outside the bathroom and having no door on the shower is not our preference. Otherwise, great breakfast and nice staff. Thank you!

Distance to central station was great but the noises! Could hear people talking, toilets flushing, not ours! If you dont like chirch bells going off constantly this is not the hotel for you!

Was pleasantly surprised but just how nice this hotel was. We had a lovely big room with a nice view. Great water pressure in the shower. Breakfast had lots of options.

Two night stay taking in the sights of Gouda and Delft .. nice location and overall quiet in spite of being in town. Only complaints were that the room wifi was weak (front desk said they were working on it) and it seemed odd that they stopped the free coffee in reception at 12 noon. Yes we had coffee pot and fixings in the room, but would have been nice to have a fancy coffee like cappuccino before bed. We stayed at Best Western in Groningen and there the machine was available 24 hours

Very nice hotel. The only problem was I had difficulty in getting in to the bath, and the floor of the bath was very slippery. Have a knee problem and it was not safe. I asked for a rubber slip mat, but there wasn’t one available.

The property was great, good location to town center and the train station. Staff were friendly and the lounge was a lot of fun. Room was typical European size but adequate for what I needed. My only complaint was the WiFi and that was my only connection to back home and there were 2 out of 5 nights where I had no signal at all. Very frustrating.

Never received the invoice for the tax. At lobby they committed te email the invoice. They later send a message through the Hotels.com app for check-in but no invoices. After several requests never answered….. Not serious for business travel….

No key was available when we arrived so we were taken to our room, awhile later another couple with the key and our room number walked into our room, I went down to reception and reported it and was finally given a key to our room but it did not work, back to reception. Later asked for a taxi for the following day and was told that they would ring us, nothing happened had to go back to reception. Not very happy with management of booking in etc.

Dicht bij het centrum en rustig 's avonds in de nacht. Mooie ruime kamer, hotel ziet er verder verzorgd uit. Personeel/receptie mag nog een tandje meer klantvriendelijk zijn. Vond het niet echt een warm welkom. Ons tweepersoonsbed, speciaal om gevraagd en 10 euro extra voor betaald, was doorgezakt en al lang aan vervanging toe. Ontbijt behoorlijk druk voor de faciliteiten, dat kon net.

De kwaliteit van het hotel was zeer goed en we hadden een zeer aangenaam verblijf. Vriendelijkheid van het personeel is ook zeer goed met uitzondering van de dame die ons bij aankomst incheckte, zij had duidelijk haar dag niet :-(

Very good stay in a lovely hotel that is within easy walking distance from the town centre and the train station. Gouda has got a range of lovely buildings and as it is celebrating 750 yrs we also managed to see the famous Glazen van Gouda in the St Jans church.

We love the close location to our relatives' home in Gouda. The shower being located outside the bathroom and having no door on the shower is not our preference. Otherwise, great breakfast and nice staff. Thank you!

Vriendelijk personeel , aangenaam hotel dichtbij het centrum, propere kamers alleen de airco was niet zo duidelijk hoe het werkte of misschien werkte hij niet maar dat was een klein probleem de rest maakte dit wel goed , onbijt was ook goed en gevarieerd lekker brood

The room was clean and quiet. Shower good and bed comfortable. Restaurant attached to hotel had a good menu. Walking distance to town centre and Gouda cheese factory. Paid parking within walking distance to hotel.

Helpful and friendly staff. Properly is clean. Under ten minute walk from train station. Also easy walk to historic center of town. Breakfast selection limited on certain days. Delayed placing out fresh cups for coffee and correct sized cups for hot chocolate which made machine use difficult.

Was pleasantly surprised but just how nice this hotel was. We had a lovely big room with a nice view. Great water pressure in the shower. Breakfast had lots of options.

Good, clean hotel. Properly located. Two minor sides is basic things like shampoo and conditioner in the showers. There is one body wash/shampoo in one that wrecked my hair. Second, breakfast is not included and very expensive compared to the local prices of food. It is much cheaper to get fresh breakfast from a supermarket close by.

Excellent location; within walking distance to the city center. Staff was mostly amazing...had only one incident where the front desk person was on the phone with a friend and rudely made me wait to attend to me. Other than that, an excellent stay. Air conditioning worked well during their historical heat wave that was happening while we were there. Breakfast was decent if you're considering adding that...hot and cold foods and a really good espresso machine. Nice bar area and sitting area where we were able to meet friends and have a snack/drink while we caught up. This hotel should be on your short list if you're visiting Gouda!

Accommodation good location good. Bar staff probably the worst I have ever came across in my life. Asked for a Cappuccino and was told coffee machine wasn't working, another member of staff asked me what I would like and I said a cappuccino but told her coffee machine wasn't working and she said it is and made the coffee. Then in the evening myself and 10 colleagues asked for drinks, we asked for Jameson Whisky was told they have whisky and was presented with a bottle of cocktail whisky. She then offered me a Hennessey, I said that's Brandy and she said "I know nothing about drinks." We then said ok we will have a Gin Tonic and could we see what Gin it was and she said she couldn't reach the bottle as it was up high! We left and went next door and spent a lot of money! Receptionist in the morning was very helpful which made a difference. 9 people from 4 Countries didn't leave a good impression!

We had only one incident, where the front desk person was on her phone with a friend, and made me wait to order some drinks/snacks, even holding up her finger to me to stop talking to her while she was still listening to her friend on her phone. Outside of that one rude incident, the staff were amazing and we had a wonderful time! Such a great location in a beautiful town...everything is easily walkable. Air conditioning worked GREAT during the hottest day on record for the Netherlands. We had the breakfast one of the days we stayed, and it was worth it...good espresso machine and good choice of breads, meats, cheeses, eggs and small pancakes (don't remember the Dutch name for them, but they're cute!). If you're planning a trip to Gouda and want to stay in a hotel rather than an Airbnb, this should be on your short list.
