Green Sanctuary: Luxury Home Surrounded by Nature

The house was really nice. Modern amenities and comfortable. It was a great location, close to the events we had for a family wedding.

Loved our stay here. Style of the house was on point and loved all the live plants throughout. Layout was great for our group. House was clean, kitchen was pretty well stocked as far as rentals go. Beds were comfy and overall was a great experience. Property was stunning, I’m sure it’s even more impressive during the spring and fall when the trees have leaves. If we had any “criticisms” (it’s a suggestion really) for the host it would be to consider reorganizing the furniture layout to maximize the comfort mainly in the room with the fireplace!Helpful tip: We had a full group - make sure you plan your showers out - with one friend utilizing the beautiful freestanding master bath - it left us shower users without enough warm water (brrrr…especially during a winter trip!!).All in all though we would absolutely recommend this location to anyone and everyone! We hope to be back soon!

We loved our stay! The property is truly secluded in the woods with paths to a small pond, fire pit and trampoline (hidden gems). There is a basketball hoop and a well appointed kitchen. We loved the working and clean fireplace, with plenty of firewood. Bathrooms were sleek and beds/bedding comfortable. We did feel a little awkward that there is clear glass and no window coverings in the bathrooms - had to make sure nobody from our group was outside and within vieweing distance if one of us was using a bathroom. That's the only thing I would recommend adding to this beautiful property.

We enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room and it was very clean! If I could suggest something it would be more seating in the TV room and window coverings in the bathrooms. I know there is no other house close by but if you were there with a lot of people and they were in the yard, I would have been more comfortable with some covering on those windows. :-)

Our family group stayed here last year and were happy to enjoy another great weekend getaway at Green Sanctuary. It's conveniently located so you can take advantage of all that the New Paltz area has to offer. This year we made a trip to pick apples and enjoy lunch at the Brooklyn Cider House just a 10 minute drive away. The home is comfortable and the location private and quiet. It's a great place to enjoy a relaxing time with family or friends.
