Property was a bit "spartan" with some room for "enhancement". For example, the kitchen lacked sharp knives, pot-holders, a working coffee pot, etc., but overall, the property was nice and served our needs well. Security and location were excellent.

This is a great apartment in a wonderful neighborhood. Walking distance to LOTS of great restaurants and cafés. Ubers always available. It has comfortable beds, a modestly appointed kitchen and good water pressure. The property manager, Tito is wonderful and attentive. I was, however, uncomfortable having only a couple of codes for the elevator and door and not any contact regarding how to check in. As it turns out, Tito met us at the door and it was very easy. The exterior gate is locked and you have to rely on Tito to let you in/out. Once, we went down early and had to wait ten minutes for him to come and see us and let us out. Not having a key to the building gate to get outside seems very unsafe. Another day, the elevator was broken. There are stairs down from the apartment, but we didn't have a key or code to lock the door at the stairs from the outside, so there was no way to leave and lock that door at the stairs, so we had to wait until the elevator got fixed in order to leave. I contacted Wynwood several times in the weeks before we were to arrive via VRBO messages, as well as the Wynwood House website messaging system, but no one got back to me. For example, Wynwood offered to pre-arrange a taxi from the airport to the house, but I could never get ahold of anyone. When I asked for a contact number in the days before arrival on the VRBO site, they literally sent me this message: "You can contact us via +xxx-xxx-xxxx We cannot see your previous messages, sorry."

Unit is in excellent condition and exactly as advertised. Located on the main floor so very few steps to the Main Street. Doorman on staff 24/7. Felt very safe. Two excellent coffee shops right across the street.
