Stunning waterfront retreat!

I booked this property for my daughter and I and my 2 grandsons who are 3 years old. The location was great and views from living room and master bedroom fabulous. Overall the apartment is old, very tired and is in need of a renovation. There was mould in the bathroom and the wardrobe in the second bedroom.The carpet upstairs and floor rug downstairs were both very dirty, there were empty food wrappers stuffed between the sofa cushions and on the floor underneath the sofa, the cook top had a broken piece out of it, range hood didn't work at all, the amenities are very basic and apart from salt and pepper, tea/coffee, there was little else in the kitchen. The second bed had no mattress protector and a bottom sheet that was see-through, no top sheet and only a very light Doona, no heating. There was one towel per person and no spares for a 3 night stay. There is an open tread staircase with NO handrail, which was a constant source of stress with two 3 years olds. The master bedroom and living room have glass sliding doors onto a balcony that has a glass balustrade with a large concrete strip on the base that made it very easy for any child to climb, the living room door was lockable, however not very secure, but the master bedroom upstairs had no lock at all. I would not recommend this apartment for anyone with children under 12 yrs or anyone with mobility issues as it is on the 2nd floor with no lift. Stunning views, but disappointing.
