Beautiful facilities. Pool and boardwalk out to beach. Fun things for kids too like kiddie splash park and slide. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was good getting us the 2 queen beds we booked.

From the room to amenities, this place was great for our family of 5 + 1 extra. Lazy River was a staple of our relaxing time. We had everything we needed to rest and relax between events. Definitely will be looking forward to staying here again.

The hotel itself was nice. We were upset that the lazy river and the pool slide was down. There is quite a bit of construction going on near by - fortunately you couldn't hear it from the room. All in all it was a nice trip and a great hotel.

We enjoyed our weeklong family stay at the Ocean Walk in Daytona. The resort location and amenities are top notch. Staying right on the beach with access to multiple pools for the kids was a huge plus. Late night check in was a breeze and parking availability was great. Room itself is a bit dated and could use some repairs and a good deep clean - but nothing that would stop us from staying again. Having access to a full kitchen and laundry was also really convenient while traveling with our family of four.

Room was perfect for our stay, amenities at the resort were amazing, not crowded at all for Christmas new year week, only disappointment was parking, coming in late from the track parking was difficult, we did manage to avoid the timeshare hassle by checking in late (11:30) and up early ((7:30) to get armbands from guest services and didn’t have to go thru the winners circle

I did not like no restaurants with indoor bar. The bistro is like a 7eleven. I did not like how there was no lounge chairs at either pools available after 8:00 am. People ignored signs saying no saving chairs. I was up at 6:30 am every morning and lookout out over the balcony to find people putting their towels down then leaving. You post signs and send texts regarding not doing this but security did nothing to stop this. Also, what gives, I saw people entering the pool and bar area that were not even staying there and they were using the pools and hanging at the bar. All you have to do is follow someone thru the lock gate or ask someone on other side to open. I saw 10 a group of 10 people enter, use the pool then exit the pool down the boardwalk to their hotel. Very upset that I spent a lot of money on my condo to find this abuse and your security did nothing. What good is your rules. If you don't care about the overcrowding of the outside pool and bar area then it's your place to be.

The resort was very nice but the pools were hardly ever open during our 3 day stay. They close every time a storm or even a lightning strike gets within like 10 miles. And they take forever to reopen when it is gone. Spent most of our time looking at the pool from the balcony.

Resort is very good and nicely located right off the ocean. My kids enjoyed indoor, out door pool, hot tub, ping pong, snooker facilities. Also there was Bingo event that my kids and wife enjoyed. Parking garage was nicely connected to the resort tower and has convenience of elevators for each floor. My kids were disappointed that lazy river was closed for repairs. We booked this property specifically for this facility.Only thing I felt that there should had been instructions in the room to remove trash. Also balcony furniture center table was a bit wobbly. Rachel was very helpful with checkin process. The unit assigned to me initially has bad odor and she helped me switch to a different unit. Only thing that was I not prepared for the Wyndham timeshare program that took away three hours of my time which I expected for. I know it is a way to market business but was a surprise for me. Otherwise it was a good experience overall staying at this resort.

Make sure, really make sure the construction is complete! Whole property outside was tore up. Make sure there is COMPLETE full usage of amenities without obstruction. They lied over the phone to us and we ended up changing hotels after the first night. It was a waste of a day. Property had tape all over, fountains down, elevator down, all walkways basically were ingest construction with very slow progress from what we heard. Pools were open but taped off seating. No tables, no grills? No golf, no shuffleboards. Only thing outside was the tiki bar but there was orange tape along the walk way and all the way down to the beach. Not a “beautiful” place to relax at the time. This was second year going back thinking it was all complete. Could be a great place like it once was.

Getting a room with a dirty toilet was not good, poop stains in it. Who knows how clean this room really was, the handle to the slider door is about to come off, cabinets by roman tub need replacement, damaged and coming apart, lets face it, this room is old, plus stains on the walls. No photo of dirty toilet, couldnt do that.

I did not know that when you book through hotels. Com that you are booking someone's private vacation rental. I was thinking it was through the Wyndham resort. I found that out AFTER i went to the front desk to complain about the amount of roaches I kept seeing in my room, sheets and bathroom. Apparently the private owners dont clean. Maybe if that can be made clear on hotels.com website of what you are booking because I wouldnt have had I known it would be that dirty.

The first stayed in room 1810 the bathroom sink didn’t drain so we had to use the kitchen sink to wash her face and brush our teeth. Then we saw a cockroach in the bathroom and overall the furniture, decor, floors and carpet or very dated and looked old. The TVs were even small. Once we complained We then moved to room 1410 and The TVs were larger and the Decor looked a bit better. I wish we had that room the first night. The location is perfect right on the beach. Also when booking keep in mind when you think you have a king size room, you’re more than likely going to get two Full sized beds. Both rooms we stayed In only had fulls even though we booked a king, they said kings not guaranteed. When we switched rooms, we had forgotten to swimsuits and two phone chargers in the original room. I noticed it and called about it the following morning and they told me to go back to the room. when I went back to the original room it was clean, but the only thing that was left on the counter was one swimsuit in Plastic bag. Both of my swimsuits were on top of each other in the bathroom, so I’m not sure why one swimsuit was missing. I’m guessing the cleaning person kept that and also the chargers. Because they were not turned into the front desk. Overall, I probably wouldn’t go back, but the location and view is amazing and along with amenities. Check in was a hassle because one is to check in the second one is to get your parking pass and the last is to get your resort bracelets.

The view of the ocean was spectacular, room was very nice well kept. The only thing that was an issue is no hot water and the tv in the living room did work for most of our stay. Property manage did credit our account for the inconvenience.

The property was great in general, and perfect for kids. But i was not aware the rooms were owned by individual peaple, not the hotel. And the hotel does not clean the rooms, that is the owners of the rooms responsibly. And our room not clean. 5 minutes of walking in the room with socks on our socks would be BLACK

Absolutely disgusting unit. Dirty carpet. Stains all over couch. Everything completely filthy. Pull out couch did not work and we had to make other arrangements for one of the people in our party. Front desk people said they did not care because they are not responsible for the condition of the units. Be very warned about that - you can arrive and it can be completely unacceptable, unsafe, and dirty - and there will be absolutely no recourse because the staff onsite is “not responsible”. Not only that, they were extremely rude about it.

The apartment was filthy. Food spattered on side of refrigerator, the living room furniture was old and dingy, there was only one set of towels, the the bathroom tub was old and had holes that were caulked, there were holes in the walls in the bedroom, the tv had one channel, the patio was filthy, there was no screen on the patio door to let in the ocean sounds with penguins coming in.

We stayed in room 408. It was not a quiet room. You can hear any bands that are playing next door. You can also hear the people above you walking around. The bathtub is very slippery and could use some safety bars. We enjoyed the swimming pools.

I was offered an upgrade to a two bedroom suite a couple weeks prior. What an amazing view of the bandshell and plenty of space! Beds were comfortable and property was clean! I will try to book the exact room for next year!

The bathroom did not match the pictures portrayed as there was not a separate shower and tub, which was the main reason for picking here. There were no exterior windows to the outside as the unit was interior and windows faced hallway.

Daytona Beach was great, we will go back to the area, just NOT the property. I want to enjoy my time at a vacation property, not be made to feel as though I owe someone my hard earned time off to sell me something I don't want. This is a RCI time share property. They wanted me to go through a 90 min presentation on their Club amenities and other properties. I had to tell the woman 4 times that I decline. She would not give me the room key/bands, trying to make it as though this presentation was a requirement to be able to stay at this facility. When I informed her that we would cancel our stay if this was the case, she then relinquished the room key/bands. We were called for the next two days asking what time would we like to partake in the presentation, each time she was told "We decline, and to stop bothering us while we were on vacation" The showers had mold, we had to fix the toilets to keep them from running constantly and they ran out of parking every day for the 5 days we were there. Please spend a little money on the upkeep of the property rooms/suites and crack down on the parking situation.

She would not give me the room key/bands, trying to make it as though this presentation was a requirement to be able to stay at this facility. When I informed her that we would cancel our stay if this was the case, she then relinquished the room key/bands. We were called for the next two days asking what time would we like to partake in the presentation, each time she was told "We decline, and to stop bothering us while we were on vacation" The showers had mold, we had to fix the toilets to keep them from running constantly and they ran out of parking every day for the 5 days we were there. Please spend a little money on the upkeep of the property rooms/suites and crack down on the parking situation.

Just like every time we stay everything about oceanwalk is just amazing. We stayed in a 20th floor so the view was absolutely stunning. Staff was very pleasant, although the check in processes is a bit different but still a pleasant experience.

Staff is friendly and very helpful. Security was awesome. They text us to let us know they re-opened the pool after a storm. They text daily activities scheduled. Within walking distance to the shops.

The pool area is top notch and the location is great. We were concerned about some of the reviews regarding vagrants around the property but never had an issue. The check in process is lengthy but not unreasonable and the staff were all very friendly. We had two maintenance issues. Our refrigerator stopped working, as did the air conditioner. Within two hours of reporting the issues, the AC was fixed and the refrigerator replaced. We were impressed with the response time. Our room wasn’t serviced during our stay and we had to ask for replacement towels. Not a huge deal but something to be aware of. We found parking to be easy and well managed. We were also impressed with how clean the lobby was kept. It’s a very busy area but there was always staff cleaning the floor and making sure it was nice. We read several reviews about aggressive timeshare selling tactics. We were asked once during check in about a timeshare presentation. We declined and were not bothered about it again. We plan to stay here again.

Pool was closed for hours several times during our stay. Once was due to maintenance, this should be done at night or early morning not on a weekend during the day. Also I called before going to the resort and asked if all amenities were open I was told yes. We get there 4 days later and the water slide is closed. Also reserve a king bed and got two double beds. The check-In process was a nightmare, you go to 3 different areas, each line had several minutes of waiting time. The 3rd line they tried to sale us aTimeshare.The young lady was disrespectful and rude because we told her we had no interest. After her extreme rudeness everything else was very good.

Check in was a nightmare they have you check in then go down hall to another desk to get wrist bands and them also trying to talk you into timeshares then 30min of that bs they send us to south tower desk to get parking pass!!!! (what a mess) There is no vending or pop Machine on the property they will send you to the 7/11 down the street!!!! Room was nice but has no room service you have to call front desk to get towels or trash taken ect. ppl reserve pool seats with towels and leave for hrs so there is no where to sit by pool most of the time!!! A few staff members were rude as well... I will not be going back!!

When we arrived at the described check in time we were told that the room type we booked (ocean view for Easter) was not available and they did not know how long until one would be. As we were traveling with a disabled Family member, we chose not to wait but to take a "lesser" category room. We were promised a CREDIT back to our credit card for the material rate difference. We have chased the hotel 3 times now, each time "oh yes we'll take care of it" and NOTHING has been done. What a rip off!!! We can't dispute the charge on our credit card as we paid in full for the ocean view room over 3 months ago now. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!

This is a great property and very convenient to the Boardwalk and gift shops. Just be aware that it is a time share type place and they require you to sit through a 60 minute presentation and sales pitch for their program.

We have come to Daytona every year in the Spring for the NCA collegiate National Cheer competition for our daughter. This is the closest and most convenient hotel to the bandshell and the Ocean Center. It has a full kitchen, which is really convenient because the restaurants are always packed with long lines. The hotel is a bit dated but the convenient location and the full kitchen were the most important for us making this the perfect place for our family.

The amenities are great, well kept and not micromanaged. I was able to get a hold of someone via text with very quick response times The neighborhood isn't the greatest, especially at night but that's out of the resorts hands.

Very convinient and safe property, most of the things to to with kids is in walking distance, love the ocean view from my room,apartment had everything i needed to get by, washer and dryer in the apartment was huge plus. Kids loved the swimming pools, lazy river and water slide, looking forward to visit same property next year

We've stayed in other units at Ocean Walk in previous years, those stays were much better than our most recent stay! The biggest issue right now is there are so many properties in the area that are either shut down, run down or badly in need of repair after the hurricane damage a few years ago. The sea walls are under repair, but still damaged, many businesses in the Ocean Walk area to the south are permanently closed! The area doesn't feel as safe as it once did later in the evening. The people were great at the front desk and in the security department! I suppose if you go on a busy weekend or during a busier time than we went it might feel differently, but with so many properties currently closed or completely under repair, it will be a while before we return to downtown Daytona to stay long term.

We enjoyed the oceanfront location on the beach. I took several sunrise and sunset photos from the balcony. The premises looks well care for. Most of all we were very close to all the activities we planned to attend on our visit. We enjoyed our stay!

My friend found some cheap flights to Fla, so we shopped around for a hotel on the beach. This was perfect! Great views, clean, friendly...lots to do. We took advantage of the outdoor hot tub every day! Nice!

This was my second visit and there will definitely be a third. This is a great place to stay. Book it the ocean view room with the jetted tub. You won't regret it. Beautiful view, comfy beds, Great location. I didn't try any of the restaurants on site but there is good food all around

From the moment I walked into the Ocean Walk, I felt welcome and happy, the place is beautiful, it was clean, it had everything I could ask for in a room for me and my 13 year old daughter. The entire time I was there, there were fun activities and everything outside worked as it should and was a very safe and secure property. The area around the Ocean Walk was also 10/10, good food, good people, really good nightlife with fun restaurants and bars. I really can’t say enough nice things about this place, as for the beach, it’s clean, beautiful white sand and there was a lifeguard on duty to make sure everyone was safe. I promise I’m not being sponsored, I just honestly loved it so much and can’t wait to go back!! If I had one critique, it would be that I would like to see an all inclusive option because it was very pricy for food and drinks in the area. Don’t hesitate to book here, you won’t retreat it!

The bar closed early which was odd for such a big weekend so we went to the Hilton and enjoyed their bar. Also… we had to go to the front desk 3 times in a row because our key wouldn’t work.

it was nice to not have to leave the area for food and entertainment. The only issue I had was on the day of check out. I was scheduled for late check out at noon but the cleaning crew tried to come in the room about 6 times before I was ready to check out. That was very nerve racking. I felt so rushed.

Close to main st to walk to bars at night. Great beach access. Nice pool bar and pool. Friendly staff. Overall great experience we stay here every year for bike week and biketoberfest. Never disappointed. Only thing would be one stop checkin instead of 3 counters to get parking passes and check bags.

Long time customer of Wyndham ocean walk and DB. Stayed here many times with kids and without. Have had various rentals. Lucked out with this king suite unit oceanfront. Clean and reasonably priced. Got to watch the storm front and raging waves when we couldn’t be outside was nice to be able to enjoy the view from the balcony. Highly recommend best place to stay on the shores. Pools, jacuzzis, lazy river, tiki bar and centrally located don’t need a car but is nice to drive the beach if you do have a car. Family friendly and welcoming. Easy check in. Negatives are high pressure sales people with good perks if you sit through meeting. We did not. Couch and bed a bit firm for personal preference and you must get to pool by 8 to get a seat, but overall the best on the beach. Enjoy!
