Ambassador Cruise Halong Bay

Our cruise through Ha Long Bay was a memorable and largely wonderful experience, made especially special by the incredible staff onboard. Hien and the manager, Bell, truly stood out—they were warm, attentive, and consistently went above and beyond to make sure every guest felt comfortable and cared for. Their genuine hospitality added a personal touch that elevated the entire trip. I also appreciated the cruise’s efforts toward environmental sustainability, particularly the use of refillable glass water bottles. It’s a thoughtful and impactful step in reducing waste, and one that didn’t go unnoticed. That said, there’s still room for improvement. I was surprised and honestly disheartened by how much garbage is visible in Ha Long Bay itself. Given that reality, it feels even more important for cruise operators to lead by example. Eliminating single-use plastics entirely—such as the plastic-wrapped slippers provided in cabins—would be a meaningful step forward. These items seem unnecessary and out of alignment with the otherwise positive sustainability efforts. Overall, this was a beautiful and relaxing experience, enhanced by outstanding service. With a stronger commitment to minimizing plastic waste, the cruise could truly set a standard for environmentally responsible tourism in such a stunning natural setting.

Everything about this Ambassador cruise was outstanding. The cabin was spacious, spotless and beautifully appointed. The crew were wonderful -friendly, helpful and always ready to assist. Every meal was delicious and the live entertainment was outstanding. I'd highly recommend Ambassador Cruises to anyone looking for a great overnight Halong Bay experience.

Only Ambassador Cruise made the two stops in its overnight itinerary that I wanted to do in HaLong Bay - yes I would recommend them

We had an amazing overnight stay. The staff were very welcoming, informative and professional. We opted to have dinner in our room (private dining). This was definitely a very rememberable experience with a six course meal. The food for the whole trip was some of the nicest I had. The view from our room was breathtaking. I hightly recommended Ambassador Cruises in Ha Long Bay.

This is a gorgeous cruise. The service is EXCELLENT AND THE STAFF IS EXTREMELY HELPFUL. It is definitely Luxurious and they have Live Music with 2 singers that have the voices of angels. I will go back and tell my friends that this is the cruise to take for Halong Bay….Amazing!!!
