Staff were respectful & conscientious. Pool was not kept clean throughout day. It was obvious that they focussed too much on minimising cost to detriment of their clientele. Simple things like orange juice at b/fast were rationed! Ridicolous for such an expensive hotel.

We absolutely loved our stay, the aesthetic is gorgeous, the gardens are lush and beautiful, the rooms are well appointed, comfortable and spacious. The pool area is fantastic, comfy loungers, cold lavender face towels and sorbet handed out each afternoon, and of course the beautiful Caribbean sea to dip in any time you like. Daily afternoon tea was a lovely touch, and we very much enjoyed happy hour each evening. The food let it down slightly as there wasn't much in the way of plant-based options but there are a number of really nice places to eat within walking distance. Overall it was a fantastic stay.

Loved everything about this property! Beautiful, every detail the rooms fresh and remodeled. Food exceptional, grounds gorgeous, water calm great for snorkeling! Swam with turtles! Saw monkeys! Definitely will return!

The hotel was beautiful!!! The pool area had comfortable lounge chairs to enjoy the view. While sitting poolside, staff continuously stopped by with cold water to drink, fresh fruit, sorbet,… unbelievable service! Staff were so friendly and our stay was so relaxing. Cobbler’s Cove is a very special place!

This was our 1st time at Cobblers Cove and everything about our experience was exceptional from the time we arrived until we left. The entire place was clean and tidy. The staff takes a lot of pride in the hotel. The beach was great and we were able to collect a lot of sea glass. We had an ocean front room and we loved having a cup of coffee on the deck each morning. The breakfast was amazing as well as our beautifully presented meals. Complimentary afternoon tea very popular and a complimentary speedboat ride daily. The location is absolutely stunning and fabulous, and only a short walk into Speightstown. The best part of Cobblers though is the people. We had a wonderful stay at Cobblers Cove and we'd definitely recommend.

This is one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I honestly can’t think of one thing they could improve upon. The grounds are stunning and the decor is spot on. The food was fantastic and the service impeccable. And the hotel offers all sorts of complementary amenities such as tea time, boating and snorkeling. As well there are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Staying here is a must!

The staff at Cobblers Cove go out of their way to make sure everyone is well looked after, feels safe and has all they need. The property is well looked after, with stunning gardens providing fragrant evening strolls to beachfront dining. The crystal clear waterfront location is fabulous and offers both the option for pool and ocean swimming as well as water sports of all types. This is a resort geared towards adults but with enough for the whole family to enjoy some much needed downtime.

I absolutely adore this hotel. Though it has only a handful of rooms, the services it provides are unparalleled compared to much larger resorts. Nestled on a stunning white sand beach, this charming hotel exudes sophisticated Caribbean elegance and luxury. The staff is among the friendliest and most accommodating I've ever encountered. From the refreshing welcome drink to the cool towels and fresh fruit served poolside, along with the delightful lounge musicians and the complimentary half-hour of water sports each day (I enjoyed snorkeling with sea turtles one day and water skiing the next), the service is truly world-class. The à la carte breakfast is exceptional, and I dined here twice for dinner; the food is outstanding, with their lobster bisque being the best I've ever tasted. The bartenders are generous with their pours, adding to the experience. We stayed in the “Mile and a Quarter suite,” which was beautiful, brand new, and featured a private lanai overlooking the sea. While the hotel is on the pricier side, I believe you truly get your money's worth—perhaps even more, considering how remarkable this place is. My only minor complaint, which feels almost trivial to mention, is that I forgot my toothbrush, and the hotel charged me a small fee for a replacement. It felt a bit out of character given the overall excellence of this establishment.

Cobblers Cove is a beautiful setting and pretty. Lovely colonial feel to the decor but lots of shortfalls! Inconsistent service across all areas in the restaurant and bar. Only a few staff who actually wanted to serve you the rest could be described as indifferent at best! We ate dinner once and the service was so slow and the environment was too dark and it was pricey. We ate out after that first evening experience. Shocked at the general upkeep and cleanliness of the pool very disappointing. Green slime around the inside on the tiles of the pool and handrail and a mouldy looking hotel canvas lilo that was left floating around! There was insufficient air conditioning in the room and worn furniture. The restaurant had chipped cups for breakfast, lanterns next to the dining tables that were dirty and covered in birds poo - you get the picture! The complimentary afternoon tea was soggy sandwiches and some tasteless cake. Has the ownership or management changed recently? Our experience was not expected. There was no management present at any time and we spent all 4 days in the hotel. There didn’t seem to be any one in charge which maybe accounted for the service shortfalls. Is this hotel still living on a previous reputation? The complimentary boat rides and the boatman was charming and pointed out all the places of interest. The housekeeping in our room was good. Sorry Cobblers but much improvements needed!

Both of our rooms were unfortunately smelling of mold as soon as we started the air conditioning. It never disappeared even when we changed the rooms. The hotel has too many restrictions for us. We had a meeting with our attorney as we were planning to make an investment on the island, and as he had to bring along his son of 3 years, we were not allowed to stay inside the hotel. The meeting then had to take place in the parking lot outside the hotel... We were quite shocked by this unnecessary rule, especially taken into consideration that some of the male guests were allowed to enter the restaurant for dinner wearing sleveless shirts. The standard is by no means on par with the island´s other luxury hotels.

We only stayed for 3 nights before moving on to private dwelling The Camelot Suite was amazing and we preferred being in the old house It was very quiet The Mile and Quarter their newest suite was not ideally positioned and felt very overlooked inside and on the terrace It was also noisy with the boat and jet skis arriving and leaving in early morning and late afternoon The food is 3-4 star and the buffets weren’t very well displayed as the birds are always on the lookout for goodies and the various dishes were under wicker covers and there was limited space at the serving point to get to the dishes Maybe some thought could be applied to the presentation The staff were extremely friendly

Our stay was lovely, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautifully designed throughout. During our visit, the hotel was undergoing construction, which slightly affected our first impression. We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite, their newest room, but unfortunately, a few of the utilities weren’t working properly Overall, it’s a very nice hotel, though I find the room and their restaurant prices to be somewhat overpriced.

There were some really nice and helpful staff, but the food and beverage was seriously overpriced for what it was (poor at best) The bar ran out of liquor, and the bartender was terrible. There were fixtures falling apart in our room. Proximity to ocean and beach was nice.

Cobbler Cove is a beautiful well maintained boutique hotel property. Excellent facilities. The rooms are spacious and very clean.

The staff at Cobblers Cove go out of their way to make sure everyone is well looked after, feels safe and has all they need. The property is well looked after, with stunning gardens providing fragrant evening strolls to beachfront dining. The crystal clear waterfront location is fabulous and offers both the option for pool and ocean swimming as well as water sports of all types. This is a resort geared towards adults but with enough for the whole family to enjoy some much needed downtime.

Cobblers Cove is a beautiful setting and pretty. Lovely colonial feel to the decor but lots of shortfalls! Inconsistent service across all areas in the restaurant and bar. Only a few staff who actually wanted to serve you the rest could be described as indifferent at best! We ate dinner once and the service was so slow and the environment was too dark and it was pricey. We ate out after that first evening experience. Shocked at the general upkeep and cleanliness of the pool very disappointing. Green slime around the inside on the tiles of the pool and handrail and a mouldy looking hotel canvas lilo that was left floating around! There was insufficient air conditioning in the room and worn furniture. The restaurant had chipped cups for breakfast, lanterns next to the dining tables that were dirty and covered in birds poo - you get the picture! The complimentary afternoon tea was soggy sandwiches and some tasteless cake. Has the ownership or management changed recently? Our experience was not expected. There was no management present at any time and we spent all 4 days in the hotel. There didn’t seem to be any one in charge which maybe accounted for the service shortfalls. Is this hotel still living on a previous reputation? The complimentary boat rides and the boatman was charming and pointed out all the places of interest. The housekeeping in our room was good. Sorry Cobblers but much improvements needed!

To give a realistic review, I thought cobblers Cove overall was a nice place to stay. I think you have to rate these places relative to the area it is in. I was looking for a five star resort, and I came across cobblers Cove. The grounds around the resort were exceptional. They really did a fabulous job of keeping the grounds in exceptional shape, as well as trying to provide an overall aesthetic. As for the resort, I don’t think I would classify it as a resort. It had more of a hotel vibe but again I think that is more of what is provided in the area. I would not say it is a five star resort I would give it more of a three or four star hotel vibe. The beach Was gorgeous and it is pretty much a private beach even though there is no such thing as a private beach. The locals are very friendly. We rented a car and would dine out at local restaurants as well as the hotel restaurant. The food is good but a little expensive. Our stay was lovely, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautifully designed throughout. We absolutely loved our stay, the aesthetic is gorgeous, the gardens are lush and beautiful, the rooms are well appointed, comfortable and spacious. The pool area is fantastic, comfy loungers, cold lavender face towels and sorbet handed out each afternoon, and of course the beautiful Caribbean sea to dip in any time you like. Daily afternoon tea was a lovely touch, and we very much enjoyed happy hour each evening. The food let it down slightly as there wasn't much in the way of plant-based options but there are a number of really nice places to eat within walking distance. Overall it was a fantastic stay.

What a wonderful, idyllic spot for a relaxing vacation. From the service, to the cuisine, to the beautiful beach/ocean, I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful property. I was fortunate enough to stay in the Alleyne room and the location overlooking the ocean was ideal. I cannot wait to return soon!

Loved everything about this property! Beautiful, every detail the rooms fresh and remodeled. Food exceptional, grounds gorgeous, water calm great for snorkeling! Swam with turtles! Saw monkeys! Definitely will return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cobblers. The room was comfortable, the hotel is right on the beach where there is lots of snorkelling and the afternoon tea was a nice touch. The staff are all friendly, gardens lush and the complementary 30 l minute trip to see some turtles was a surprise bonus. If I’m being super picky, the service at breakfast was a little slow and the room didn’t provide slippers but these are minor points

Fantastic ambiance. Rooms are beautifully appointed - from the sitting room, wet bar and outdoor lounge area added to the glamour. Attention to details is what stands out. Location is walkable to town and great restaurants. Food and drinks were a bit pricey - so watch what you order!

The EXCELLENT, which outweighed the not so great. The welcome tour and welcome drink. Beautiful white sandy beach and calm swimming area. No sargassum seaweed. The swim with the turtles. The lounge area by pool and beach. Great view of the sea and no issue getting lounge chairs. Fresh milk in the fridge for coffee. Our lobster and lamb chops entrees and the smoked fish at breakfast, were some of the best we ever had! The treats of sorbet and fruit, while sitting at the pool and the 4pm Tea time. The lovely matching Cobblers Cove china and Cobblers Cove menus, notes, etc. The NOT SO GREAT: Communication responsiveness and helpfulness of staff when we were booking and before arrival could have been better. Our initial room was unbearable with regards to the noise level coming from the reception area and street traffic. Luckily they were able to move us to another room that was deeper into the property, which made a big positive difference, where we could thoroughly relax and enjoy listening to the frogs and birds. The bed was supposedly a king, but too short for us. We had trouble adjusting the temperature in the room (complicated AC remotes; maybe an instruction guide would be useful). The food was pricey. Service at the restaurant was spotty. On our second day, my husband was done eating breakfast before I got my omelet. Smoking is allowed on the property, so at times we had to contend with it while we were lounging by the pool and beach areas.

I absolutely adore this hotel. Though it has only a handful of rooms, the services it provides are unparalleled compared to much larger resorts. Nestled on a stunning white sand beach, this charming hotel exudes sophisticated Caribbean elegance and luxury. The staff is among the friendliest and most accommodating I've ever encountered. From the refreshing welcome drink to the cool towels and fresh fruit served poolside, along with the delightful lounge musicians and the complimentary half-hour of water sports each day (I enjoyed snorkeling with sea turtles one day and water skiing the next), the service is truly world-class. The à la carte breakfast is exceptional, and I dined here twice for dinner; the food is outstanding, with their lobster bisque being the best I've ever tasted. The bartenders are generous with their pours, adding to the experience. We stayed in the “Mile and a Quarter suite,” which was beautiful, brand new, and featured a private lanai overlooking the sea. While the hotel is on the pricier side, I believe you truly get your money's worth—perhaps even more, considering how remarkable this place is. My only minor complaint, which feels almost trivial to mention, is that I forgot my toothbrush, and the hotel charged me a small fee for a replacement. It felt a bit out of character given the overall excellence of this establishment.

11 nights of quiet understated luxury. A real gem. Peaceful, relaxing and yet a real humour and warmth from all the staff. Privately owned by owners who obviously care about detail and your comfort. Thank you to all who made our stay perfect

It is hard to put in to words how unique and special this property is, truly! From the second you walk in the door you are treated so kindly. There is a level of personalization, hospitality and thoughtfulness that I have never experienced, and it was such a highlight during my first trip to Barbados! Everything from the friendly and fun staff, to the comfortable rooms and interior decor, it is a true gem. It is the type of place that I would wish to visit for many years to come as a tradition with family and friends. Thank you very much for a wonderful long weekend!

The hotel was beautiful!!! The pool area had comfortable lounge chairs to enjoy the view. While sitting poolside, staff continuously stopped by with cold water to drink, fresh fruit, sorbet,… unbelievable service! Staff were so friendly and our stay was so relaxing. Cobbler’s Cove is a very special place!

There were some really nice and helpful staff, but the food and beverage was seriously overpriced for what it was (poor at best) The bar ran out of liquor, and the bartender was terrible. There were fixtures falling apart in our room. Proximity to ocean and beach was nice.

The staff were amazing. Very accommodating and helpful. The property is gorgeous and there are good snorkelling spots right off the beach. Would definitely stay there again if we visit Barbados another time.

Terrible experience we checked out after 2 nights when was booked for 5.We we’re placed in a room above a crying baby so first night was sleepless.We went to the pool the next day(no beach sunbathing facilities) and kids took over the whole pool.We couldn’t read never mind unwind just awful.Complained to the GM at 10.30 am on our second day who wouldn’t let us leave without penalty as she said she couldn’t sell our room that day.Money is more important than guests satisfaction.Would never return.

Cobblers Cove is a beautiful setting and pretty. Lovely colonial feel to the decor but lots of shortfalls! Inconsistent service across all areas in the restaurant and bar. Only a few staff who actually wanted to serve you the rest could be described as indifferent at best! We ate dinner once and the service was so slow and the environment was too dark and it was pricey. We ate out after that first evening experience. Shocked at the general upkeep and cleanliness of the pool very disappointing. Green slime around the inside on the tiles of the pool and handrail and a mouldy looking hotel canvas lilo that was left floating around! There was insufficient air conditioning in the room and worn furniture. The restaurant had chipped cups for breakfast, lanterns next to the dining tables that were dirty and covered in birds poo - you get the picture! The complimentary afternoon tea was soggy sandwiches and some tasteless cake. Has the ownership or management changed recently? Our experience was not expected. There was no management present at any time and we spent all 4 days in the hotel. There didn’t seem to be any one in charge which maybe accounted for the service shortfalls. Is this hotel still living on a previous reputation? The complimentary boat rides and the boatman was charming and pointed out all the places of interest. The housekeeping in our room was good. We only stayed for 3 nights before moving on to private dwelling The Camelot Suite was amazing and we preferred being in the old house It was very quiet The Mile and Quarter their newest suite was not ideally positioned and felt very overlooked inside and on the terrace It was also noisy with the boat and jet skis arriving and leaving in early morning and late afternoon The food is 3-4 star and the buffets weren’t very well displayed as the birds are always on the lookout for goodies and the various dishes were under wicker covers and there was limited space at the serving point to get to the dishes Maybe some thought could be applied to the presentation The staff were extremely friendly

What a wonderful, idyllic spot for a relaxing vacation. From the service, to the cuisine, to the beautiful beach/ocean, I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful property. I was fortunate enough to stay in the Alleyne room and the location overlooking the ocean was ideal. I cannot wait to return soon!

This was our 1st time at Cobblers Cove and everything about our experience was exceptional from the time we arrived until we left. The entire place was clean and tidy. The staff takes a lot of pride in the hotel. The beach was great and we were able to collect a lot of sea glass. We had an ocean front room and we loved having a cup of coffee on the deck each morning. The breakfast was amazing as well as our beautifully presented meals. Complimentary afternoon tea very popular and a complimentary speedboat ride daily. The location is absolutely stunning and fabulous, and only a short walk into Speightstown. The best part of Cobblers though is the people. We had a wonderful stay at Cobblers Cove and we'd definitely recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cobblers. The room was comfortable, the hotel is right on the beach where there is lots of snorkelling and the afternoon tea was a nice touch. The staff are all friendly, gardens lush and the complementary 30 l minute trip to see some turtles was a surprise bonus. If I’m being super picky, the service at breakfast was a little slow and the room didn’t provide slippers but these are minor points

This is one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I honestly can’t think of one thing they could improve upon. The grounds are stunning and the decor is spot on. The food was fantastic and the service impeccable. And the hotel offers all sorts of complementary amenities such as tea time, boating and snorkeling. As well there are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Staying here is a must!

Fantastic ambiance. Rooms are beautifully appointed - from the sitting room, wet bar and outdoor lounge area added to the glamour. Attention to details is what stands out. Location is walkable to town and great restaurants. Food and drinks were a bit pricey - so watch what you order!

The staff were amazing. Very accommodating and helpful. The property is gorgeous and there are good snorkelling spots right off the beach. Would definitely stay there again if we visit Barbados another time.

The EXCELLENT, which outweighed the not so great. The welcome tour and welcome drink. Beautiful white sandy beach and calm swimming area. No sargassum seaweed. The swim with the turtles. The lounge area by pool and beach. Great view of the sea and no issue getting lounge chairs. Fresh milk in the fridge for coffee. Our lobster and lamb chops entrees and the smoked fish at breakfast, were some of the best we ever had! The treats of sorbet and fruit, while sitting at the pool and the 4pm Tea time. The lovely matching Cobblers Cove china and Cobblers Cove menus, notes, etc. The NOT SO GREAT: Communication responsiveness and helpfulness of staff when we were booking and before arrival could have been better. Our initial room was unbearable with regards to the noise level coming from the reception area and street traffic. Luckily they were able to move us to another room that was deeper into the property, which made a big positive difference, where we could thoroughly relax and enjoy listening to the frogs and birds. The bed was supposedly a king, but too short for us. We had trouble adjusting the temperature in the room (complicated AC remotes; maybe an instruction guide would be useful). The food was pricey. Service at the restaurant was spotty. On our second day, my husband was done eating breakfast before I got my omelet. Smoking is allowed on the property, so at times we had to contend with it while we were lounging by the pool and beach areas.

To give a realistic review, I thought cobblers Cove overall was a nice place to stay. I think you have to rate these places relative to the area it is in. I was looking for a five star resort, and I came across cobblers Cove. The grounds around the resort were exceptional. They really did a fabulous job of keeping the grounds in exceptional shape, as well as trying to provide an overall aesthetic. As for the resort, I don’t think I would classify it as a resort. It had more of a hotel vibe but again I think that is more of what is provided in the area. I would not say it is a five star resort I would give it more of a three or four star hotel vibe. The beach Was gorgeous and it is pretty much a private beach even though there is no such thing as a private beach. The locals are very friendly. We rented a car and would dine out at local restaurants as well as the hotel restaurant. The food is good but a little expensive. The pool area is fantastic, comfy loungers, cold lavender face towels and sorbet handed out each afternoon, and of course the beautiful Caribbean sea to dip in any time you like. Daily afternoon tea was a lovely touch, and we very much enjoyed happy hour each evening. The food let it down slightly as there wasn't much in the way of plant-based options but there are a number of really nice places to eat within walking distance. Overall it was a fantastic stay.

I loved the decor!! It was very charming and unique! Our main complaint was that the food was not very enjoyable. It was not very tasty and was really overpriced. But the beauty of the resort, the pool with the pink and white striped awnings, and the charming rooms made it all worthwhile.

There were some really nice and helpful staff, but the food and beverage was seriously overpriced for what it was (poor at best) The bar ran out of liquor, and the bartender was terrible. There were fixtures falling apart in our room. Proximity to ocean and beach was nice.

I absolutely adore this hotel. Though it has only a handful of rooms, the services it provides are unparalleled compared to much larger resorts. Nestled on a stunning white sand beach, this charming hotel exudes sophisticated Caribbean elegance and luxury. The staff is among the friendliest and most accommodating I've ever encountered. From the refreshing welcome drink to the cool towels and fresh fruit served poolside, along with the delightful lounge musicians and the complimentary half-hour of water sports each day (I enjoyed snorkeling with sea turtles one day and water skiing the next), the service is truly world-class. Cobblers Cove is a beautiful setting and pretty. Lovely colonial feel to the decor but lots of shortfalls! Inconsistent service across all areas in the restaurant and bar. Only a few staff who actually wanted to serve you the rest could be described as indifferent at best! We ate dinner once and the service was so slow and the environment was too dark and it was pricey. We ate out after that first evening experience. Shocked at the general upkeep and cleanliness of the pool very disappointing. Green slime around the inside on the tiles of the pool and handrail and a mouldy looking hotel canvas lilo that was left floating around! There was insufficient air conditioning in the room and worn furniture. The restaurant had chipped cups for breakfast, lanterns next to the dining tables that were dirty and covered in birds poo - you get the picture! The complimentary afternoon tea was soggy sandwiches and some tasteless cake. Has the ownership or management changed recently? Our experience was not expected. There was no management present at any time and we spent all 4 days in the hotel. There didn’t seem to be any one in charge which maybe accounted for the service shortfalls. Is this hotel still living on a previous reputation? The complimentary boat rides and the boatman was charming and pointed out all the places of interest. The housekeeping in our room was good. Sorry Cobblers but much improvements needed!

Delightful hotel in a beautiful setting. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, and the whole stay was just fab. I was there on my own for a couple of days and it was perfect for some R&R. Great food, gorgeous rooms, comfy sun loungers which I never had any issues securing with no-one reserving before breakfast! No seaweed on the beach, and was great to be able to swim out and see turtles. Complimentary speedboat trip was a nice touch, saw a manta ray! All in all would highly recommend. Hope to return with my husband. Thank you to Gregory for keeping the Pina colado’s coming, Kimberly and all the reception staff as well as the friendly team in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner.
