The Gray Whale Cottage is lovely! The home was exceptionally clean and well maintained while also providing a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Check-in and check-out procedures were quite easy. The location of the property is not far from restaurants and shops, perhaps a 15 minute walk along Front St. and through the beautiful and charming streets. Everywhere we went, people were friendly and welcoming. The Gray Whale Cottage and Beaufort in general are lovely places to stay.
The Gray Whale Cottage is lovely! The home was exceptionally clean and well maintained while also providing a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Check-in and check-out procedures were quite easy. The place was clean and nicely remodeled, but 2 out of 3 TV’s didn’t work - only in MB. Big bugs in kitchen and on us in the master bedroom at night.. not good. No curtains on the street side windows? Location For the price and issues mentioned I would have expected better. Beaufort and the adventurous activities are great. We will come back just not sure it will be in this rental. No happy.

We had a wonderful stay at the great whale cottage! Location right on front street, so we were able to walk either way and have great nature views. The place was very clean. We had a small issue come up with the dishwasher, and they got someone out right away to fix it. Great communication. Thank you!
