Broken glass door removed out to pool. The pool looked like it was filled with black oil with furniture floating. Disguising. No breakfast. Sign said closed for renovation. Nothing being done. Switchover from 3:00 p.m. front desk clerk to after 3 p.m. took forever due to computer slowness as I had to wait 30 minutes and never did receive my receipt or any requested paperwork. Horrible bleached out stains in the hallway carpet. Guest laundry washing machine broke down so I couldn't do any of my much needed laundry washed as I saw on the Red Roof Midland Amenities list. Very disappointing as everything was at this location. Sorry dirty everywhere! Get a cleaning crew in there or shut it down! Pure laziness! Not lack of help. Front desk clerk had her child behind the desk and interrupting the transaction numerous times. Office/front desk door to hallway open at all times putting the child at risk for child abduction and risk of robbery! Stay elsewhere. Try Staysuites by Marriot right there. I am.....

Place needs a total makeover, refurbishment, renovation. Place was dirty, stains on the carpet. Door jab in room falling off. Looks like someone kicked the door in. No ice machines working. Breakfast lobby was closed not in service. Place smelled awful. Did I mention the linen was old didn’t look too friendly to sleep in? I’m being nice with this review. Only reason I stayed was it was close to where I needed to go. Won’t stay at any Red roof inns if that’s the standard.

Giant pot hole at driveway entrance. Grass was long and needs to be mowed. Pool was empty in July. The ice machines were either in pieces or absent. No vending machines. No guest washing machines and dryers. Electronic lock inoperable or required two sandwiched cards to trip lock. All controls on the air conditioner were in operable. I had to unplug if to keep from freezing. My dog didn’t mind the hotel conditions.

Its a dirty, smelly, pooly run establishment. There is a mountain of trash pulled in two areas of the property. The halls and stairwells smell like old urine. The pool doesn't function. They do not offer the advertised free breakfast. The side entrances are inoperable. Staff is lazy. Parking lot littered with trash and potholes.

Had to wait 10 mins at check in while clerk seemed busy. Door to outside from inside hall would not close. Large bleach stain in hall. Dog in nearby room constantly barked until 11:00 pm. Large pot holes in parking lot which was right out my window. Parking lot was loud and bright with no way to close the curtains. Two light switches in room did not work and when told about them, I was told that I just didn't know how to use them. Pool water was green with floating trash.

The swimming pool has furniture floating in it and it's black as oil. The glass door leading out to the pool was off on my first day stay allowing anything to come in and tidk of a child drowning. The second day it was on, but a sign read broken do not use. The resident laundry was also out of order.

Place is a Dump. Carpet and upholstered furnishings filthy and soiled. Pool empty of water and full of trash. Carpet was missing in areas. Side doors to building were proped open day and night making it unsafe. No breakfast available. Elevator not working. In questionable neighborhood.

Hotel is extremely dirty. The carpet in the hallways is stained and there is trash all over the hallways and stairs. You get overwhelmed by the smell of marijuana as soon as you walk in the front dirt and all the way down the halls. I’ve honestly never been in such a dirty hotel. Management takes no pride in the property and it shows.

This was by far the worst stay ever!! The place was filthy upon arriving! While waiting to check in ( which took over 30 min because no one was at the front desk) we finally get our room keys.. make our way towards the elevators.. which do not work… proceed to walk up the nastiest dirtiest set of stairs to our 2 rooms.. we try and get our girls settled in one room.. there was a slight smell in the room.. then we look at the beds , which look like the sheets were not even clean. We start to pull back the blankets and see all the stains on the sheets, pillow cases dirty as well! On the top blanket it looked like blood drops , still red which indicates the blankets had not been washed! When we asked for someone to clean, they had no one, no manager to speak with. The person at front desk said they didn’t do refunds. So we asked to be switched .. linen still looked bad. We left to Walmart to purchase bedding to use while we were there. When we asked for towels because they only had 2, we got them with what looked like pee stains and poop! We used our shirts to dry off and went to ask for manager again.. still not there! Luckily this was the morning we were checking out! They called the manager and he said NOTHING about refund!

Our room did not appear to have been cleaned. There was a dirty towel and a used shampoo bottle in the bathroom. Upon waking we discovered hair in the bed that didn’t belong to us. The pullout mattress was also visibly dirty. Although the individual at the desk initially noted the room was marked as dirty, she checked with someone and then assured us it was clean. It was not. It was too late to leave; we just needed some sleep. Beyond the room, plastic trash was strewn on the main stairs and lobby floor. The walls and carpets were visibly worn and stained. Also, the breakfast area was closed for remodeling. That happens I suppose but there wasn’t even coffee available in the lobby - just an empty carafe marked water.

This place is not taken care of; hallway carpets are filthy , smokers in the stairwells, linens have bad stains plus dogs barking in the hotel all night. You need to be desperate to stay here. Shower water pressure is terrible.

There were roaches crawling on the walls and floors as soon as I walked in. There was food stuck high on the wall near the ceiling. Bedding was stained, toilet hadn't been cleaned, elevator didn't work, carpets and walls through the entire area were dirty and stained. The walls in the hallways had stains and we're dirty from food and other things. The towels in the bathroom were definitely not fresh or clean. And they don't offer refunds.

First room I was put in was dirty, the bed linens were not changed. The pillow case was still dirty from the night before. The bed shirts were still dirty from the previous night. I was “upgraded” to a new room and at least the linens were clean. I was still afraid to sleep there but I had no choice. I set down some of my clothing first to sleep on that on top of their linens. The towels were thin and scratchy. They were also stained with make up stains. Toilets in both rooms were running all night long. I slept well because the room was air conditioned very well and I was exhausted. I was given a late check out and was treated very nicely by the staff. They were very kind. Hotel hallway carpet was filthy. Smelled like someone had gone around and peed on it. That hotel needs a complete overhaul. Needs to be gutted and redone from the ground up. The exterior is well lit but I was afraid to walk in at the time that I did when I drove up at 11:20 pm. You get what you pay for and it wasn’t even that inexpensive.

Could have been way better! Elevator was broken. Closet door did not have a handle to open. Water temperature was inconsistent and the pressure worse. The bed was not set and moved upward when sitting at end of the bed. Plus, smelled of pets! Not worth the stay. You get what you pay for.

Made a reservation a day prior to arrival. Was informed that the hotel was overbooked and the only remaining room was only cooling to about 70 degrees. Couldn't cancel because there were no other rooms in area available. Room was over 80 degrees.

Room key didn't work and neither did any master key front desk and maintenance tried. Gave us another room. Heat and a/C don't work. There is small fan in room. Tub spigot pulled out of wall. Bedspread has stains on it. Floor filthy I dropped something and went to wipe it up...nasty black. Lots of hotels right here. Spend more for a decent room. A lot of oil field workers stay here because of price
Room key didn't work and neither did any master key front desk and maintenance tried. Gave us another room. Heat and a/C don't work. There is small fan in room. Tub spigot pulled out of wall. Bedspread has stains on it. Floor filthy I dropped something and went to wipe it up...nasty black. Lots of hotels right here. Spend more for a decent room. A lot of oil field workers stay here because of price

I paid for an upgraded room for the jet tub. Two jets didn't work. There was no handrail or stairs, get into the tub, very hard to get in and out of. Carpets were black. They were so nasty throughout the entire hotel. It was hard to get into the parking lot due to the fact that there's a huge pothole in the middle of the entrance. The grass hadn't been cut for so long. That I thought the place was deserted.

Dead bolt did not work. The floors were so slick it was like walking on oily floors. Asked the front desk to see if the could re mop to get the oily ness off the floor never got done.

We gave this place a second chance. The first time there was no hot water. The TV didn't work. My parents are elderly, and the second time we came here the heater didn't work, and it was a cold night.

No one was at desk for nearly twenty minutes. When staff finally arrived, I was proved a key to a room with guests already in the room. It scared them. Front desk never apologized or offered any time of acknowledgement. Then I was assigned another room and the key wouldn’t work on the first time. Ridiculous! I may have to rethink using Expedia in the future. I do not recommend this property.

I made the reservation online and when I arrived at the hotel there was no one to attend and pay for the night and no one attended I hope they will refund my money since I had to pay at another hotel

The front desk Manager went out of her way for my comfort and security. Even jotted down delivery food number and helped with expediting the order. Ashley who is Housekeeping helped me with an issue with oil in my car, she also assisted the following morning with helping me. Amazing customer service!!!!!!

Dog friendly. Staff is extremely nice to our dogs whereas before they have been disrespected by people so its nice to stay here with respect not only to us but our fur babies!! The staff is out of this world!! The best!! Kamilla (hope i spelt her name right) is one of the VERY best.. I will definitely recommend Red Roof Inn and Suites Midland Tx. I actually feel safe here and thats a us on my part. Keep up the good work!! The rooms are clean. I love the tub.. Awesome place!!

The rooms wasnt properly cleaned, the door wouldn't close probably. And the locked didnt work. Someone came in to " clean" (i told them no room service) and they went through my bags. I asked for thr manager and he never showed up

We had reservation and come to find out they had been closed due to water pipe breakage. No one informed us and it was late and has a hard time finding another motel at that time of night. They had a note on door and wouldn't even open door to talk to me. There was 4 people inside and just looked at me.

The rate was very good but the hotel is not kept up and not clean as it I am used to in a hotel. Hotel is locked down from 11pm to 7 am and security all night for safety of area hotel is located. Check in was good but will not go back.

Nice hotel but in a fairly shady area. Did not feel too safe and property was filthy and dogs were not picked up after. Most likely will never stay here again. Rooms were very nice though. Overall not the worst experience. Staff was very nice and helpful.

The property was convenient to our destination, the Petroleum Museum. However, the property had stains on the hallway carpet. When we checked in, there were five people milling around behind the check-in desk like it was a frat party or backyard bbq. It lacked professionalism and reflected badly on the management. The guests next door to us were yelling and swearing all night, which led to the baby in the room crying all night. We notified the desk, but nothing was done. The next morning, the front desk informed me the guests had been barred from the property in the future. However, that was one night too late.

Place is a Dump. Carpet and upholstered furnishings filthy and soiled. Pool empty of water and full of trash. Carpet was missing in areas. Side doors to building were proped open day and night making it unsafe. No breakfast available. Elevator not working. In questionable neighborhood.

Broken glass door removed out to pool. The pool looked like it was filled with black oil with furniture floating. Disguising. No breakfast. Sign said closed for renovation. Nothing being done. Switchover from 3:00 p.m. front desk clerk to after 3 p.m. took forever due to computer slowness as I had to wait 30 minutes and never did receive my receipt or any requested paperwork. Horrible bleached out stains in the hallway carpet. Guest laundry washing machine broke down so I couldn't do any of my much needed laundry washed as I saw on the Red Roof Midland Amenities list. Very disappointing as everything was at this location. Sorry dirty everywhere! Get a cleaning crew in there or shut it down! Pure laziness! Not lack of help. Front desk clerk had her child behind the desk and interrupting the transaction numerous times. Office/front desk door to hallway open at all times putting the child at risk for child abduction and risk of robbery! Stay elsewhere. Try Staysuites by Marriot right there. I am.....

Our room did not appear to have been cleaned. There was a dirty towel and a used shampoo bottle in the bathroom. Upon waking we discovered hair in the bed that didn’t belong to us. The pullout mattress was also visibly dirty. Although the individual at the desk initially noted the room was marked as dirty, she checked with someone and then assured us it was clean. It was not. It was too late to leave; we just needed some sleep. Beyond the room, plastic trash was strewn on the main stairs and lobby floor. The walls and carpets were visibly worn and stained. Also, the breakfast area was closed for remodeling. That happens I suppose but there wasn’t even coffee available in the lobby - just an empty carafe marked water.

Place needs a total makeover, refurbishment, renovation. Place was dirty, stains on the carpet. Door jab in room falling off. Looks like someone kicked the door in. No ice machines working. Breakfast lobby was closed not in service. Place smelled awful. Did I mention the linen was old didn’t look too friendly to sleep in? I’m being nice with this review. Only reason I stayed was it was close to where I needed to go. Won’t stay at any Red roof inns if that’s the standard.

Breakfast bar was closed for construction although there was no construction, reception was conducting training on new hire and check in took exceptionally long. A/C had one setting on the coldest temperature and had to unplug the into to turn it off. Electrical outlets are faulty - you have to move the power cord around for it to make contact and get power.

The swimming pool has furniture floating in it and it's black as oil. The glass door leading out to the pool was off on my first day stay allowing anything to come in and tidk of a child drowning. The second day it was on, but a sign read broken do not use. The resident laundry was also out of order.

Not clean, dog feces in the main entry floor. Third floor had no AC (99 degrees) in the hallway. No WiFi, parking lot was rough but well lit. AC in hotel room worked well, and tv had many channels. Toilet stopped working, but daytime staff was able to fix it quickly. I would not recommend, there are several other establishments next door that are also reasonably priced.

The outside looked terrible. A broken industrial sized washer or dryer was by the front door. The entryway was not clean, the pool had no water, the breakfast area was closed, the business room was closed, no ice machines worked, there was sandwich meat, macaroni salad and 1/2 gallon of milk in the fridge, the comforter had “stains” on it, some of the lamps in the room did not work but at least the a/c worked 😏 Would not recommend this hotel.
